![]() You found Old Flotsam. It was the folding boat back in the room with the first fight against the skeletons and the mist. Everyone backs away from the yawning pit. With Tzur-Vaal, his wife Aluu-Nekva, and their minions destroyed you are free to search the area. By the pile of mangled pathfinder bodies you find two masterwork rapiers, a scroll case containing scrolls of Darkvision, Glitterdust, Mirror Image (CL 9), Dimension Door, and Enervation. Their armor has been shredded beyond repair as Aluu-Nekva tried various combinations of seasonings and spices to get their flesh to taste just right. In the area between the curtain you find the seasonings along with The Orb of Stars, a bottle of Nightmarish Pigments, and a pouch of Void Dust. Some testing of The Oblivion Shaft reveals it is hundreds of feet deep and the negative energy is drawn to you with increasing intensity if you try to descend or hold your ground. Oddly, it does not strike anyone ascending the shaft. Everyone is certain they will need to return at another time, properly prepared to be able to reach the further depths of Sevenfinger's tomb. Orb and boat in hand the party has no trouble recruiting the few surviving sailors and making their way back to the Grinning Pixie and Captain Benarry. When she sees you arrive with Jaohd and the bodies of his team she asks you for a full report. ![]()
![]() Brie's first slash is a hair wide, but the followup connects. Naevys pulls the trigger and hears a concerning click. She pulls the trigger again, and while the gun doesn't explode it still throws her aim off. Vomer digs deep into his supplies to help Jaohd be able to reach Tzur-Vaal. Aaftaab stands paralyzed by indecision after the loss of his companion. Lifted into the air by Vomer's magic the paladin has no such trouble. I do. Jaohd lifts his sword and flies forward.
