Grumbaki here. Hard to find a good avatar for a space marine. This one seems like it is workable though. Easier, I would say, for a hooded dark angel. Or a space wolf.

Also it looks like we’ll have an apothecary and a librarian. Can’t go wrong with any other classes to go with them.

Also hope it’s ok to be a Nova Paladin. They’re a new chapter that doesn’t follow the codex as religiously as the ultramarines. They feel like they have to prove themselves given their short history. To me, the low-ish Fellowship also represents being lower on the totem pole due to being from a lesser known chapter.

Aurioious will be a veteran of the 2nd Company’s Far Cry War, meaning that he has experience fighting Tau and Elder. I’d assume that he also has some minor experience combating Tyranids, but wouldn’t be considered an expert by any means. He has no experience dealing with Chaos.

• Primary Objective: Uncover the xenos involvement with the Halo of Providence and stop it (Veteran Objective, 30 Requisition).
• Secondary Objective: Keep the Ardent Crown from striking Solace (Skilled Objective, 20 Requisition).
• Tertiary Objective: Eliminate any targets of opportunity along the way (Veteran Objective, 15 Requisition).

"Inquisitor Reykholt has recently passed word to us about some information that he intercepted. The pompous fool expects us to heel and obey his every whim, but this time he might have a point. It seems a Choir of Astropaths has foreseen a grave disaster striking the world of Solace. More importantly, this disaster involves xenos—possibly multiple breeds of the foul creatures. The good news, though, is that if we can recover the Halo of Providence, it may be enough to stop the disaster. That artefact is aboard a lost Imperial ship, the Ardent Crown. The divination also indicates that the vessel is going to arrive in the Solace system shortly—after hundreds of years trapped in the Warp. You confront the xenos and stop whatever tragic fate they intend for Solace."

Watch Captain Hrolf Fangtaker bares his fangs, "Are there any questions, so far?"

Almost started going sniper rifle crazy, the remembered we are going on to a ship!

@ Ulf I'm not wanting it at this point, but because of the scout thing i miss tactical marine rank 1. If i wanted to get Rapid reload 200xp from aforementioned missed rank, how much would it cost me? I know in Dark heresy it is an extra 50xp, but not sure here.

a +100 premium should be reasonable.

Requisition points for this mission is set at 100 per marine.

since an additional 5k xp will place you guys in rank 2, it is reasonable to that you guys have attained the 2nd level of renown.

and yes, wolves may use their previous characters subject to update as per additional XP.

Will recruit a maximum of Six Battle Brothers, can be less. Must be able to post at least 1 per day, more is preferred. Character Concepts and History must be submitted and on this basis selection will be made. Character generation will be done in the Discussion Thread.

Ulf readies his force sword and bolter.

I suppose athletics would be appropriate roll to use when jumping out of a moving Thunderhawk to fall on the Kroot.

Ulf grabs a grav chute and equips himself with it. "Ready!!!!"

Ulf suggests, "We can jump off the Thunderhawk and the Kroot can break our fall."

Ulf smiles and draws his bolter.

"Nay! The moment we stop caring about humanity is the moment we betray Russ' trust!"

"Brother Stone, lead us now into combat. We yearn to administer the Emperor's justice upon the enemy. And we await your orders."

Concerned by what he considers to be unusual, Ulf communicates to the bridge, "Bridge, do you detect any warp anomalies?"

Ulf shakes his head at the scarcity of data on the artifact subject of inquiry. He quits the cogitators and proceeds to the practice deck to burn off some steam.

"Your company is welcome, Erik. Preparation, preparation, preparation is the sole basis of success."

Turning to Dane, Ulf asks, "You agree with that, Dane?"

Will be studying data on the planet; flora and fauna, recent reports on the planet, geography, etc. any other stuff not listed in the campaign tab.

"That tale of yours, Viluf, had better be entertaining, else I foresee the loss of a ration of Mjod in your future hahahahaha" Ulf laughs to indicate he appreciates the playful mood.

I'd be willing to bear some of the relics if the techmarine's hands are full.
