While he still maintains a respectable distance from the centaur, Toadlicker happily talks about the doll that he keeps with him, and the events of a strange celebration gone wrong where bugs were heavily infesting a small town. Of course, he talks more about how the doll brings the 'buggies' and came to him on it's own, because it knew that he liked 'buggies'. All the while, a steady supply of drool drips from the side of his mouth, and the tongue that is occasionally hanging out.

Jaldan enjoys the tales of fighting strange and dangerous creatures, she certainly feels you are the people to help with the situation in the forest.
With Thurk he responds easily to his questions. "Ceneviel, well he’s an elven druid who watches over the forest nearby. Nice old guy, lives in the woods and has a pet wolverine named Berry-Eater. It’s really cute. He’s been teaching me a little magic, so I can be a great shaman later.”" she beams in pride that she is being taught by such a well respected teacher. But as Thurk digs deeper into Jaldan's understanding of magic, she shies off, lowers her head in a little embarrassment, “Well...” Jaldan trails off, then suddenly finding something above and behind your head incredibly fascinating. “I know a magic. A spell that makes water! Most of the time. Once I conjured very weak tea instead, but I don’t know what I did wrong, and Cenenviel won’t tell me till I’m further along in my training. No help at all.”
Pursuing the lead on Auntie Kaana she replies to Thurk, "Ohhh! ... Chief Kaana Korag of the Redpine Clan. She’s the best warrior in the clan, and the wisest leader. She’s not really my aunt, but she and my mom were war buddies way back when." the centaur seems to feel much better now that she has moved off the subject of magic.
And as for what is going on in the forest, Jaldan just reiterates her knowledge, "It's progressed through the last several months. The wildlife went from happy little forest spirits to creepy, angry, screwed-up-looking little buggers, just like that boy said. Urwal would know more, but I'm not sure. What I do know is that they get angry whenever they saw him. Think he may have come up with why, too!"
You move further into the Finadar Foerest the bruorsivi make it an odd sort of forest, largely indistinguishable from a typical evergreen wood except for the fact that everything is in shades of red. The branches overhead are crimson, and scarlet needles crunch underfoot. Jaldan is an enthusiastic traveling companion, continuing to pepper you with questions about the world outside the forest and listening wide eyed to your stories and descriptions of the creatures you fought.
For her, the trip to Urwal's camp is the equivalent of a summer stroll in the park, so while she keeps an eye on the forest out of habit, she's clearly not expecting trouble. Problem is, trouble awaits.
A band of absolutely bizarre creatures craws from the forest, chirping and hooting as they go. A moss-covered human skull scuttles along six branches like a spider. A dead raccoon slinks along on a fungal mat that bleeds sap from a hundred crimson 'eyes'. A twisted mass of weeds topped with pulsing flowers staggers forward, leaving trails of burning sap.
As you watch these weird unnatural plants, the oozing plants give out a plaintive shriek in some otherworldly tongue.
You recognise the language is Abyssal.
You are able to translate the words as Over there said over and over again.
As the tiny monsters approach, something odd happens. One dreadful creature, a rotten gourd walking on three rabbit feet, lunges toward Jaldan, only to trip and smash itself against an upraised root. Some kind of hot sap splashes around it, and in seconds the bruorsivi needles catch light and begin to burn. “Spirits of woe and weal,” Jaldan swears softly, watching in horrified fascination. “They’re going to set the whole forest aflame.”

I show you the D20 rolls, with the creature modifier, so it may look like it doesn't hit, but the modifier will take it there.
Vinney's projectile lands harmlessly at the side of the Leshy having been underthrown, but splashes it none the less.
Jaldan shouts, "The fire the fire, we must put out the fire." The centaur takes to the hoof, leaping over the fallen tree and on reaching the fire proceeds to stomp on the flames and put the fire out.
The strange Leshy(white) seeing a goblin run into the bush, decides to persue him. It's stalk lashes at Toad Licker, trying to lash both his legs in its tendrils, but Toad is too quick dancing away. Trip 1d20 ⇒ 6, Then it lashes at him with its sinewy green stem. Strike 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (17) - 4 = 13 for 1d6 ⇒ 4 damage
His friend marches forward to stand ready to defend both the fire and the Plum Leshy.
Meanwhile the Plum Leshy lets off a volley of rotten plums, oozing a sticky sweet juice and a nasty hard stone inside the rotting flesh. First at Shark Strike 1d20 ⇒ 11 for 1d6 ⇒ 6 damage and a Fortitude save please, then at Barrek Strike 1d20 - 5 ⇒ (8) - 5 = 3 which misses, covering a tree behind with a gooey mess.

