Dotting, I've got a bard I've wanted to play for while but it seems we already have two so I'll have to think something else up.
Unfamiliar with the system but I love Warhammer so I might try to come up with something. Definitely dotting for now though.
I'm definitely interested, I've had ideas for a sea shanty pirate bard idea brewing for a while now that I'd love to play. If y'all end up doing gesalt I'd probably throw in some martial prowess in there some how.
PM sent, I have some questions for you as well.
Not all that familiar with FATE, but I do love some good-old-fashioned battlemechs. Dotting.
Dotting.
I have two ideas for characters, both relatively vanilla compared to some of these I've seen but whatever.
One of them is probably one of my favorite character's I've made that I haven't gotten to play yet, and he was made for a very similar campaign premise, although at a much lower power level. He was a Scottish highland-inspired Dwarven war bard (bagpipes ofc).
I might also submit a natural weapon focused Master Chymist build, I've loved that prestige class for a while.
So I have an idea brewing, but I want to double check some race and class approval before I start number crunching and the like.
I was thinking a Deep One Hybrid Warpriest of Cthulhu with the Cult Leader Archetype. There's definitely some weird stuff (Cthulhu worship and weird races) that I wanted you to sign off on.
Dotting!
I was thinking maybe grippli of some sort since I have a soft spot for them, but I forgot they were based off of tree frogs and not more aquatic frogs. Still might submit something if the inspiration strikes.
Can I throw my hat into the ring? I've been kinda busy so I'm definitely interested in slower paced stuff.
As far as characters go I was thinking possibly a goody two-shoe bouncer who somehow got wrapped up in all this, probably from a military family. (that is, if there is room)
I'll try, but it's finals week and I've been super busy. (I should be fine, just letting y'all know)
Oh, here's the links to the 2eREUP rules, as well as other rule docs for the system. The ones we're looking for are pretty far down the page, but they're there.

Currently I'm thinking either a tech specialist or a heavy gunner, but I'm versatile and I'm willing to fill in whatever gaps we end up having in party composition.
I'm in the game with thedmstrikes as well, I'm definitely interested whether or not that one ends up restarting, I'm don't have many PbPs running atm.

Well, I've got some character ideas brewing, we can talk about them once we move to the next step with this and I flush them out a bit more.

As far as races go, might I suggest the Monkey Goblin or maybe a homebrew version of the Kijimuna for your perusal DM? I don't know if I would actually play either of them, just want to know if they were options.

