"I made it to begin with, ya fine big guy." She'd casually slap him on the shoulder and grin at Jorne as they continued up the hill. Completely unexpecting of anything, she'd nod at Jorne as he heard what was going on and head over. Scratching her head before giving a small shrug at Jorrast. "No, maybe someone back at the camp does? Worst case we head back to town and ask around."

Retcon from talking to Hotdog.

Tyrrana was about to run forward and grab Kartina when Alice managed to get there first. She couldn't be beat instant. Letting out a small laugh as the woman asked to be carried, she turned her attention towards Jorne's question. "If you're wanting to go check on them, I'll head with you. It's something to do beyond sit here waiting for them."

At the Camp:
Tyrrana staggers off the elk after the insane speeds it travels, a wide grin on her face. She couldn't wait to ride it again! All the same, they had to work to do. Though... There wasn't anyone around at the moment. That was weird. She wondered where they were. Shrugging, she got her bearings and sauntered over towards Hot Dog.

"If you've got another shovel, I'll help you out with this." She didn't even think to grab one, but surely they had another one. If she'd get told where to grab one or offered one, she'd just start helping him dig his trench. If there was one thing she knew how to do, it was simple manual labor.

Jorne:

"I'm just pulling your tail, even if you forgot about us, it's because we made ourselves scarce. Don't really have any questions for you either. Let's get over there and get this ambush set up proper." She'd give Alice a grin before starting after the man. Heading over towards where the elks were. The first time she's ridden an elk... It'd probably go fine.

For Alice & Jorne:

"Fair enough. Get me above them and let me tear them apart! I'm sure it'd go very well. I'm sure."

She'd finish off her cake, and likely spent the next little bit just enjoying tea with Alice before Jorne arrived. Blinking a bit at him, she'd give a small shrug. Getting up and doing a languid stretch, she'd give a snide remark.

"I figured you all had forgotten about us! Glad to be remembered. If there's going to be a fight, you can count me in. Let's get moving."

Avoiding how confusing the rest of the situation is by just staying back at base and eating cake is the new meta strategy.

For Alice:

"Ah, but we cannot flee if the enemy arrives. They'll be here in force, and that means we must fight. We would not leave these poor people to defend themselves alone, no? Without our other skilled comrades, leadership would fall to us. But, you're probably right that they'll be back before then. Perhaps they'll finish the entire enemy off and we won't have to do anything!"

She giggled at the thought, taking a sip of her own tea before biting into her cake. No knife, no fork, she's eating it with her bare-hands. Like it was a sandwich.

For Alice:

"No, not buttered bread, meat, something filling! But I suppose with the battle coming up, it is better to do something lighter. Assuming you're not suggesting getting something as dense as a brick? No, of course not."

She'd shake the woman's hand as they set out towards... wherever they could get a drink and a slice of cake. Probably the inn. But would the inn have cake? It wasn't a big town, and might not get sugar.

"How much do you want to bet that the enemy will get around our allies and attack the town with them away? Leaving just us two to defend the place?"

Alice:

Tyranna had just been wandering around the village with a confused expression on her face. There really was only one person they could be referring to when they said "Cat Lady", so she turned to look. She was fairly sure she had seen that woman back at the meeting, just having entered after she introduced herself. Giving them a small shrug, she strolled over, tail lazily swaying behind her.

"I can't find any of them, so it must be the case. Bit rude to scout without us. But it is what it is. If you're buying, I'll gladly take a drink and some cake. Though why cake? Kind of odd to eat cake before battle. Eh, we can have our cake and eat it too. Tyranna, by the by."

If Alice leads, Tyranna will follow. There were a lot of humans in their little expedition. Made sense. It was a mostly human kingdom.

Female Catfolk Fighter 7

Tyranna, not realizing that everyone else had left, has just been setting up her single sniper. She'll be very confused when she goes to look for everyone else and finds none of them.

Female Catfolk Fighter 7

Since Tyrrana got one other sniper to help her out, she'd direct them to where they were going to be setting up shop. Mostly just making sure the person who agreed to help out was good enough at climbing to be able to easily get up and down the tree. Since she had no clue what the others were doing, she'd just be focusing on trying to get the maximum possible effectiveness out of her own little strategy.

Female Catfolk Fighter 7

Humming and hawing about where exactly she wanted to set up, she'd eventually make the decision. Best to do it closer to the wall where any of their snipers had a better chance of getting back to safety. Now it was just a case of getting some other people to agree with her... Which, probably wasn't going to be easy. But, hopefully, she'd manage something.

The paladin chimes in. "I like the snipers being utilized in the trees and on the bridge. Unless anyone else has a better idea, I'll help guard the bridge."

