I never have been in a situation where a vote like this came up, but I am not sure I thought of splash damage as PVP either. There are all kinds of ways something can go bad and end up injuring the group - does this mean any actions with this as a possible outcome are not allowed?

I agree with the PM approach, though - not that I think it would sway me any, but I can see how others could feel they don't have much of a choice.

Since I am not in the strike zone, I don't think you would need a vote from me anyway here.

Travis moves so that he can see the bear, but stays out of the melee that ensues.

Deciding his best bet is to help the others from afar, he casts divine lance, although getting a clean shot is tough.

Travis moves to get a better view of the situation, but tries to stay out of the way. Seeing the large creatures, the halfling subconsciously raises a shield of force to help block any immediate attack. Are these undead?

Yes, apologies to all. RL issues have taken all of my time this week - work has been wondering where I am as well! If ever I don't respond right away, I am always willing to use a 3-action heal on the group like this.

"OK, let's be careful in here. I hear plenty of horror stories about this place."

As the group prepares to move out, Travis spends some time concentrating in divine prayer, and the group feels the healing powers of Chaldira!

3-action heal: 1d8 ⇒ 6

Seeing that Itka is still looking pretty beat up, Travis again prayers, concentrating on just those wounds.

2 action heal, target Itka: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

I believe that leaves Itka down only 1, and myself down 3, but everyone else is now full. I am now out of Heal spells, however.

Sorry - this last few days and the next week will keep me occupied with family matters. I will check in as available - meanwhile, anyone can "use me" for healing purposes. So I could have used 2 Heal spells in a 30' readius mode instead of those potions (keep them for later), and that would have applied the 12 healing to everyone, not just Bina. After that, how does everyone look?

Travis again hits it with a disrupt undead spell.

I am going to be on the road for the next few days, so please bot me if necessary. If anyone needs healing. Travis will jump into healer mode, but until then, the positive energy attacks seem to be working well against this cyclops.

Travis does draw out a shortsword, though he seems a little awkward holding it. He then casts a spell, disrupt undead, to see if he can do some damage.

Feeling refreshed, Travis again starts trying to apply his knowledge of religion to studying the tablets.

Travis reaches down to see what he can do for the poor animal. With his healer's tools, he spends 10 minutes trying to do the best he can.

Travis is afraid his fatigue is causing him to see things. Although his natural instinct is to go to the others to heal them, the halfling recognizes that the divine energy was somewhat effective. Deciding quickly, he sends another ray of goodness.

If Vixnix can act as translator, Travis will take him - if not, he will run back for a translator because there is little he can help otherwise. Once translation is in place, the halfling will work on understanding the tablets.

In the darkness, with vision failing anyway, Travis feels Panarug trying to help. "Thank you, my friend. But did I just hear the dwarf rush forward? We have to follow through the darkness and help."

Feeling is way carefully, Travis tries to descend a few more stairs. As the darkness fades, he thinks he is doing better, but then bumps into the wall.
