Okay thanks for letting me know about the json read. Thanks for your consideration, but I thought Silas was a bit too ordinary against the amazing stories of the other contenders.

Good Luck selectees!

GM Axolotl wrote:
I think you can export the file as a JSON but I had a heck of a time getting that to work anywhere outside of Pathbuilder.

You worked dark magics to get it working anywhere else? How? I put a couple of hours into it and got nowhere. Please let me know! Thanks.

Sorry it seems that imgur has deleted my portrait. I don't have a backup for it do to that Heromachine depends on Flash which has been disabled by Adobe. I'll see what I can do but my guess it will take a while.

I added this portrait to the appearance section of my character sheet and following this sentence for ease.

Silas Zan's portrait

I do get an extra language, I'll choose it in consultation with the GM if selected, Absalom being such a cosmopolitan place.

GM Axoloti wrote:
Looks good. I should have said that adding some reason why you think your character didn't get into the Pathfinder Society would be really helpful. :)

What would Silas think is reason or reasons why he was turned down by the Pathfinder Society? His goto, given his upbringing, would be for reasons of his social class and background. After all he was raised in a cheap dockside house of adult pleasures. It would not be the first time that was held against him. Another reason is that maybe they had enough or better clerics available and did not need him. There are more experienced priests and healers than him and his weapon is not really a good choice for his style of combat. He carries it for sentiment, reverence, and poverty than any other reason. Overall Silas lacks confidence in his societal position and in his unexpected boon of becoming a cleric. Also when he thinks about it, he is clever enough to think that this other offer might be a test of resolve and could result in acceptance later.

May I present Silas Zan, native born son of Absalom and Cleric of Cayden Cailean?
A young man with a troubled childhood and a belief that being chosen by Cayden has meaning that goes beyond doing cheap guarding on the cheaper dockside. Still he has to make a living.

This is was my first submitted build used in a PbP that was brief and ended tragically. But I'd like to play him again.

As to experience to Pathfinder 2e, little, though I have made a number of characters on Pathbuilder 2e.
Much PbP experience on these boards with Pathfinder 1e. General roleplaying game experience is quite large starting shortly after the premiere of Star Wars (the first one made) and lasting to this day with many different rpgs.

I will update the character profile shortly but this link to the character builder is brand new. Mostly updating the change where things like bandoliers, pouches, and scabbards are now just assumed to exist.

Silas Zan

Any questions or comments are welcome.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

My condolences as well. Though circumstance made his posts few he did them well.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Many people have, it's claimed to be fixed but he needs to clear his Paizo cookie out. New ones are needed and the old ones interfere.
Hope that helps.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas agrees. "Iandra, help me get the door open quickly without damaging it, much."

STR: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 pry door open.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Thanks for all your good wishes and prayers. My niece continues to slowly improve she may be able to return to work by spring. I'm a little under the weather for now, winter is not so good for me.

Also thanks to you Elisdriel for jogging my elbow, and I agree that for next year to be better lets have all the stupid and horrible things happen to fictional characters and the all the living have a great and blessed year.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Seeing that Elsidriel moves to be the watcher in spite of his protests, Silas goes to the window then looks to Iandra, "Ready? Let's do this."

Silas puts away his shield on his back and uses only his gauntlets. He goes up to the silt reaches up and bangs the gauntlets together trying to leave enough room for Iandra to reach up and smack anything that reaches out.

Not sure how to do this in P2ed rules. I'll make deception rolls. If his is grabbed he'll try to break free of course. Not sure what roll needed for that so I'm good with whatever you rule.

deception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 1 Fooling mindless undead is either easy or impossible, let me know.

deception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 2

deception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 3

deception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 4

deception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 5

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Sorry to have been away so long. It's been difficult for my family and all my attention has been elsewhere.

My niece spent weeks bouncing in and out of the hospital until the doctors could do no more. No further surgeries will be safe. Progress will be very slow at best, taking months to years or never to regain the health she had. Don't mean to be a downer which is much of the reason I didn't post this earlier. Lately however she does seem to me improving a bit, getting around on her scooter, and being a bit more active. So there is some hope for improvement.

I'm still monitoring this thread, so when you can resume I will eventually respond, still a PM to alert would not hurt, if possible.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas goes over the options for the group and then asks for everyone's opinion after giving his own. Silas says, [b]"I think I like the last option of luring the undead to a window and striking them there. We'll need to keep and eye out for outside 'friends', perhaps I do the drawing Iandra smashes with her hammer and Elisdriel watches our rear for any friend. I not sure what you can do Tothi, any ideas? Well, in any case, how's that for a plan of sort?

