I hate to do this, especially after such a long unexpected absence, but I have no choice. I'm going to be moving(unexpectedly) and have no idea when I will be wired again. I hate to hold up the game so I'm going to bow out and wish you all the best. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience.

I might be wrong, but shouldn't I have gotten an OA vs the swarms when they moved in to attack me, because I have a reach weapon. I can't remember if thats the case in 4e or whether they changed it.