As Shark approaches the evil spirited Leshy, it whips it's stem at the monk. 1d20 ⇒ 1, but it doesn't expect Sharks superior reactions to dodge out the way. Leaving the Leshy open to Shark's quick blows that nearly fell the creature.
Barrek does the famous dwarf dance, 'The Trundle' as he makes his way over towards the fire.
Whilst Milton, panics slightly as he gets his crossbow out and fires abolt deep into the forest, but nowhere near the Plum Leshy.
You cannot use Ki Strike this round, as it is 1 action to cast the Ki Strike spell, to enable you to KI Strike. I will not include the damage in this round. And the way the Core Rule Book is laid isn't the easiest to get this sort of thing right.
Your study of the flow of mystical energy allows you to harness it into your physical strikes. You gain the ki strike ki spell and a focus pool of 1 Focus Point. The rules for ki spells are summarized in the Key Terms section on the monk class page, and the full rules for focus spells appear here.
Source Core Rulebook pg. 401 2.0
Cast Single Action verbal
You focus your ki into magical attacks. Make an unarmed Strike or Flurry of Blows (this doesn't change the limit on using only one flourish per turn). You gain a +1 status bonus to your attack rolls with the Strikes, and the Strikes deal 1d6 extra damage. This damage can be any of the following types of your choice, chosen each time you Strike: force, lawful (only if you're lawful), negative, or positive.
Heightened (+4) The extra damage increases by 1d6.

Despite Vinny's terrible aim as she looses her flask of acid, it fortunately misses Shark and just splashes the Leshy fighting Shark. With the Leshy being on it's last legs after Sharks bombardment of strikes, the Leshy falls to the ground, as it does the Leshy calls out and unleashes though it's mouth a burst of green mist, which its the pushed violently away as the body implodes and disappears.
I need Toad Licker, Shark, Barrek and Vinny to make fortitude saves as the green mist touches your skin.
Jaldan suddenly rears up on her hind legs as the green mist envelopes her, causing her skin to blister and Jaldan to scream out in pain.
Toadlicker quickly dispatches the Leshy in front of him, before he runs to the remaining Leshy tries to bit its head off. But the every hungry Toadlicker, trips just before reaching the Plum Leshy and his bite just eats dust. Toadlicker, I have moved you to where I think you would move in your rage, but please move yourself if not satisfied. I will move the Plum Leshy away as part of its actions after your next post.
I need Toad Licker and Shark to make another fortitude saves as the green mist touches your skin.
As you think you have almost cleared the forest of the corrupted Leshys, another three come into view.
The new Leshy to the east waves its tendrils and the ground around it erupts in vines and brambles, making the surface difficult for those other than plants to walk through. Green square is difficult terrain. The sound of demonic laughter crosses the forest, from the Leshy as it looks at its handiwork.
The Plum Leshy fires a rotten fruit at Shark, before retreating and sending a second fruit at the goblin. Strike vs Shark 1d20 ⇒ 3, then Strike vs Toadlicker1d20 - 5 ⇒ (3) - 5 = -2 Neither fruit hits it's target.
The two new Leshys to the north, both see Toadlicker fighting their companion and aim their fruit at the goblin.

Green Strike 1d20 ⇒ 3, Green strike 2 1d20 - 5 ⇒ (1) - 5 = -4
However being so far from thier target, their eyesight lets them down and only one of the fruits hits Toadlicker dealing him 3HPs damage and the rotten fruit breaks open on his face, his mouth is full of the rotten fruit. Another Fort Save please, I will post the result later.