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Thank you for asking GM Fobok. My niece is doing better she is out of ICU and even the hospital but is now in an assisted living facility and will be for some unknown but long time. She is still very weak and vulnerable but that is much better condition that even a week ago. The family is still in a bit of chaos but hopefully that get sorted soon.

Sorry to hear you were ill, hope you recover fully soon.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

I'm still slow at posting right now. My niece has been in intensive care for two weeks now with outcome uncertain. I have been giving support to my sister and to my niece's husband and children at this time. I do want to continue but I'm very drained right now so posting will be light. The game should proceed as all see fit and I hope to return to a reasonable schedule soon.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

"Sorry Tothi isn't it, my bad, it's already been a long day, and longer night. I not sure what else we might do, so if you could climb and belay a line to help that would be great otherwise we take the door and hope we can win against wherever the door was barred against. Wait how high are those first floor arrow slits; not big enough to let anyone in but maybe we can see something?" Silas asks.

Silas stops speaking and tries to see if the height of the arrow slits is low enough that someone could peer in if standing on his shoulders.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

It appears that Toshi is staying with us a while so I'll write the post that way. By the way I've been under the weather for a while and my energy is real low. Proceed as needed.

Silas quietly conducts the ceremony, asking his god to put in a good word for the deceased to Pharasma, Mistress of the Boneyard.

Silas waves his hand as to have his friends take of the loot what they wish.

Silas looks back and forth between his friends who seem to want him to decide the fate of the late orc's stooges. So Silas says to the hapless orckin , "It looks like the last survivor is going to stay with us a bit. Not too surprisingly she doesn't want to be around anyone involved in her friends deaths. On the other hand it seem clear your late boss lied to you. So you get some of your basic weapons back and I suggest you make for town. Obviously if you follow us we'll take that badly, normally we'd take two more good warriors as yourselves but we can use a the- errr. helpful artist of getting into places where she is not wanted more. Best be on your way then. May the Holy Drunk guide and protect you on your journey."

Silas says, "I've a modest skill at climbing but I'm no expert. The door is clearly safer if we can open it without destroying it and if whatever in there is not too unfriendly. Otherwise we have rope, Toshi could you make that climb and lower a rope for the rest of us?"

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas says to Elisdriel, "Perhaps you could catch up Iandra, while I take our violent new 'Friends' to gather wood." Assuming that no one objects he says to Tothi, "Sorry to be abrupt but if there is anything of your companions you wish for yourself or their heirs let it be taken now. I'll see to the cremation with these ... warriors."

Silas goes to the orckin and says, "I believe your boss lied to you about his rights here, so how about you show you aren't murderers by helping us gather wood for a proper cremation? We don't want to add to the numbers of undead around here anyway." Assuming that they agree after not too much grumbling, he sets about gathering wood and preparing the area of the cremation pit.

Silas leads his group out to find the wood with his and their darkvision making it a possible task. The eerie land is near empty of life but many a dead or dying tree is about making gathering sufficient dry wood a chore but not excessively so.

I am making assumptions about what the area here is like, a bit of flavor that includes the helpful resource of lots of dry wood, therefore making building a large fire pit possible in less than days. Hope that is okay.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas takes the pouch, and reads the notes, at the first one he says, "Standard salvage contract, says nothing about exclusive rights."

He reads the other, and then walks to Elsidriel says, "Master, you'll want to see this." Silas seems to be playing up a bit for the others.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas lets Iandra continue with the halfling and answers the half-orc. "I hadn't heard of any exclusive deals involving this offer, I suspect your boss overstated matters but I'll see if anything is on him."

Silas searches the late mercenary half-orc boss for anything he has on him, collecting valuables, and checking for any documents.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

"I seems that I have a bit to learn about calling forth miracles. Not done it much yet."

Silas, hearing what the halfling had to say, asks the other two about it. "Okay you too, tells us what was the problem, what did they do?" Silas looks at them, waiting for their explaination, expecting lies but willing to hear them out.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas looks around as Iandra and Elisdriel deals with the others. He nods as the elf offers aid to the orc-bloods. Looking towards the them he says, "Any other weapons you have? We want to build trust but these bodies give us some concern, so that will take a little time." Silas waves at the bodies.

Raising his voice, he addresses everyone, "Anyone that needs healing let me know. I can help." Silas looks around expectantly, feeling his minor wound, and seeing blood on Iandra. He's not sure about the halfling or her captors.

