With a look up at Roland, he places a hand each on Baldo's snout and Roland's greatsword. "Magdh sometimes lets The Armenian Man twist fate. Let's put her ill-fate to work for our advantage. The Armenian Man stands up and nods. He hefts his scythe, and readies a spell on his lips. Assuming we buff and go, given a standard action for each blessing, the rounds above should reflect how long the Blessing remains active. The Hexing Attacks go off on the first target struck; The Armenian Man can choose when to use his Lucky Presence. Curse Blessing wrote: Hexing Attack (DC 15): You can touch one weapon and enhance it to inflict a minor curse on the next target it strikes. The struck target must succeed at a Will saving throw or take a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, or ability checks (warpriest’s choice) for 1 minute. Luck Blessing wrote: Lucky Presence (minor): At 1st level, you can touch an ally and grant it a lucky presence. The target of this luck can call upon it to roll any one ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check twice and take the better result. The decision to use this ability must be made before the roll is made. Once used, or once 1 minute passes, the effect ends.

He still would have swifted divine favor, but with no target to strike would have self-applied his own luck blessing with his standard, instead. Roleplaying FYI: this doesn't come up much, but sometimes I make pop-culture references with The Armenian Man that don't make much sense on Golarion, so I like to explain it when I do. His back-story had him abducted by quirky fey that took him to strange places where they enjoyed both his reaction to the places, and the reactions of locals to him. As such--while I wouldn't expect any other PCs to understand the reference--in his backstory The Armenian Man has seen a Kool-Aid commercial on one of these strange trips. When he enters the room, he looks for the equivalent inside wall to check to see if the damage or repair went straight through the wall. ![]()

The Armenian Man doesn't, but we'll all find out!" Before leaving the Grand Lodge, The Armenian Man finds a quiet spot on the grounds from which to commune with Magdh. He paints a pair of dots above each ear, then begins performing a series of readings with a jumble of bones and a bowl of clear water. He incorporates any Pathfinders who join or observe into the reading, directing them to sometimes hold and sometimes cast the bones. He never reveals what anything means, though he seems excited at every casting. This is Magdh's Obedience, which grants The Armenian Man a +4 sacred bonus to three Intelligence-based skills for the next 24 hours. He is selecting Knowledge (nature), Knowledge (religion), and Spellcraft. The die roll is not required, and has no impact beyond flavor. ![]()