Well I need some more PbPs, and this setting seems interesting though I've never played it. Count me interested.
Hi, this seems interesting, any updates? I´m interested in playing and maybe running for one or to other players, though I have not run a PbP before.
Should be good, still got some work to do tomorrow though.
Yeah, I'll probably finish most of it this Saturday but I'll be ready by Sunday.
I'm chugging along, school just started back up so I've been busy with getting back into that. I just choose specializations to differentiate things from a character standpoint and add some variety.
So, with the Noble Birth advantage that would be 7,000 credits, is that without starting equipment I assume?
Alright, that makes sense now. What is the native species of this planet? Alternatively, what species could be nobles on the planet? Also, are we using advantages and disadvantages. If we were, I would probably just take the noble birth advantage, and possibly a disadvantage.
As far as starting credits/equipment goes, I'd assume he is "Wealthy," but it's up to you. As far as starting equipment goes, does the "Arrogant Noble" template starting equipment work? ( Several changes of clothing in the latest styles, hold-out blaster (3D), one melee weapon of choice, personal landspeeder).
Can I get some clarification on character creation? If you choose to be a alien (like the Gammorean example above) does that stand in for your character template, or do you get both? The blank "Gender/Species" tab on the character template leafs me to believe that you can pick a race in top of that, but both the templates and races have predetermined attribute die scores.
Also, I think I'm going to go with the noble idea instead of a droid.
Where can one find the ruleset for this game? Is their a SRD, or do I have to acquire docs through.... other means?
As far as a characters go, once I can get my hands on the rules I'll read up on PC Droids, but I'm also considering playing a Marquess, the son of one of the former Dukes of Hijantis
Never played the system but love star wars and I've played some SW Sagas.
I've read a bit of the humblewood setting (and played a fair amount of 5e) and really liked it, I'm interested in playing. I don't own the book or pdf though, so if you could send that to me that would be great.
I'm a bit late here, but I might be interested if one of my current recruitments falls through. I'm new Psionics, but I'm definitely willing to learn.
Ouachitonian wrote: Would you allow multiple submissions? I’m a bit surprised that more people aren’t playing monsters, I’d thought that lame would be crowded. I like Othniel, but I’d also be interested in submitting something a bit more off the wall. He's said yes to multiple characters, If I have time I'll be submitting a monstrous second character.
Also, what's the deal with equipment? I may've missed it, but I haven't seen anything.
As far as guns go, it looks as most modern firearms would be available, but between those and advanced firearms I still don't see any semi-auto pistols (i.e. M1911) Are those a thing? Also, is their a version of Wrong Turn for standard fantasy people? Crossroads has openings randomly everywhere, so it makes sense that that could happen.
So, I was thinking about making a Lycanthropic character, and it would be a lot easier to just use the Lycanthrope template, rather then using the monstrous creature rules. Permission to do so?
I'm thinking either a earthling bard who wandered into crossroads, or some kind of monstrous brawler (or both). Either way, here are stats:
Stat #1: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 5, 2) = 12 = 10
Stat #2: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 1) = 12 = 11
Stat #3: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 6, 6) = 19 = 18
Stat #4: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 2) = 9 = 8
Stat #5: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 2) = 16 = 14
Stat #6: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 1) = 6 = 5
Well, that's around a 13 point buy, so I guess 20 point buy it is.
Still have room? If so, this seems super interesting so: ⚫
Does that account for my lvl. 6 Cohort?
I still haven't really figured out how bloodlines work from a mechanical standpoint, but I'll just roll like everyone else.
Derivation: 1d100 ⇒ 85 If I'm reading this correctly, Azrai. (My character is Anuirean)
Strength: 1d100 ⇒ 68 Major? I think? Just Barely?
Ability: 1d100 ⇒ 53 Heightend Ability (Intelligence), so +2 INT
Two questions:
What's the plan on leadership? I get a 6th level Cohort and no followers.
By the amount of gold we are supposed to have earned by 5th level, I assume you mean the 10,500 gp on the Wealth by Level table?
EltonJ wrote: No. Mine was devised for the Vos, and was a carry over from the Conan RPG (d20 system). Kenneth's is different, but I think I can give you a skills conversion. Probably tomorrow.
Sounds good to me.
EltonJ wrote: Steffanio wrote: Is there a pathfinder version of the Noble favored skills? I'm not familiar with 3.5e skills and their pathfinder equivalents. Also, how do you want Born to Lead (leadership) to work? Should I make a Cohort or will you? There are like three different noble classes, so I'm confused. Which noble class are you wanting to play? This one.
Is there a better one I should know about?
Jereru wrote: I managed to get the crunch done here. I'll try to have the fluff ready this evening.
Man, editing this from the mobile was such a pain in the arse. Anyone knows how to edit aliases also from the mobile?
As someone who does this on mobile half the time, from what I know, there isn't a way to edit them. There used to be, but I haven't been able to find it recently.
Is there a pathfinder version of the Noble favored skills? I'm not familiar with 3.5e skills and their pathfinder equivalents. Also, how do you want Born to Lead (leadership) to work? Should I make a Cohort or will you?
Based on the location, is there a particular tribe/family I should be from?
So, I'm currently thinking about running the bored third son of a noble, the noble class seems interesting to me.
Dotting, unfamiliar with the setting, Is there a few pages on the wiki specifically we should read, or just browse it?
Ok, now that online finals are finally over, I can actually do PbP. I'll be following them.
Not very good perception on my part, so probably not going to notice much. I'll just use my lions scent ability to track y'all.
Yeah, #2 sounds fine.
Character Update:I've been super busy with school coming to a end, but I'm almost done. It sounds like y'all are going east, so I'll have my character be there, at meet you on your way.
GM wolf, did you see my PM about mounts?
What's the deal with NPC's? What level are they, and what classes have been claimed?
Also, a DM coming your way about mounts, GM Wolf.
GM Wolf wrote: Steffanio you still around?!? Yes indeed. I just need to do equipment, then port everything from the sheet to my alias.
GM Wolf wrote: I would stick with the template, but no one has taken the boarding of pleaded light. Yeah, that's what I'm going to do.