This may take several round to set up, depending on how hurt the npc's are and what the do, but I'll do the 3 action heal to patch Iandra and Silas up and anyone else within the 30' emanation; if any undead are in that zone they will not be happy. I'll put the scene here to save time.

Silas, after making sure that everyone that want it it withing 30' of him calls upon the power of his god to bring healing. Grasping his wooden symbol of a tankard, chants a prayer, "Generous Lord, we beseech thee, bring your blessing of balm upon his that your will is made manifest in this world." The tankard bring to glow with a golden light and it pour out looking like the overflow of a head of a fine beer. The scent of drink and homey foods fill the air bringing memories of good times and camaraderie to all hearts. The glow flows to every wound and they start to close and the pain rinses away. When complete it all vanishes as abruptly as a dream upon awaking.

After a beat, Silas asks, "Is everyone good now?"

Heal: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Well that was anticlimactic :)

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas considers, "While I'm always open to mercy and adding to our numbers, is worthwhile, this collection of corpses is not giving me much confidence in their trustworthiness, their weapons down would be the first step in gaining trust."

I'm +5 for both of those, so I can roll for aid to Elsidriel

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Take the time you need GM Fobok, get well soon.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Sorry for post after post but I don't like edit that adds a new die roll, sometimes the forum gets confused and re-rolls everything.

Critical Success on Action 3 (mistakenly labeled Action 2) doubled damage so add 6 more damage and rapier's are deadly one dice 8 so:

Deadly Damage Rapier: 1d8 ⇒ 8

Also Hit Points 14/16.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

I read the rules and if I have them right with Liberating Step I have 3 points of damage resistance against the same type of damage that hurt me. (It''s not clear how long but I guess this round?) I can take one 5'foot step without triggering any AoO. If I step up(towards top of map) I'd be between Blue and Red and flanked but if Iandra also steps up we would flank Blue. Seems worth it.)

Silas with Iandra's inspiring defense sees the chance to move on the side of Blue and does so, taking the action to raise his shield then strikes twice at blue, if he is still up.

Action 1: Raise shield AC 19 but 17 to blue and red

Action 2: Attack with Rapier: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Attack to damage not disarm. Attacking Blue, unless he is down by then otherwise Red.
..........Damage with Rapier: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Damage if attack hits, type P.

Action 2: Attack with Rapier: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 Attack to damage not disarm. Attacking Blue, unless he is down by then otherwise Red.
..........Damage with Rapier: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 Damage if attack hits, type P.

Silas says, "Thanks!" to Iandra but lacks the time to say anything more.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Can't see what to change, I need to close to do anything and I don't have any actions left after doing so. Now I see that if I had Iandra wait a round and cast fleet step earlier then went a round later it would be different, also could have had weapon already readied but did not really think of it. But this is to be expected, new group of players, characters that don't yet know how to work together, and new rules. I need to block the path of at least one hostile so Iandra isn't having to take all the baddies alone. So I'm good with things as they stand and hope they aren't too tough for us.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

It looks to me that Iandra can get in front of enemy green(Mr. Green) in one action, and I think Silas can get to the square next to the down left of Mr. Green in two actions. I'll make my moves based on that. It it's wrong adjust as needed.

Depending on initiative the intention is that Silas follows Iandra (assuming she does move on Mr. Green), staying either behind her or to her left. Before he goes he readies his rapier for one action arriving armed but with no time to attack, unless the enemy closes first.

1d20 ⇒ 15 Not sure if you are using perception or stealth as the initiative modifier. so Per is +6 and Stealth is an amazing +0.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Sorry I got terribly sick Sat. and am still recovering. Hope to get the energy to post tomorrow.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

"Agreed, though I'll be beside you as well, Ellsdriel is there some spell you wish to cast on them or us before hand? Even drunk as they appear they will notice us very soon." Silas whispers back.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas shrugs and says, "I can try to sneak up on them, doubt it will work though, lets see the best way to do this."

Warfare Lore: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 How to best approach where the Half-Orcs are.

"You'll need to show me where to step to draw as little attention as possible."