Spitting out the taste, Toadlicker pulls back on the second bite, which would surely have finished the creature.
Vinny raises her hand and sends a bolt from her crossbow, towards the exposed plum leshy, that seems to jump in the air a moment after her finger triggered the shot.
Toadlicker's Leshy runs back towards the safety of the growing vines and brambles, before turning round and shooting two rotten fruits at Toadlicker. Strike 11d20 ⇒ 5 Strike 21d20 - 5 ⇒ (20) - 5 = 15 damage 8HPs The first is just a sighter as the second is a direct hit, smashing into the goblin's open mouth. Please make a fort save Toadlicker
The other two plum leshys, fire their rotten fruit at the goblin, before moving to a safer position and taking cover. Green Strike 1 -1d20 ⇒ 4 Blue Strike 1 - 1d20 ⇒ 8 but both miss by miles.
Barrek, Milton, Shark and Thurk are up.

Thurk von Wolkowitz
|
Frustrated, Thurk moves closer to the nearest leshy and this time aims a ray of frost directly at it.
Ray of Frost: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 for 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 cold damage.
"Sorry about that, I am so upset that my hands are shaking!"
Breathe, Thurk, these are just weeds from some demon's backyard, nothing to be nervous about... He tries to calm himself.
Toad licker

Both Barrek and Toadlicker are burnt as the flames surround them, but through quick reactions skip around the worst of the flames. Both take 2 points of damage.
Just checking. This still applies, even though I'm no longer near them?
Barrek Half-Dead
|
Heaves some more dirt and debris onto the fire adjacent to him.
Athletics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Seeing his work is mostly futile, he yells at Jaldan, "Come on, big girl, get your head back in the game. Your forest needs you!"
He then sidles up to the nearby Leshy and delivers a one-two combo of jabs.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 bludgeoning
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 7 - 4 = 8 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 bludgeoning
But finds the little creature more nimble than expected.
TL: I think that's from the reflex save. You were adjacent when they expanded at the bottom of the round, iirc.

Yes, end of round sort of thing...on the fire's turn.
The Shark of Gozreh
|
Sky wished his mask covered more of his face as he inhales more poisonous fumes.
Fortitude: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
His coughing gets worse as the poison enters his lungs but he forces himself through it and runs around the edge of the difficult terrain again, getting to the opposite side of the leshy trying to hide in the vines, giving it a flurry of punches.

Perhaps the Pathfinders are getting tired, but none of the attacks manage to hit the Leshy's. The plant-like creature's laugh and start jabbering their strange tongue. The fire seems to be getting more of a grip on the forest floor.
Jaldan comming back to her senses, manages to douse the flames that spring up in front of her.

As much as he enjoyed a good fire, Toadlicker knows enough that this one is not good. Despite that, though, he also knows that his 'talents' are best used in getting rid of the source of the problem. With that in mind, he charges another of the leshys, hoping that it might taste good.

Biting into the Leshy, Toadlicker snaps through the stem, its head lolls to the side and falls, imploding on a cloud of poisonous spores.

You are sickened 1.
The goblin is suddenly seen coughing and spluttering as the Leshy's spores engulfed him.
Vinny, obviously put out by the Toadlicker's sudden turn of luck for the worse is momentarily distracted as her finger squeezes the crossbow's trigger., The bolt flies aimlessly into the trees, killing a watching crow.
The leshy in the tangled undergrowth, moves quickly through the brambles and vines, which almost appear to part for the creature. Area is Difficult Terrain, except for plants and plant-like creatures. Then it turns, to see the two humanoids that attacked it, it fires more of it's rotten fruit at the ghostly looking dwarf, Rotten fruit 1d20 ⇒ 3 however Barrek saw it coming and easily step to the side as the fruit flies past his nose. Disappointed the leshy takes its time and concentrates on aiming the next shot at Barrek, but it hadn't quite got the range perfect and the fruit just rolls by the dwarfs foot. Strike 2 1d20 - 5 ⇒ (15) - 5 = 10
The other Leshy decides that hanging around to be gobbled by the goblin is not the end it wants, so starts to escape towards the south. It sees Milton as a target on the way and decides to give it one last shot. Strike Milton 1d20 ⇒ 19 - Critical - Milton takes 2 HPs damage and a fort save please.

With the Leshy concentrating its attention on Barrek, it doesn't see the rock approaching it's head. With a squelching sound, the rock bury's itself in the leshy's head, causing it to explode in a cloud of poisonous spores.
