Having no idea what happened, Sorin swings her staff at the darkness hoping to connect with an invisible target. for
”Behind the shield” calls Sorin as she is about to leap but slows her charge as the elemental crawls from the earth. Looking back and forth, she decides maybe if she can stop the wizard goes down maybe the elemental goes with it.
Sorin attuned herself to the room listening for the slitest sound to give away the position of the wizard. Up hearing it, she whirls around and throwing a dart at the spot she heard. for
Sorin remains cautious and vigilant.
Sorin cautiously enters the room, staff held in a defensive position in front of her. Looking around, she is sure they cannot be alone.
Sorin watches the rear trying to remain alert to other dangers though seems to be slightly distracted by the action at the door.
As simple as it is, Sorin cannot refute Kraz’s logic. ”I agree. Let’s get moving and out of this acid.
Watching from the safety of the corridor, Sorin is impressed with the ingenuity of her companions. As the canoe swings her way, she slides quickly underneath deftly falling in step with the others.

Sorin leans comfortably on her quarterstaff waiting to see what the others do. Hopeful that Jack or one of the others can figure out how to deactivate this trap.
Sorin reflexively jumps back into the hallway as dangerous liquid begins falling from the ceiling.
”It’s not like we plan to parley with this wizard. An aggressive approach would not be unwarranted besides ruining any sense of surprise. Something tells me though that we will not surprise this drow.” Sorin prepares to call Torm’s wrath down on the wizard should she see him.
”Good catch Jack.” Looking at Nilelane, ”Easy there lady, don’t get carried away.” Ready to move in further
Sorin scans the room and tosses a few bunks looking for anything useful.
With the likelihood of not finding anything, she continues on to the stone door ready to move to the next area.
After her prayers, Sorin prepares for the oncoming fight with a series of martial maneuvers to keep her muscles loosened and ready for action. As we move into the next room, she lets Jack and the larger companions lead the way.
Sorin nods. ”I do not fear the two drow men that escaped. I think Jack’s warning will ensure that they will not return anytime soon. I believe we are safe from the wizard for at least a short while. Let us rest and help these poor souls before moving to secure this network as we were originally tasked.”
Readied action, if the Drow comes closer, she attacks.
Sorin simply moves to the side to keep the drow from flanking them. Keeping a calm demeanor. She never had any belief that the drow would honor word. Keeping the ruse going long enough for the drow to get away from the rope is her main priority right now however. ”I promise safe passage.” “at least until you’re closer” her thought continues. The lie coming easily to her lips. She had no qualms being false to one’s such as these.
Holding up the telescope inquisitively. ”My Temple Master has one of these. What use do Dark Elves have for looking upon the heavens?” She takes the potion from Nilelane and thanks Beerg for his prayers.
”Do these allies of yours know we are coming?”
”I have to agree with Nilelane. Even if he telling the truth now, he could choose to betray us at any moment. We can’t take that chance.” Sorin moves around and begins taking off the drow soldier’s boots. She intends to tie his ankles together with a short piece of rope keeping him being capable of running very fast if at all. Besides, you never know what someone might be hiding in his boots. She is also careful not to get mule kicked while doing this.
Checking the bindings for tightness ”What are you doing down here? Why venture so close to the surface? Why are you releasing wild quagoths into the outlying caverns? Your answers may help determine what our next move with you will be. ”
Sorin moves behind the drow and with strands of rope begins tying his hands behind his back. ”I’m afraid you will have to answer for what you and your ilk have done here. You should start by answering my friend’s question though. ”
Sorin winds up to to strike the priestess with her staff when the elf collapses under her allies missiles. Glancing at the two briefly out of the side of her eye she then quickly closes the gap between herself and the remaining drow.
“Good try Nilelane, excellent take down Kraz. ” for
Sorin pulls forth another flask of red liquid and holds it as a toast toward Jack. ”Bottoms up” Smiling, she adds ”I better get in there.” Sorin then heads into the large cavern taking cover behind the illusionary boat and getting a first hand look at the incoming battle. Torm would approve.
Looking at Jack, ”Apparently, we have found exactly what we were down here looking for. The downside is, they seem thave beenexpecting us.
Sorin, after hearing the news of the next room stops and digs through her pack. Producing a healing potion, she then quafs it. She then begins a prayer to Torm for strength in the upcoming battle. She includes all who are willing and interested in this prayer.
Sorin moves over to the remaining enemy and drives her staff down hard. Following the weapon strike, she leaps into the air kicking the creature on the side of it’s face.
Sorin hears her companion and follows orders. Dropping into a low stanc, she use Beergs attack as a distraction and strikes out twice at the target of his attack. for
If the target Beerg is attacking falls, she will continue her attacks on the other target.
Sorin heats the shuffling of boots, but not soon enough to warn anyone. So instead, she tries to intercept the would be attackers in order to mitigate any advantage they may have on her friends. Sorin dives into a roll toward the figures on the right, striking at both with her quarter staff.
Upon reaching the other side and after assuring they were not under attack, Sorin turns to the others. ”I hope we were able to do enough damage to that horde. It is hard to say where they are heading, but I’d hope to not be in thier path again.” She scans the are on the opposite side of the bridge.

With no where else to go, Sorin will stand her ground hoping to withstand the initial rush from the creatures. ”Kraz, Beerg, we must hold the line or we’ll be overrun.” She steps in front of Nilelane with her staff in a defensive position and calls to Torm for strength.
Although a glorious death would please Torm, a pointless one would not. Sorin chooses the better part of valor and tells the others ”We must pull back or be over run, does anyone have anything to slow them down?” Knowing Jack is fast enough to get away, Sorin begins to usher Nilelane away from the intersection.
Sorin says concerned. ”Rouse the others. We may need to move away from here quickly. I will see if I can tell who or what is coming. “ After a quick prayer, she heads toward the entrance.
Sorin dhakes her head in wonder at Nileane’s strange behavior while moving her off of the cinders. The monk does what she can to help the others with finding a location to rest as well as guarding as we do.
Sorin considers it for a moment. ”Perhaps a rest is appropriate. We can wait to see if this bridge will come down or not. If it does then invisible and disguised, we may be able to gain entry.”
