Talevia felt herself slipping away, watching as her fingers began to dissolve. "Kyra! Save the others first! I shoul..." She never finished her sentence as her physical form melted into a now familiar puddle of goo. Goo Will save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 Failed! Wis 9/11

Talevia felt that now familiar tingling throughout her body... Will Save 15: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 ...and her expression melted as did the rest of her body. Will Save 15 to reform: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 She managed to reshape herself with a curse. "We have no time for this. I can feel myself slipping away in this curse." Steeling herself, the Paladin covered her mouth and nose and moves through the noxious cloud towards the trap door. Fort save in the noxious cloud: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Talevia follows the others into the new room. A kitchen wasn't very surprising to find in this manor, the staff had to eat after all, but there was always the off chance that this room was merely a deception. She slowly walked around the room, poking at the pots and pans, and peering into the jars and barrels. Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Will save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 Talevia the puddle slowly rises up from the ground to resume human form. For a moment she looked shaken, having had her physical form dissolve into goo was not a pleasant sensation. "That was NOT a comfortable sensation." she said regaining her composure. "We need to move on and find this book. I don't know how much longer we can suffer this curse."
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia let out a calming breath. "There is truth to those words." she said in reply to Khellek. "I hope that these battles are leading us towards our goal. I do not relish unnecessary deaths." The Paladin trembled slightly as she felt the curse resurfacing. Curse Will save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Talevia pulled three more arrows from her quiver and took aim at woman in Yellow. "Kyra! On your Left!" She shouted as she nocked and fired in rapid succession. 1st Attack on Tattoo Lady: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

Talevia was drawing three more arrows from her quiver when the bomb hit Kyra. She turned away, hoping that her armor would save her. Reflex Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 3 fire damage. Arrows in hand, the Paladin of Erastil moved around the book shelf and aimed at the Alchemist, trusting in her skill to avoid hitting Kyra. 1st attack on Alchemist: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

The two melee fighters had fallen, which was a good sign, but that left the two women standing outside. Talevia could only see one fully, so she slipped in behind Doodle in order to get a good view at both. She drew three arrows from her quiver, nocked, and loosed them. 1st attack at Yellow Tattoo Lady: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia did not initially see the men burst through the door, but Khellek brings her attention around. In order to get a better shot, she moves to behind Khellek. "Apologies, Khellek." she said to the scholar. It would have been better to get the elderly man out of harms way first but such was not the case. Drawing her bow, she nocks and fires several arrows at the man with the warhammer. 1st attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31 Critical!
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Upon reading what Khellek had written, Talevia nods in agreement. It was worth the risk, in her mind, to make sure that the book was the one that they were looking for or not. Rubbing her ears, and making strange faces by moving her jaw, in an effort to dispel the deafness, she walks over to where Khellek is sitting. "CAN YOU READ IT?"
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia was expecting some sort of loud noise to come from the little door in the floor, but not shower of glass. Fort save Vs Sonic: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 At the same time, she felt the tingling in her body spike up. "Not..now..." she hissed, summoning her strength of will to keep her body from turning into a puddle. Will save vs Puddle: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

"I have no such spell nor item that can silence a spell." Talevia added, wondering if such an item would be good to add to her equipment at a later date. "Although cacophonous moral denunciation doesn't sound all that dangerous. A spell that would scream at us for trying to break and enter? It might be a warning to something else in this complex. Those dogs that we were warned about perhaps?"

