I have had maybe a dozen characters over the years with either acid splash or an element changed ray of frost on tap for just such an emergency, and Skarn is the first one ever to get to use them effectively for this purpose!

Alright! I took Scouts to Ohio this weekend (we're in Virginia), to watch the eclipse. I'm back, and ready to save the world!

I have Escape Route, and lots of allies around, so I can move back without provoking or needing to withdraw. I can’t hit red from there though, green then.

Unfortunately, I can't cast multiple acid orbs in Pathfinder in a round, or I'd stop more of them regenerating. For now, I'll use them on any troll that is down (primary) or inured (secondary). You guys knock them down, and I'll keep them down with acid.

Skarn will step back far enough to not be threatened by a troll, and he fires off an acid splash at Green...

Acid Damage: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Skarn will PA and charge the nearest troll that one of his buddies is already attacking...

Move: Skarn reaches out and grabs Trox. He then uses his Dimensional Hop ability and transports the two of them "behind" the giant, so that a 5' step for each of them will get them to it.
Standard: Cast Divine Favor (+3/+3 Luck)

Is that 15' of movement? So it uses up 30' of my Dimensional Hop ability for the day.

So, ummm, a move action to climb allows you to move 1/4 your speed in distance, but you can do that twice a round, correct? I have a 40' movement speed. I can climb 10' per move action. I can thus climb 20' in a round. That should put me up the full 15' in a single round, correct? Or I can take 2 rounds, and do 2 rounds of casting along the way.

I hear that, but Skarn doesn't consider himself the brightest bulb in the box, and Reynard said his plan is better. Reynard is a smart guy, so Skarn figures his plan is the one to go with!

Forgot about stowing my shield! With that, I can take 10 and make it up in no time. Throw down a buff, bane, etc, and start smoking that giant. Killing giants is what Skarn does best.

Anyways, she had a spell that needed a diamond worth a thousand gold pieces to make the spell work and heal a compatriot. So, she gave Chert and me the thousand gold pieces, and off we went to the diamond dealer. This was in Magnimar. Anyways, so the diamond dealer there turned out to be a dwarf too, and he would sell all of his wares for 5% off to fellow dwarves. He had a nice shiny one worth a thousand, and we went to pay him, but he'd only take nine fifty for it, so what did Chert and I do? Right! We drank the rest! Took the diamond back to the Cleric, and for the life of her, she couldn't get her damn spell to work. She was never that good of a Cleric to begin with, to be honest."
