You should bring all of your paper chronicle sheets for a character anytime you plan to play that character. The records that matters are the paper chronicles. Recording things online is important for other reasons, but in terms of showing up at a gameday, if the GM needs to check something on your character, they'll need to see the paper chronicle sheets.

If you completed three scenarios with a pregen, you can apply all of those chronicles to the same character, which would make it a level 2 character to start.

As long as it is three different scenarios it can be applied to one character. If it is the same free rpg day mod each time you play it you give the credit to a different character.

Problem is even those that attend conventions have a very minimal chance at getting them , well unless your friends with the con coordinator.
Allowing them to be given out through other means is a good idea.

Personally I will walk away from a table where I end up out of tier, if the table doesn't make oh well not my problem.

Then what they need to do is have a subtier for every level the scenario covers 1-5 3-7, lets not penalize people.

As I stated previously the campaign is forcing people to play up to there detriment. The way they tier the scenarios is the culprit however not the way gold is issued.
I personally will walk away from a table if I cannot play it with a char that is in tier.
This is a personal choice and not one that I think others should follow unless they want to.

The only problem I have with this system is the way the scenarios are tiered. 1-5(1/2&4/5) 3-7(3/4&6/7)etc.
What this means is in a 1-5 scenarios a 3rd level is forcibly screwed with no option not to be. The same is true for a 5th level in a 3-7.

Mike is there some way we can fix this. maybe change the tier's to read 1-5(1-3&3-5)etc...?
T least this will prevent people from being intentionally screwed.

A question came up at a game today. when DM's get credit for running a scenario do they get all the boons( such as a improved familiar) that is on the chronicle ?

My open mind ended when i read the developers are in favor of allowing other players to steal items i have gathered. i do not have alot of time to play games, so when i do get to relax a bit i do not want to waste my time doing things in a game just to have someone else steal it.
Unless they change it they have lost my support for this game. Well at least i'll get the print copy.
Personnally i cannot beleive the developers wish to alienate any paying customers but apparantly they do. So therefore i will take the ks donation as i just bought the books and minis and go elsewhere taking my friends with me.

I personally dislike the fact that i will be forced to participate in PVP. At this time it looks like i will use my 4 free months and than leave the game. The designers insist on forcing pvp on people that dislike it, Guess they just want to please the fps players that only want pvp. any game without areas that are none pvp will not be a game i enjoy playing.

Personnaly eta d' lore i dont care what you put your money into, thats your problem. I have a couple friends who would have helped with the ks but saw posts by people like you and told me "screw that". I still supported gw and will try the game. If it turns out like you want then i'll just go elsewhere. Any game is about all players not just the few who want to go around and kill others to loot there stuff. There should be a happy medium where everyone can enjoy this game. There are numerous play styles that should be adressed in any game. If the dev's just do it your way then what will most likely happen is all of those like me who prefer not to pvp will leave and find other games to play, then who will you have to go beat on and rob.
Remember this is an mmorpg not a fps. Every mmorpg is a pvp game to some extent. I would really like to here from the developement team on this issue. Still sounds like its just gonna be another UO Ripoff, where you spend more time replacing stuff than enjoying the content.

Personally i do not have fun with pvp i think it ruins any game it is the primary focus in. however if they balance pvp with pve and it is only allowed in certain areas i have no problem with it, if i go into that area than technically i flag myself for pvp. to say pvp is what this game is all about is a little premature. lets wait and see what they do. i will give it a chance and see what comes.
on another note if your only in this game for pvp perhaps you should not play any type of mmo and instead go play a fps like tribes.

do we know the limit on the bags of holding, can we use 2 or just 1. if we could use 2 i would actually add enough to get a couple more player pack add ons.

another idea would be to add a new reward tier.
you already have the crowdforger buddy, how about adding the crowdforger trio where you can have 2 friends join you in the game. it would be x3 instead of x2, add another $75.00 to the pledge level.
you could also add in an item that let you know when each of you buddies logged in.

I am partial to seeing a pet or mount addon, most people will jump on that if it reasonably priced.

Well i still will not play a game that discourages soloing in this manner. It is not worth my time to sit around and try and find a group with others that are on at the same time as i am. This is a horrible idea shrug , they keep it in i dont play the game and they lose any additional support!!

when some players have the opportunaty to steal gear from other players it allows some of them to exploit it. as i said if this stays in i will not play the game. i will not start something only to have a bunch of peolpe steal what i have worked for. to put it bluntly those that enjoy causing grief in this way will find a way to abuse the system. has happened to many times. there is no way they can assure the system will be infallable.

I just read a post concerning the ability of other players to loot items off of another players corpse.
I totally disagree with this course, this is near to the system use in uo. this was the main reason many people left uo. i fear this will cause the same issue with pathfinder. personally i will not play a game where other players can loot stuff from me. this is due to a very bad experiance with other games that used this type of system.
