Female Half-Orc Commoner 1
Just letting you all know, tomorrow, I'll be getting on a plane to the US. So there will be a huge gap of time where I will most likely not be online. I might check in from Beijing, but I can't guarantee it. Also, I'll be in the states for about a week, and I'm sure I'll have internet at various points, but I'll also be moving stuff and visiting friends, so I might not be available quite as much as I have been. Aside from my day in the Beijing Airport I should manage once a day just the same though!
Female Half-Orc Commoner 1
Tama processes Judeau's rock throwing slowly, and obviously comes to the conclusion that they're fighting. So, brandishing her club, she runs at the man Lelouch calls father - full of vague recollections that Lelouch doesn't like him. He must be bad then. So Tama will hit him! Tama smash: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Luckily, she's not very good with that club...
Female Half-Orc Commoner 1
Tama was starting down the tunnel, but the commotion behind her draws the half-orc's attention, and she comes running back, her stick at the ready and in both hands and eyes wide and wild. She looks hopelessly towards Lelouch and Remus, with no idea what's going on. "Tama fight?"
Female Half-Orc Commoner 1
Tama just follows the others. It's hard to say if she fully understands the inherent dangers in a situation like this or not - but she does grip her club tightly. When the stranger opens up the floor, she just gapes, toothy mouth hanging open to reveal her various fangs. She's never seen anything like it, and slow moving as her brain may be, curiosity begins to creep in. Still gripping her club, she starts towards the tunnel, keen on exploring.
Female Half-Orc Commoner 1
Tama just stares at the man. Obviously, the half-orc knew that she had parents somewhere in the back of her brain, but she never thought much about it. She scratches at the back of her neck thoughtfully, but doesn't say anything. Instead she looks towards Phaedra and Remus, used to following the leads of others on how to react to things.
Female Half-Orc Commoner 1
"Phaedra hair pretty." Tama can be counted upon to tell the truth as it hasn't occurred to her to say anything different. There's always a hiss of a lisp around Tama's fangs and despite being huge for a 15 year old, she hunches up and tries to look small and just looks awkward.
Erm, fixed.:

Ok! Vivi finished. :) Vivi's Appearance:
Vivian is a big woman, her Ulfen ancestry running strong in her wide shoulders and broad jawline. She's handsome if looked at in the right light, but can also seem masculine, especially since she doesn't particularly dress or behave in a way that accentuates her femeninity. With jet black hair that she usually wears in a severe braid down her back, dark eyes, and pale northern skin (albeit tanned from the fields), she very much looks the part. She walks with a lion at her side, a female lion, tawny and sleek and dangerous. Vivi's Personality:
Vivian is serious and stoic. Good at hiding her emotions and bad at expressing them, she is wont to observe the world with apparently impassive eyes. However, she has a naturally kind heart, and it is her words that speak bigger than her actions; Vivi will stop to help anyone (Or any animal) that she can. She is a big fan of doing over talking, so while people discuss the best course of action, she will often simply go and begin doing what she believes is right. Vivian's Background: Vivian has grown up in Heldren. Raised by her single father Barrak, she has often heard tales of his one and only trip outside of Taldar - to the frozen north, where he met and fell in love with Vivian's mother, a proud Ulfen warrior. Ingrid came south to Taldor with Barrak, and died giving birth to Vivian. Barrak has always said that Vivian looks just like her, and carries many of her traits. He struggled to teach his only daughter what he knew of her heritage, including Skald, and a bit of how to fight.
Still, there is no predicting the course of children, and instead of following her late mother's footsteps to become a fighter, Vivian became highly interested in nature instead. When she wasn't working on her fathers farm (developing strong muscles and a golden tan), she took to wandering the hills around Heldren and getting to know the terrain and animals there. Singha was actually a rescue from a travelling circus - the lion was sick and would no longer perform, and got left behind to die, so Vivian nursed her back to health. Though happy in Heldren for the most part, Vivian has also often felt the pull of her mother's blood. She has a vague sense that she needs to explore that part of herself, and often catches herself looking towards the mountains in askance. Maybe one day she'll get a chance to explore them and beyond...
Done finally! Sorry this took so long >< Sivrn's Story::
She guarded the books. That was her job. Sivrn was, as many Sphinxes are, interested in her own pursuits and knowledge, her own puzzles and riddles to solve. They are, after not too long, the only thing interesting in a Sphinx's world.
Sivrn's library was hidden long ago under the rule of the Whispering Tyrant, sealed up so that the lich and his minions could not find the secrets within. Its mage guardians were only humans and they were lost, leaving the (then young) Sphinx to her own designs in the library. So it was that Sivrn had no real parents, outside of what she came to view as her books. She hunted outside for her food, and weathered the blight that was the Tyrant's reign in relative obscurity, and relative unawareness of the outside world. Instead, knowing only that she was meant to protect the books, she focused on her own interests and pursuits instead. She read many books, and studied a wide variety of subjects, never settling on one to study deeply. Sivrn met no humans that challenged her. There was one curious wizard that failed her challenge of riddles ... she threatened to eat him, but in the end only swiped an arm off when he tried to cast a spell at her. But for the most part, she was not disturbed, and her duties were dull. The library was forgotten, the books forgotten, Sivrn and her vigil forgotten. That is, until Professor Lorrimor found her. Not only did the Professor solve her riddles for access to the ancient books, but he gave her a new puzzle to solve that occupied at least part of her (by now) utterly bored brain. That puzzle she still has - a stick that grew oddly in many twists and odd shapes, sanded and smoothed down. The object is to find both ends of it, but try as she did, She could never find either one. Not quite word play, but enough to keep her interested. As she could not solve the problem of the endless stick, Sivrn was bound by her promise to let him into the forgotten library. The Professor stayed, too, in part to read the books, and in part out of curiosity about Sivrn - because she had been left on her own, she was an odd mix of desperate for interaction and completely self sufficient. Intelligent, of course ... and knowledgeable ... but he also found her temperment widely varying, and difficult to predict. Still, Sivrn liked the old scholar, maybe because he was the only person she'd talked to for any length of time, and she was sorry to see him go. She did not let him take her books, though, partly because of her duty to protect them, and partially in the hopes that it would force him to return with more puzzles and conversations for her.
The professor is dead. Sivrn never asked Lorrimor what he was studying in her books. She is at her core a terribly selfish creature, and was not particularly interested in his motivations or pursuits. Now she thinks that maybe she should have asked. Maybe she should have known what he was looking for. Maybe it was dangerous. Maybe its why he died ... maybe she could have helped. Sivrn has never left the library. Now, motivated by what she can only describe as mild annoyance her only contact with the outside world - and maybe her only friend - is gone, she comes to his funeral to see what trouble the information from her library has caused. She is a fickle creature, and like many of her emotions, this one is little more than a whim ... but its still more interesting than watching the books any longer. Sivrn's Personality: Sivrn is catlike. In essense, she is fickle, tempermental, and easily bored. Intelligent and interested in the pursuit of knowledge, she is also utterly amoral by general standards and uninterested (for the most part) in getting people to like her. The only thing she is consistent about is any promise she makes regarding riddles or games. She is also clueless about the world other than what she has read, and has yet to experience many things first hand. New experiences are what she craves most, but she won't be shy about the ones she doesn't like. |
