The Diplomacy check means we risk loosing favor, right? That is why I am not attempting it. Even with assistance and a buff, it is still too close to 50% failure for me, and I have a high Diplomacy. I am a little bit confussed though, on how much time of the day we have. I was originally under the impression that helping burrying the undead would essentually take our entire day, but other responces seem to indicate we might be able to do other things. So, if we can do other things, (sorry, it is difficult for me to follow everything going on for some reason), what all can we reasonably do at the moment.

If he doesn't answer, I'll knock again gently, and then just leave for something else. I would like ask "Father Grim" about the monument though. Who is it representing, and what is it's signifigance? We heard a voice prior to the attack saying that "we would fail to stop it, and that it would infact kill her and be freed". Do you know who "her" might be? After hearing his answer, Did the person for whom the monument is for have a significant female in their life? Scandalous or of good virtue? Does this mean anything to you, sir-priest? By the weapon presented, I am guessing perhaps a prison guard, or perhpas something to represent the prison itself, if not an individual. . . ? Also, throughout the day, I'll as both Father Grim and the other priests that we assist with the remains a few other questions: Did you notice anything strange about the circumstances of the Professor's death, or his remains? Do you know whose remains these (the undead we destroyed) are? Anyone local? If so, there may be clues around their former resting places, (and it might be a good idea to rebury them there, and note if any other graves in the area are, tampered with). Do you know any rumors about a ghostly red mist or figure in red robes? We seemed to have seen one earlier, but it vanished before the undead attacked us. Any local legends or rumors of this? Why is this monument frequented by lovers? Is it only youthful trists, or do older coupes also come here, and why? Besides us, and pror to the Professor's death, has anyone strange or new been seen in town?

Tell me good sirs. Are these creatures rising commonly here these days? You do not seem as surprized as I would think? I'd like to take the Professor's Journal and the Book "with the Scarab on top", to read through in down times. The last three, I will refuse to touch. Hearing a disturbance, I'll try to quickly make my way to the middle, hoping to get in the way of any bloodshed and stop anger from becoming violence. Good people, what is the matter here?, very loudly, hoping to shock them a moment, but enough to break what might become a mob. I'll get to work on the books. Little Miss Jaylen. May I call you this? Would you like some help with the cooking, once I finish here? I have some talent. Then I shall go retrieve some water for bathing. I haven't been here is years, though I believe the ruins spoken of are the remains of the Harrowstone Prison. It burned down some years ago, and many rumors are attributed to it of the ghost that still linger. It is believed that the warden and his wife both linger still, not to mention countless prisoners and guards trapped within as the prison burned to a cinder. It is mostly a local mystery spot of sorts, a haunted house, as children are fond of trying to bluff others to enter it for a night, if they dare. he says with a smile, still recalling some fond memories he and the Lorrimor's had sworn they would investigate and "adventure" within, back when Kendra andhe where still so young. We always said we would purify it one day. It was, sort of a game. A joke between us. No real ghosts linger there. dun, dun, dun. . .

Odd, my post went away. I saw it actually come up, too. No my dear. Please, relax. I'd like to just talk. To easy your burden. Of corse I shall stay, and I shall do whatever you need. Anything. That's what, . . . friends are for. We where friends once. I, I know I made a mistake and I hurt you. I can not take that back. I had no choice. But, please. Do not worry. About anything. Everything will be fine, and let me help you. What can I do? motioning around to indicate he means to help with the housework.

As you said earlier, your father saught information of the evils of the world, so that we could all better fight them. You know, deep down, you know, he was no necromancer. And thank you for the hospitality. I would be honored to read these, and to investigate, if you wish it. BUt tonight, I think, tonight should we should rest. We have gone through so much today, I think your soul is in need of reprise.

DM, I was just curious. Are you having any difficulty with what my character says, in character? I am trying to give him a unique voice, with the way he talks, but I realise that english is not your native language, and I do not want to cause confussion. Let me know, and I can try to tone it down so more.

I'll applaud, hoping to ease her unease and boost her confidence a bit, while offering thanks for true and heartfelt words. As we approach the house, I'll make a point ot hold the door (and gate) for all to enter before proceeding, and I'll also ask Mistress Kendra Is there anything I can do to help? I am at your service, and you should not worry about these things, I'll help.

On his turn, Loren will take the stand and tell of his memories with Petros, with Kendra, and what they meant to him. I was very young when the noble Lorrimor's took me in. More into their hearts than under their wings, but still I learned to fly with their help and guidance. The Professor taught me, I didn't have to be what my family insisted was my destiny. That I could set out and find my own way. That I could bring greatness to Ustalav on my own path, rather than, . . . as my gaze travels towards Kendra’s for just a moment. It was through their nobility of spirit and heart, their devotion to the spreading of knowledge and wisdom, that I became the man I am now. The Professor hired me on one of his expeditions through the lands of Mists, and on the way I learned I had a hero’s heart.

Sense Motive:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 Stepping in front of Mistress Aemrelara, hoping to break his distraction Um, um, good sir!, and I'll motion back to the coffin, hopefully granting him something else to focus on without alerting everyone else present to the rudeness. Perhaps we can speak of this after we finish this. I'll also whisper over my shoulder towards Miss Aemrelara, Be weary of this one, dear. He is paying a little too much attention to thine, . . . charms, and I trust not his looking. Might be a good idea to cover up whilst he is around. And he may be of the sort that would take what he wants and ask thy leave later.

Edited as I had posted before reading everying, and it was redundent. Are you still hurt, dear girl? I'm sorry, . . . for all of this. Looking about at the commoners and councilmen, What was this? Why did they attack us, and why are they permitted to say such things about Mr. Lorrimor, especially now? What is going on here? [i]I'll also step over to take my place and ready to relift the coffin, not rushing anyone.

Round 2, Init 20 (3rd)
Remaining Unarmed, I will ask Kendra to stand behind or beside me, I shall not attack these people, even if they strike at me, but nor will I allow them to harm Kendra or her father. I ask you again, please, go from here and leave us be to finish this grim business. I will Ready an Action to intercept any incomming attacks against Kendra or the Coffin.
Male Human Cleric 1
Knowing that accusation against her father's honor as a scholar would sting her more than anything else, Master Lorrimor was a great man, not a student of evil. You should be more careful with what you say, and the pain it will spread, friend. I will also lower the coffin, making sure to do so carefully and in unison with the others, even if we get attacked. back towards Marzio, Agreed, Knight-brother. I will not attack the comman man for such as this. Do you sense any magics clouding their mind or will?
Male Human Cleric 1
Come now, friend. certainly you would not deny such a woman her right to her father, a man that braught much good and prosperity to the lands here, to rest the lands near her. That she might visit him as the need arises. Surely you can find it in your heart to step aside, and let us finish this grim business for a beloved father and friends? Diplomacy:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 I shall also try to move the coffin a little closer to Kendra, both to be able to protect her should anyone try to cause her more pain, and also to hold her back. Will also get good grip on the coffin. I know only the very basics. I have all the books, but have not read them as I wanted to play this. I have glanced through, but know very little details about anything. I'll also whisper to Kendra, hoping to encourage her knowing this is likely breaking her already broken heart, Come my dear, let us ignor these men for the moment, and honor your father. Whatever hate and drunkeness had inspired this, we have, . . . more important tasks at hand. No matter what, though, we are here beside you.