"That looks far too obvious as a place for the book." Talevia said, gesturing towards the northernmost lecturn. "Still this is a library." She started to walk around the room, slowly looking at the volumes of books in the shelves. Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Will Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 Made it Talevia could feel the tingling spread through out her arms and legs, and she uttered a soft prayer to Erastil for strength and willed her body to remain solid. She takes the quiver with the black fletched arrows, curious if there was anything special about them. "We should move on to the Library."
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia flexed her fingers. They still felt odd, the lingering effects of whatever the Chaos Beast hit her with. "We should check the bodies. We are not the first ones here, perhaps they have some clues or information with them." She flexed her tingling fingers again. "And I may be loathe to admit it, we may need whatever valuables they have to pay for a recovery spell for those of us that Chaos Beast hit. Whatever it was, the effects linger."
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Her bow now in hand and ready, Talevia nocked and loosed several arrows at the Chaos Beast. Shot 1: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
The Longsword was not going to cut it, Talevia decided. They needed to be rid of this creature quickly and she was better with her bow. She stepped backwards, sheathing her blade and drawing her bow. Shot 1: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
The Chaos beast hit hard, Talevia could feel a softness in her ribs. Then that softness spread and she watched, horrified, as her own body, and those of her closest companions began to melt. "Erastil give me strength...." she muttered, willing the melting change to stop. Will check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 Talevia managed to pull herself together, and moved a few steps away from the creature, raising up her buckler to protect herself. "Can anyone hurt this thing from range?" she shouted.
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
The plan to distract the Chaos beast had not worked like she had hoped, and Talevia was now getting a very up close view of the creature. It was too close for her bow which meant sword and buckler. "Khellek had said brute force..." she said, bringing her longsword about to attack. First attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
AC is 25
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia noticed the Chaos Beast start to react to the partys running past and was conflicted. They were trying not to harm the creature but there was no guarantee that it was not trying to harm them back. "Erastil guide me." she said as she moved closer to the door and then up onto the edge of the fountain. She didn't want to provoke the creature so that meant keeping the bow stowed away. Instead she drew her longsword. "Everyone run! I will try and draw its attention!" "Hey! Over here!" she shouted at the Chaos Beast, banging her sword on her buckler, hoping the noise will attract the beasts attention.
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
"If there were only one door in the Atrium, I would suggest that we try to save our strength and not fight the creature." Talevia said, thoughtfully. "There are too many doors leading out of the Atrium so I don't think that we will have any other choice but to engage." "My talents are with the bow but I can take the point with a sword if necessary."
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
"Khellek! Doodle! Get out of the room!" Talevia shouts as she readies her bow. "They might be triggered on your movement within the room." As much as she disliked the idea of risking Doodles safety, or anyones safety, she really didn't want to fight these things if it could be avoided.
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia, having checked over her own equipment and gear, followed the others to peer through the next door. "This is a very odd scene. Why are those constructs there, seated around a table? This room would not make for a very good combat space, should things come to that." She glanced around the room once more. "Which door do we head towards?"
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia takes a seat, took some of the tea, and listened. Khellek was asking good questions and the answers were...enlightening. "So as I understand what you are saying..." she started, looking up from her tea. "You are caretakers of this property, cleaning up after the groups of mercenaries who are trying to retrieve your Master's book. You do not assist those seeking the book, nor do you hinder them, merely facilitate the challenge. Is that correct?"
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia had begun to relax somewhat as they started to walk along but upon seeing the state of this new room, that calm was replaced by a more cautious wariness. Was this a trap? Her pace slowed, as Talevia lagged behind the others. If something were to happen then she would need to be able to cover the others with her bow. Kyra asked the question that she wanted to ask so Talevia waited to hear what the answer would be. Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia looked over at Doodle and gave her a surprised look. Being invited in to the manor, or rather castle, and provided with refreshments was unexpected. Pleasant, but unexpected. She walked swiftly to catch up to the others, her eyes sweeping their surroundings with an experienced ease. "We are grateful for your hospitality. I must admit to being somewhat surprised by it. Do you often entertain Pathfinders in this manner?"
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
The woman who had introduced herself earlier as Talevia Windthorne sat silently as the Venture-Captain had gone over the details of their assignment. Mentions of 'Stealing' provoke an odd twitch of distaste in her expression which was followed by a hand touching the symbol of Erastil that she wore around her neck. She looks around at her new companions. "I have no further questions.
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia steps forward, thankful that the conflict was over, and hopeful that she can find some new clothes to replace the ones that were spotted with cinders during this quest. "People of Crystalcrag. Our new friends." she starts in a friendly tone. "Tygoras misguided rule is at an end. Your councilor, Glaheri, has been freed and is no worse for the captivity. Now is the time to heal any rifts that have opened up in the shadow of Tygoras reign for Crystalcrag is once more a place for both Earth and Fire kin." "And it is the hope of the Pathfinder Society that your gates will no longer be closed to those beyond your borders. There is much that we can learn from each other."
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia watched her companions dive through the wall of fire that Tygora had case and was determined not to be the only one left out. She ran forward through the flames, using an arm to shield her face from the flames. "In the name of Erastil, your reign ends here." Talevia shouted, skidding to a halt and nocking an arrow to her bow. "The Oreads and our companions shall go free." Casting Smite Evil on Tygora
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
Talevia, out of instinct, stepped back from the wall of flames, to stand on the other side of the open doors. She lightly touched a necklace bearing the holy symbol of Erastil dangling from her neck and confidently spoke aloud, calling upon her divine patrons power to heal her companions. "By Erastils grace, we will not fall while this community suffers." Channel Positive Energy: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4) = 10 That should catch everyone hit by the wall of flame

Talevia still held her bow low, and several arrows clutched close. Her eyes darted about the room, looking for any threats beyond what was obvious in front of them. Using Detect Evil on the Efreeti "Tygora Cinderfury. I am Talevia of the Pathfinder Society. My companion Lem has delivered our terms. We would rather resolve this without any unnecessary bloodshed, but as our actions can attest, we are able to respond in kind if provoked. I'm sure that some mutual agreement can be reached. Talevia moved up to the edge of the doorway and nocked an arrow in her bow. She loosed her arrow at the Ifrit Woman. That was a warning. Stand down and we will not harm you. she shouted, trying her best to sound intimidating. Casting Detect Evil
Human Paladin 6 HP:19/49 AC:22 (25 Hasted)
With the flames on her person put out, Talevia turned her attention back to the fight at hand. She drew out three arrows and, in rapid succession, nocked and fired each one at the monster that August and Jarlaxle were fighting. attack 1: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