Stealth: 1d20 ⇒ 3

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Grimly Silas observes the moving body, "I think we need to attack now, it looks like one of the bodies is moving slowly away from them, stopping whenever it might be seen. Could be a child or halfling or other small humanoid, but I don't think we have a choice." Silas looks at the others to see if they are willing to attack now.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas smiles and whipsers, "Okay then, Iandra do you have anything to add?"Silas starts weighing the options in his head while he waits Iandra's reply.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas mulls his companions conflicting views, "I understand your desire to just avoid them rather than confront or deceive them Iandra, but can we? We would have to go around a considerable distance not to be seen, the darkness may or may not help us as much as it hurts. Some Orc-Kin see in darkness as well as I do. I have no skill in not being seen or heard. I do have some in ... well, lying -" Silas mutters even more quietly, "- thanks to mother -"

Silas continues still quietly, "The idea is to fool them into a mutual agreement but there are indeed risks, they not agree and we lose any chance at surprise, they could agree and quickly betray us, they may see through our deceptions and attack anyway but Elisdriel's point that working with them would make us less goody in the eyes of miscreants is valid."

Silas shrugs, "Sorry to bore you with all that. Iandra's made a good point though as well, at this range while I see bodies around them I cannot be sure they are dead; they may well be captured. In which case can we abandon them? So what do we agree to? Do we attack with some chance at surprise? Do we leave them, and try to sneak around, with a good chance at being caught because of my clumsiness? Or close and try to make a deal and what kind?"

Silas pauses and then says, "Pardon my indecision, I favor just attacking if any captives live we save them and we clear our rear for a while but that too is a distraction from our goal."

Having given a third thing to do among three Silas waits to see if anything can be agreed on.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas puts up his hand to halt the party, whispering, "I see three people, look like orc-blood humans, dead bodies on the ground before them, seems they killed them. They don't sound very nice. It seems they have claimed this area for themselves. Do we try to go around them or confront? I can't be sure if they have any allies though I see no one else."

Can Silas tell anything about how they are armed or armored?

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas nods at the polite elf. Then sees the light in the distance and hears the sounds of people. He seeks to see about them and listens for any sounds that he may discern.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 Seek action with darkvision and listening. In Pathfinder 2 darkvision has no range limit, I simply see anything in line of sight as though brightly lit. Range modifiers a GM see fit. I'll only see in color though where there is actual light. For example what I can see in the range of the fire is in color but all else will be black and white. Of course the distance may be too great to see much detail. At least that's how i read the rules. Comments welcome.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas starts when the mysterious elf speaks for the first time since leaving the city behind. "Oh, you spoke. Caught me by surprise there. Yes, lacking armor could make you a target. But if something sneaks up on us perhaps one of us should keep an eye out for that. I should lead with my vision, would you mind being the rearguard, Iandra? That way you would be between us and less likely to be attacked first."

GM with three of us posting I suggest you proceed with moving us forward. If the others notice that this is active they can follow with posts. Let us know about what rolls you want as well.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

"Yes being local helps, and no the clients of this shop are rarely well off, goblinkind and such-like, many prefer the shadows, some because of their eyes, others ... because of not liking eyes of others on them. So standard rates usually , sometime less but they know not to offer such to me. After all I might be working for the person they borrowed it from. But we're good with each other mostly."

Later in the Cairnlands, "With this broken land and misty air, I'm already having trouble seeing colors well. You'll need to tell me if it gets too dark for you to walk safely, even with guidance."

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

I PM'd everyone else with this message to see if anyone else is still in this, hope that will restart this.

Hi,

GM Fobek is posting again in Eyes of Absalom. If you wish to continue please post if not please tell him so. Thanks.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas says to Iandra, "I know, whenever is good. And yes let us depart quickly, sooner out of sight, less chance of being noticed."

Silas says to the others "We should meet up at the Carrion Gate in within the hour, once we are all there we can go into the Cairnlands. I've rarely have had a contract there, and very briefly so I don't know much about it except that when it doesn't look dangerous, it's more dangerous."

Silas goes with Iandra to a weapon shop that is willing to service customers that prefer the night. He guides her through the dim-light street to a place rather foreboding only to those that can see without light, otherwise it has an eerie silence rarely broken with disturbing rustling. He makes the entry sign that he knows and quietly makes the needed transaction for Iandra. Then guides her away quickly careful to not draw a weapon but make it clear he is armed, ready, and watchful.

He meets up with the others and they head out into the nightmare lands of the restless dead. He keeps careful watch, saying, "I could make a light to guide you but I think that might draw to much notice. But if any wish it I will cast that cantrip on any one small item. I will not carry it, but go slightly ahead to keep my vision clear in the dark."

He is heading as best he can towards the place he thinks the tower is.

Please let us me know what if any rolls you want for this, thanks.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas shrugs and says, "Good ... lack of point there. To spare not much but I can live for a few weeks on some remaining silvers, here is my life saving such as it is." Silas spots Iandra a gold piece, the only one he has.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone! Have a great weekend too! For those that don't have Thursday as a holiday, have a great one anyway!

