Weee we did it!
My personal highpoint was probably the improvised pretend Eryines summoning using an altered poem from German history.
In hindsight, some martial Oracle would have fitted Sigrid better, to emphasize on beeing well, good at bluffing and going for hijinks, antics and shenanigians.
The scene of running away from the big evil antipaladin was also cool.
There is a bit of a mood swap from fighting these destroyer things to chatting with not leonardo da vinci.
Ideas:
--On the Empire base, have the party acquire an imperial intelligence assessment of the strengths, weaknesses and capabilities of the various enemies that the empire has, and whom the players could plausibly ally with.
--The intelligence assessment could be doctored by the party to get some "neutrals" on board by overhyping the threat the empire poses to them (there is a pretty good deep space night episode where Sisko and Dukat b!#@&%%* the Romulans into going to war with the Founders)

Sigrid channels to heal the party. Should any Kobolds rise she motions them to the door through which their comrades retreated.
She then casts protection from evil communual on the party and makes ready to open the ddoor unless stopped.
You can almost sense that she takes the front as penance, in a way.

Praise Ran they saw reason, I hate slaughter.
She kneels in prayer, saying something in Germanic.

Sorry for not posting more, I feel kind of bad about killing all these Kobolds, who, from their perspective, are just defending their land, I will probably express this in character once combat is over.
And happily pays the cost of 2000 gold. These items seem to be rather common, as they are apparently close to standard issue for riflemen, who often fire from prone and change positions rapidly.

Hmm, let me think. Sadly I have no magical means of making us stealthier. Have the Kobolds been participating in raids? What is known of their tactics? Only a fool invades without knowledge, or not takes serious creatures just because of their size.

Lets see if I can make the best and most plausible case for trial by combat
Our insistence on trial by combat, which as a matter of fact are less brutal then you may think, after all most such trials end with one side yielding in a wounded state rather then in death, is in part a deterrent to frivolous lawsuits.
In addition, if one makes suit, one needs to put ones own skin into the game so to speak.
Plenty of provisions are made for lawsuits by and against people who are combat incapable, and, if a case is seen as just, they may find it very easy to avail themselfs of the services of a champion who is willing to take up arms for them in the legal matter at hand. Sigrid recounts her tribes justice system, which she deems to be the least bad justice system she knows off.
The goal of our justice system is to prevent fracticidal civil wars, it does so in part by reducing a quarrel that could spark a civil war, and in which casulties could easily be in the thousands, into a duel where the maximum number of casulties is 2. I also wonder as to how bloodless verdicts against one party are actually to be enforced? If a party to a quarrel loses in a trial by combat, then they have seen that the victorious sides mettle exceeds theirs, and will likely abey terms. If one side loses, be it based on legal arguments or based on the judge being bribed, would they not be far more likely to resort to arms in the face of a hostile verdict, thus ensuring a civil war?

You may call me Sigrid. Wigs are a somewhat unusual concept for my people. And our lawyering frequently gets down to trial by combat, where detachable hairdos would be of limited utility. She replies to Mr. Adamson.
If we find its lair, we may be able to force it into a fight in a barell so to speak, where it cannot avail itself of its mobility advantadge. I fully agree that a ranged engagement would be folly.
I can increase 2ishpeoples protection from acid, but seeking to blind it may well be more effective. Sigri offers.

I am a big fan of stagger proof boots, but I dont think any of use got money, unless we want to sell the extra armors on the free market, which seems like a rather dubious idea. Sigrid cautions.

Some new spells (grabbed burst of radiance as a blas option, no idea if the imperials are actually evil in terms of rank and file, probably plenty of neutrals)

I f@**ing wish I had access to actual illusion spells. Blowing it up is not part of my capabilities sadly.
We have saved hostages, exfiltrated key equipment for analysis and reproduction, and we are not getting paid for murking the entire garrison, which I dont think we can do. If we can extract without being seen it would be great.
I can probably delay them a fair bit, and then use the armors mobility. Shooting them when they cant see me essentially. If they dim their lights, I will cast a light spell ahead of them, and then bugger off, while they will be hesiant to walk into an obvious place for them to get shot at.
