Hey guys. I just got a new job and it's taking up a lot of my time so I am going to have to drop out of the game. I wish everyone the best and hope that you all have an absolute blast.

Not as of yet but I have some theories that I am working on for many different types of solutions and extracts. There is one that I am working on that can greatly enhance mental activity but I have not quite gotten it right yet. He says, oblivious to the ickiness of the gnome.

/Speaking Gnomish/ My sincere apologies sir! I did not see you. He says a bit breathlessly. Motioning to the vial he says Oh that is just the base for an explosive compound I have been working on. Don't worry, it is completely safe without the catalyst. I am Thimble, Thimble Flittershot. He finishes extending his hand.


Spellcraft DC 15 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 Learns Jolt.


Thimble will just take the gold for a weeks worth of crafting. 1d10 ⇒ 5 times 2 = 10 gp


Thimble will spend most of his spare time in the crafting hall working on his alchemy and teaching Cezar should he wish to learn the rudiments that Thimble has picked up.

Also he is more than willing to do work making alchemical items or components for people in order to make some extra money.


Thimble gets a huge grin on his face and shouts out Cezar! Come see what I found! Without waiting he grabs Cezar's hand and starts pulling him towards the crafting hall, chattering excitedly the whole time. They have stations for crafting all sorts of things and students are allowed in there any time! The have Alchemist stations and stations for inventing and all sorts of things! It's amazing!


Thimble looks around the crafting hall in wonder, trying to keep the drool from running down his chin and befouling the floor. Trying not to giggle with glee, he goes over to some of the alchemical equipment, running his hands over the various beakers and burners. Suddenly remembering his new friend he turns and heads out of the hall looking for Cezar to show him what he found.


After that ridiculously boring class, Thimble needs a bit of stimulation so he goes in search to see if there is a crafting hall or alchemist lab that students have access to.


Thimbles smiles as he leaves with everyone and says Wow an illusionist could make great money selling mental illusions for use during classes like those. That was horrific.

Arcane bombers don't get specialties from a mechanical perspective but Thimble probably wouldn't have a hard time with picking one from a rp bent like evocation. Explosions are fun.

Thimble goes in the corner and pouts as he has no familiar to play with :-(


Thimble's eyes light up and he says Evocation! The study of energy, including manipulation and creation. According to A Comprehensive Study of Magical Theory it is often viewed as the most barbaric of the magical schools but I just think that's because the wizard that wrote it, Bartholomew Threm, was an enchanter and as such is prejudiced against the more forceful aspects of magic. If you ask me I just don't think people appreciate a good explosion enough.


Thimble follows Vasile, his tiny form veritably skipping as he rushes to keep up, bombarding her with questions. So you and Cezar are siblings? That's amazing to be here together! I have four brothers and three sisters myself but they all think I'm crazy for wanting to come here. What do you think you're favorite subject will be? I hope you don't mind my experiments. I have managed to find a way to make my explosive compounds stable enough to be carried. THAT took some doing and a few months of missing eyebrows I can tell you that! Thimble continues chattering away happily as he follows Vasile to the room.


Thimble gets a huge smile on his face and says I hope there is some instruction on the sciences as well but if not I can make due with my experiments. I would be more than happy to share what I have learned! As far as my age goes, I'm actually quite young...I'm only 32! As my mother says I'm barely off of apron strings!


Thimble seems overjoyed that his classmates actually responded. For a moment he is at a loss of what to say. It is a pleasure to meet you as well. As far as being a genius I suppose so but according to one of my village elders I believe the exact words were that "I have heaps of brains but not a lick of sense." Though I suppose burning down his barn didn't help with his views on me. I told him it was an accident and that I had just made a calculation error where I had forgotten to carry a one but he wasn't one for scientific endeavors anyway.


Hearing the others going over to get their room assignments, Thimble follows them over as well. He walks over to the nearest person in line and sticking out his hand, says Hello! I'm Thimble Flittershot. What's your name?

Anyone waiting in line can be the one he approaches.

Carrying an enormous pack, and walking near the front, a tiny blond gnome looks around in wide eyed wonder at the magnificent buildings. He doesn't seem to ever shut up and talks progressively faster as he gets more excited. Raising his hand, which causes him to lose control of his pack and trip, after a fearful expression comes over his face and a quick check and listen to his pack, the gnome pops back up without the slightest hint of embarrassment and says in a high voice Miss? Miss? Is it true that the walls of the Cube are made of adamantine? Oh and the Hall of Shaping I've read in The Awesome Architecture of the Academy that virtually every time you go by it is slightly different? and how is it that... He continues on like this until the woman either tells him to be quiet or answers...invariably leading to more questions.

@Shane: One question is that if picked would it be possible to swap out the ability given in the arcane bomber that changes out Cantrips for a bonus to hit and damage by sacrificing a spell. It would seem to me that a game like this cantrips would be more important.


This is imimrtl presenting my Arcane Bomber Wizard. Thimble Flittershot! Thimble is a brilliant but precocious young gnome who was sent to the Acadamae by his village. They pooled their money and have sent him with enough to pay for his first term with the promise that he would find work while there to keep going. They told him it was because of his brilliant mind that they did not want to see wasted in a small farming village but the real reason he was sent was that they determined sending him cost less than replacing the various barns that went up in flames and livestock that ran off when one of his experiments went awry. He is incredibly enthusiastic about attending the school having read everything he could on it and it's history.

Ok here is my submission. Shinzen Tomaka was born and raised among the shadowy underworld of Tian's criminal element. Orphaned when he was very young, he was adopted into a ninja clan and raised as one of them. He came up through the ranks quickly, the natural proclivities of his race allowing him to get into and out of places that many others were not able to. Swift and silent, Shinzen deals out death from afar when possible but is not averse to closing quickly, striking and then melting away.