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas nods, "Either we trust each other or we fail before we begin." He shrugs. [b]"So yes the finding the fate of her cousin is a good start." Silas frowns, "Hmmm, fighting a lich? Body missing? That's an unsettling combination. We should take special care with this, how should we begin, if all are in agreement?"

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas inquires, "Pardon me, but exactly what do this titles mean, what are their duties? Do we know anything about their friends, foes, or those that are both in some ways? Anything else that may be useful that I don't know enough to ask?" Silas shrugs, "That last is unfair to ask but I know little of greatfolk matters."

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Sasha responds to Elisdriel, "I kinda thought that was what I said. As to stealing a communication the idea is not to be noticed. Best if it was merely read and returned so not to be missed. I gather our uhm, more illicit friends, are skilled in such."

"Pretending to be in service to the wicked is a option of course. If these conspirators check on us, they may check where we come from, some of docksiders know me, I follow the Divine Drunk, very few know of my recent boon. Still many followers are mercenaries, and if as Iandra says, tasks are not too distasteful, I could be just a bit greedy."

"Hmm, I hadn't thought of betrayal within us; I admit to looking for the better side of people. I guess the question is, for those who's loyalty is bought with coin; are you honest mercenaries? Do you stay bought? I certainly encourage all to stay on the good side, but a better argument is do you want devil law in this city? Hellknights are not known for going easy on criminals after all."

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Earlier, Silas smiles at Iandra and replies, "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."

In the tavern room, Silas frowns a bit, looking puzzled at Elisdriel, "Begging your pardon, mi'lord, but I am ... sure I do not follow your thoughts. An approach to the greatfolk might work with your status and skills, and we could be in your service. Or we could go the less law-abiding route and try to get evidence that way. I not sure what we would find though, the kind of conspirators I would deal with could not write anything down and I guess noble one would know better than to do so. Still I'm not versed in intrigue or in being unseen so I have little idea of what useful task I can do."

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Silas nods in response to Iandra, saying, "Yes, so I've been told, I only hope I can live up to his expectations. A priest of the Drunken God, mother would be so mad..."

After Goodman's Hugen's briefing, Silas agrees with the mysterious Elf's suggestion, "I think that wise we need to know something about each other if we are to work together. Once we leave here, if we accept, we can only depend on each other."

Once everyone is settled in the new private room, Silas opens with, "I said, what I can do, mostly earlier; I can fight, have a bit of healing skill, some spells, mostly doing with healing and minor tricks. Some have told me that I am good at listening to people and persuading them. Oh! And uncommonly, I can see in total darkness... mother was the kind of Elf with that sort of vision. Since I've lived most of my life on the docks, I suspect that is how the First Harbormaster came to hear of me."

Silas pauses a moment then says, "I feel that this -more than a job- must be taken, I think I see my patron's hand in this for me." Silas fiddles for a moment with his cheap emblem of a tankard. "But I'm not one to pressure anyone to take such risks. Very risky, risks. Who will join me? Oh pardon me that was too soon, please all speak your mind."

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

Yes, you were upfront about likely delays so just do what you need for your health.

As for earlier questions about the use of unofficial errata that is preempted by the release of the official errata. This is the link to that errata.

Please let us know if that is now allowed in this campaign.

Male Half Elf (Cavern Elf) Taldan Human Cleric/1

The young man, with eyes that betray his elvish looks, has been very quiet for now, looking a bit out of his depth here. But he agrees with Korso about he devils. "Devilry in the council, is bad, that it would return slavery to the city even worse." A glint of terror passes through his eyes for a second, fading as he continues. "I don't mind some danger, stopping or stomping trouble in the docks for pay is my trade, mostly stopping thievery. No offense meant." Silas makes a slight nod toward Korso while wondering if he seemed a bit familiar. "But ... this is politics, I haven't been to the Ascendant Court since Moth-" Silas breaks off then continues, " - for a long time. I don't think I'd fit in well, except as a guard or other servant."

Silas follows up, "Oh and I'm Silas Zan, mercenary and well now, since about a month ago ... I'm called by Cayden Cailean to work his will in the world; I guess you could say I'm an accidental priest now." Silas says the last as though he can't believe it himself.

Thank you for accepting me. I've changed the avatar, sorry I should have noticed that. It's not the best look but good enough when he wears a cloak. Anyway anyone can click on the link to my efforts at a portrait.

I've follow off and on for a while now your adventures in "Star Trek: Perdition's Flames" as Tobin Bell, an excellent series.
Hope that the illness situations for you and that group improves soon.
