Salim eyes the prisoner for a moment, “We could hold onto him for the time being. Authorities as well could be of use….” as he looks at the prisoner though you can see him thinking and killing over his thoughts.

As Salim is lifted into the air he looks around curious as to what caused it, once he’s on the roof he scowls. “They’re to far… nooo. We can’t let them escape.”

He points towards the injured ninja he hurt and sends 3 arrows of psychic energy at him.

Severely wounded now, he struggles against the pain and his eyes start to darken a little, he looks at both of the people with a vengeful look. “I warned you…” he lets loose a loud whistle before he steps back. Salim takes the time on the trip to relax and spends most of the time listening and engaging in little bits of small talk asking servants, or even some of the other members of the expedition where they’re from or what drew them to Kelmarane in the first place. Overall his mood is generally good, but as Katapesh comes into view he grows less happy. Eventually settling into a rather quiet and contemplative attitude.

Once in the manor he prefers to take a room on the second floor, near the meditation sands and spends an hour there at night simply staring up at the stars, he would draw in the sand some of the constellations he saw as well. In the morning he’d spend an hour there simply sitting and relaxing watching the sunrise.

You have to give me more about your backstory that you want to delve into. Did that all happen in Kelmarane?

Favors from local administration and or merchants; I’m not as familiar with Kelmarane but the goal being to get some sort of influence that may be useable in Katapesh or useable to to get influence in Katapesh.

As for information on his backstory it is mostly in Katapesh, though I had at start his last old friend from earlier; the merchant Bastam mention he might learn a little information in Kelmarane. This could prove to be false or true. Considering that spent time under domination and has trouble recalling it, it isn’t impossible he simply came out there for a simple task, or possibly even more.

Salim sits contemplatively and nods to the golaith's words and listens before speaking up after Vivi's short explanation.

Not exactly the highest of titles but it's a start, and can atleast get some kind of cover that believable considering who we are going to see."

Salim had entered the party in relatively simple clothes, a flowing robe of brown with a green head wrap to keep sweat and dirt away from his face. A slight shimmer of his cloak gives away its magic and on his head barely visible is a headband, with tunic symbols. Not enough to be readable but enough to tell it’s no mere ornament. However despite all this all he carries with him is a small dagger on his hip and a small stick sheathed as well, almost out of place compared to others that are more armored and armed.

He quietly follows the large Goliath into the library, wondering to himself what exactly he is getting into with this. As he slips in he can’t but help to mutter as the doors are magically sealed. “Oh all of us locked in here, that’s slightly concerning. Why all the precautions?” Just before Alexandria appears at the mantle, “What an ostentatious arrival.. he says backing up slightly.

Salim gives a thankful nod and a sip of the ale, “I believe his first name is Salim, we are somewhat close. I was curious if he came through at all…” , with that he takes a deep drink from the ale obviously tired from travel through the desert.

He leans back and gives a sigh, more from the rather low brow ale than satisfaction. Moments like this make him miss Katapesh.

After getting the invite Salim will inspect it and question the messenger slightly about why not after dark, or who sent it. He will endeavor to head there before dark however no matter the answers.

Salim will spend time doing the following, in order of priority.
- Administration: he would work to see if he gain some favors and a little bit of influence.
- Crime: Befriend some associates, mainly smugglers as they know more of what’s going on than others.
- Explore Personal Mystery: Look into what happened during his “tutelage”
- Establish a home in Kelmarane to live in, until he eventually returns to Katapesh.

Salim head to the bar and looks around the place is interesting to say the least. He feels slightly out of place having so little knowledge about the area and what’s going on. Getting to bar he sits down nearby the ifriti man and smiling man.

He asks politely An ale please, and a question of you have a chance. Have you heard of anyone with the last name Myr by chance?” as he says this he makes sure to put an extra coin with the one he had for the ale.

Salim woke up in his small camp not to far outside of town. He sat up and groggily packed up his things, catching the last glimpse of the night sky he looked up and saw the stars shining down. He smiled, speaking softly to himself “The lantern bearer, what a good sign. Maybe today will reveal even more then I could hope for.”

With that he slings his pack and heads out. Off in the distance is Kelmarane, Bastam had said that maybe some time outside of the city of Katapesh would help. The city had been liberated and the stars pointed towards it so he had traveled. He was excited to arrive today, he planned to head into town and see what it offered, a drink or two after the travel would be excellent.
