Toadlicker admires his new war-wounds (on his teeth?!) and seems preoccupied to everything going on around him. That is, until Jaldan makes her way to greet them, and his attention is firmly rooted on her feet. He nods in agreement to Thurk's congratulations, but opts not to say anything. After a bit though, his stomach grumbles, and he pulls out the strange doll from his belt and says, "Buggie bring me food?" When it does reply, he shakes it a couple times before tucking it back in his belt and wandering off to look for something to eat. Agreed! Thank you very much. That was a fun one. :)

Sorry for the wait. Work has been busier of late, so I generally haven't been able to post until this time. Watching his allies, and the enemies, from his hiding spot, Toadlicker hears Vinny's suggestion and looks towards the big stone. Sorry for the late post. Work kept me occupied. Toadlicker watches the others try to sneak through the leshys and fail miserably. While he still maintains a respectable distance from the centaur, Toadlicker happily talks about the doll that he keeps with him, and the events of a strange celebration gone wrong where bugs were heavily infesting a small town. Of course, he talks more about how the doll brings the 'buggies' and came to him on it's own, because it knew that he liked 'buggies'. I honestly think that secret rolls are awesome, when used properly. They allow the player to roleplay much more without being influenced by what they think a dice roll means. The downside is that it gives more work for the GM, but there are ways to mitigate that some.

Toadlicker stalks over to the tree, crawling around on all fours, without saying a word, unconsciously avoiding Jaldan's hooves. Athletics (Climb): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 Well that sucked... he would continue to try, unless someone stopped him. He makes his way up so that he's at the same level as the children, but keeps his distance, not wanting to scare them out of the tree. "Hi," he says simply. "I Toadlicker, and this Buggie." he motions to the ugly doll tucked into his belt. "This not your bag, and very dangerous. Give back to horse-lady. Please."
