Roger, I'll take the 55 damage option. Skarn swings away at the giant he is toe-to-toe with. Heavy Pick +1 Hit: 1d20 + 11 + 4 + 2 + 2 - 5 ⇒ (18) + 11 + 4 + 2 + 2 - 5 = 32
Heavy Pick +1 Hit: 1d20 + 11 + 4 + 2 + 2 - 5 - 5 ⇒ (1) + 11 + 4 + 2 + 2 - 5 - 5 = 10

Skarn will cast keen edge on his pick. And use a free action to active the following Judgements: Judgement of Sacred Protection - +2 to AC Sacred
And then I'll move 40' closer to the foes.

"just stay out of it. Alright, come clean, tell us what you know, anything might help, and we'll let you live, dwarf's honor." Skarn threatens them with his weapon as he speaks.

Skarn plants his heavy pick firmly into the ground, eyes narrowing as he glares into the swirling fog. His voice booms across the clearing, carrying both authority and threat. "Enough! All of you, emerge from the fog at once! Every hand raised, and no one moves a muscle! Cease all hostilities immediately!" He steps forward, pick in hand, making it clear he means business, scanning the mist for any sign of movement while giving the rest of the party a clear signal to hold their actions.

Knowledge (nature): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17 +3 to identify creature abilities and weaknesses Ok, that's a 20, so in addition to what they are. I'd like to know any special abilities and resistances they have. Are any buffs still up from the last fight? "Hold fast and buff up," Skarn suggests. Skarn will cast divine favor on himself (+4/+4), and make his weapon Bane (+2/+2 +2d6) against their type.

Ok Heroes, I head out to Scouts BSA Summer Camp tomorrow morning for a week. Wish me luck with that endeavor. Following that, it is family reunion at a State Park for the next week. If I pop in to the game, it will be quick, and not very substantial, so press on, and keep things moving.

Skarn Hornfels stands over the fallen giants and ogres, his chest heaving slightly as he catches his breath. A satisfied grin spreads across his face, though it's tinged with a bit of discomfort. "Ahh, now that was a good scrap," Skarn says, wiping some blood from his brow, "Always a pleasure to take on my ancestral foes." He looks down at the bloodied bodies around him with a sense of grim satisfaction. "But as much fun as that was, I could use a bit of patching up before we go on. I'm a bit too injured to keep this up without some help." He gestures to the gashes and bruises scattered across his armor and skin. He then begins to methodically search the bodies of the fallen giants and ogres, eyes scanning the surroundings with careful focus. "Let's see if there's anything worth the trouble of hauling out of here..." he mutters to himself as his pick taps against the ogre's body, looking for loot, weapons, or anything that could be of use to the party. "Hopefully something other than the usual piles of junk these creatures usually carry."

With only 2 Giants left, it makes more sense for Skarn to make normal iterative swings, in a full attack, and then get the hasted swing, so here it is! Starting with blue, and then purple, and if those two drop in one strike each, I can 5' step and attack that dog looking thing? Heavy Pick +1 Hit: 1d20 + 11 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 11 + 15 = 33
Iterative Heavy Pick +1 Hit: 1d20 + 11 + 15 - 5 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 15 - 5 = 26

I get +2 from it for “Fate’s Favored.” Divine Favor was declared here, by me. Oops, that should be +3, not +2. Possibly +4, due to Fate’s Favored? Why is Inspire Courage +4 at this level? It should be +2 at 9th level. If Bardsong is +4 (vice +2) and I’ve been using Divine Favor as +2 (vice +4), I should be using +26 to attack these giants, not +22.

Skarn was +6/+3 from normal, but with the Bardsong and Haste, he is +11/+7. His weapon continues to be Giantbane. So that is +13/+9. He will use Combat Expertise to -2 his attacks, and +2 his AC. So he is +11/+9+2d6, and AC 31. From where he is, he can hit the three opponents adjacent, so Great Cleave it is. Skarn will now execute a Cleave attack commencing with the one due west of him, and then moving around rclockwise: Heavy Pick +1 Hit: 1d20 + 11 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 + 11 = 40
If that hits, he attacks the next one... Heavy Pick +1 Hit: 1d20 + 11 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 11 = 25
If that hits, he attacks the next one... Heavy Pick +1 Hit: 1d20 + 11 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 11 = 27
If that manages to drop the oe north of him, I believe Skarn can take a 5' step NE and attack the next one... Heavy Pick +1 Hit: 1d20 + 11 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 + 11 = 39

Oh, right, no need for a Hasted attack. My two attacks can be my primary, and then a Cleave attack. So the first attack on the first ogre, and then the crit on the second ogre, and ignore the hasted attack completely. That second one wouldn't have the -5 to hit on it either.

Meh! I'm fairly confident in Skarn's ability to smoke this entire group of Ogres, and whatever those couple different ones are back there! With that said, rooms full of Storm and Cloud giants might need to be handled by a higher power than my poor cigar chewing drunkard!