"Well you're lucky you've got me then! Outside of the Startoss, climbing is the only other thing I'm good at! Wait, that came out wrong. The point is I'm good at climbing and sniping. I can lead a few snipers out to some choice spots and get them good." She gave the paladin a wide grin and a smile, feeling good in her new uniform. Now it was just a case of getting the city prepped for an invasion.

"If no one needs help with trenches or barricades, I'll be out trying to find good places for those snipers." She gave the group a few moments to tell her no, they needed her there, before turning to jog off. You couldn't just pick any spot. Oh no no, you had to pick the perfect tree! Especially when you were using a star knife which meant you didn't have the range of a bow...

So yeah, if no one disagrees, Tyrrana would like to try and set up some sniper positions.

"Tyrrana, I throw things at people and climb things very well. Beyond that, um... Yeah it's mostly just that. Also, perfect, uniforms!" Having downed her turkey as quickly as she could, she hopped up to hurry after Bearik and get her uniform. Poking the obelisk after him and popping out of where she was, and into where she was due to be. Seemingly being one of the few who followed him, she hurried

Answering the asked with simple answers and a shrug. "Armor can be enchanted to become better, or made out of special materials. This breastplate here's made out of mithril, basically feels like I'm wearing no armor at all anyway! So I'll pass on magic clothes. As for magic items... My belt, my cloak, and my amulet are the only ones."

Once she got the shiny new uniform with a grin, she'd go and grab the uniform. Before stopping and giving a nod. "A little help with the breastplate's straps wouldn't hurt! Unless I wear this overtop of the breastplate... Nah, I'll wear it under. Should still be able to tell what it is, eh?"

She'll get changed as quickly as she can with the help of the maids. Checking herself out with the uniform on, she grinned wide before hurrying back to Bearik.

She snagged the nearest glass of... whatever drink was on the table. Managing to get a few responses to her greeting, she raised the cup towards the three who spoke to her: another human and a kitsune who were further away, as well as the closer human with the rabbit. First, Xan. "Xan and Boffy! Excellent names for an excellent pair. A pleasure to meet you! Hope to hear a better song from you than me."

Then to Jor, giving the only other... beastly figure a cheeky smile. "As long as you don't call me late for dinner, then Jor is Jor! I'll definitely take your advice. Turkey with a side of perch sounds great."

Finally, Vandomir. Taking a swig from her mug of... she still wasn't sure. She'd wipe her mouth clear on the back of her hand, then respond. "Hobgoblin army? Sheesh, if you've got that coming your way, I can see why you've hired so many people. Story-wise, wandered up here from Garund, been all over Avistan, and seen a lot. Even fought some Hobglins in Isger once actually..."

Shrugging, she turned her attention back towards the discussion of the oncoming army. She winced a bit at the mention of trolls. Those were going to be a problem. "That... sounds dangerous. Trolls in an army. Hard enough to fight a troll by itself, if you're not some sorcerer who can cook it alive. In an army, with extra fodder? That'll be a nightmare. I'm good for fighting the rest of it though! Also, I'll take a uniform, assuming it looks good."

Slipping into the dining hall a bit late, Tyrrana blinked a bit at seeing all the other mercs already in the thick of eating and drinking. It was frankly a bit disheartening that she had missed the start of everything. Due to being late. Again. Even still, she got over it pretty quickly when she saw they had the best food imaginable. She saw turkey. She needed turkey. So she bolted towards the table, grabbing the first chair she could find. In the general area around Eris, Xanderain, and Jacques.

Sitting down, she'd practically grab the nearest waiter. "Turkey. I'd like Turkey, please." With that, the most important of tasks completed, she'd turn to the other adventurers around her. Tiefling male, shorter than herself with light chainmail, looked very spry. Human woman, light chainmail, looked very basic. Human male, maybe, heavier chainmail, with a live bunny. Colorful cast.

"Hello! I'm Tyrrana, wanderer, mercenary, stargazer, turkey lover! If you need a star knife thrown at something, I'm your girl! If you need magic, better ask someone else. If you need a song sung, I can do it, but don't expect anything great." The catfolk leaned far back in her chair, giving them all a wry smile and a salute. One of her ears twitched as her hand passed close to it.

Also, GM, I think I'm a bit lost. Should I just go ahead and post in Gameplay?

What brings her to Greenwatch is simple! A want for adventure, and a change in scenery! After having lived in Restov for half a year, the itch to see more and travel more managed to find its way back under her skin. So she hopped on a caravan bound for the wilderness kingdom. Only to have wound up sleeping in a bit aboard said caravan, running late to her appointment with Bearik.

(AKA, I'm an idiot and missed the post in the thread where you said for everyone done moves over here. Was expecting to see an "I've selected these characters.")

This is Berry Bunch, BTW. I would have gotten it done last night but the website hit me with the "took too long, so you lose everything". So the backstory's a bit shorter, and I didn't really have any good ideas on how to 'hook' them into what's going on in Elkheart.
