Thanks to GM Krash for running the game, and you boys and girls for being so nice while playing.

PFS number is # 19310-3 Grand Lodge Rutilus Pont

Rutilus pauses for a second, trying to determine what spell was being used by the red haired lady. Failing that, he steps closer to fallen paladin, but seeing that man is almost beheaded, priest understands that Derik has passed Pharasma's door.

May the Lady guides your soul. Let see if I can save others lives.

Rutilus approaches Boff from behind and casts Protection from Evil on him.

"What the hell? Since when did the robbers become so stupid and desperate?" - Rutilus asks loudly, with a smirk playing on his face.

Raising his holy symbol high, he steps back in between the fighter types, and performs a short incantation: "The Lady of Graves protect us all, and fill our cups with your blessings!"

Rutilus casts Blessing - Each ally gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.

If possible, I would try and position Rutilus to avoid any AoO, but if needed, here's the check Concentration: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Oh, I don't believe this! Not a single drop of booze since this morning, and still I'm hallucinating?!?

Raising his arms, Rutilus takes a good long look at his hands. Seeing they are not blue, he finally realizes it is a real world effect. "Probably some spell, a magical protection of sort...if I could just remember which one..."

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Spellcraft check in order to try and determine if he knows anything about the spell, effects and such...

Will save: 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 4 = 23 I am assuming it's a will save to disbelieve illusionary box, with additional +4 added for Eolowyn warning

Finally back. Sorry for being offline for so long girls&boyz, I had some serious issues related to identity theft attempt and such, as a result of burglary. Still unwilling to hurt the creature which has not been hostile to them, priest advances slowly, covering thoroughly behind his shield. He tries to touch the imp, hoping to make him sluggish enough so they could simply take the chest without harming him/her/it.

Rutilus just shifts his feet uncomfortably, but says nothing. In his mind he was trying to remember what he had available that could help them deal with creature of Cheliax. As could be expected, he could not remember any. So he just stood and waited, listening intently to Paracountess responses and trying to make some sense of it all.

@Boff - feel free to drop torch on the ground. Rutilus, who is not of much use in combat can pick it up and carry it either in his off/shield hand (if allowed, not sure if he can both wield the shield and carry a torch in left hand at the same time) or simply pick it up in his main hand, instead of the simple cudgel he uses right now.

Trying to suppress giggles, Rutilus slowly makes it after Markus and Boff. Instinctively, he reaches for his spell component pouch hanging on his belt, but then remembers that he did not pray to Pharasma this morning for the appropriate incantation. "Mhm yes, you know nothing about booze..." - feeling rather sheepish, priest almost did not hear the call from Derik. A huge barbarian orc is better with kids than you are. Way to go man! No wonder she left you...

Distracted, Rutilus was just about to leave when he notices how good rapport Boff managed to establish with kids simply with playing to them. Not trying to disrupt the game in any way, he simply adds: "Yes, as Boff here says, what's going on around in here?"

It takes one to know one, eh? - looking at Lady Baltwin, everything is almost spelled out for Rutilus. All the signs are ther, and they're almost unmistakable. Following the lead of his friends, he simply adds: "Yes, it would seem that you might use a bit of divine help."

Leaning closer to Lady Baltwin, he whispers: "Believe me, I worked in the orphanage before, I know how tough these little devils can be" - patting his pocket with the hip flask clearly outlined, Rutilus adds with a wink - "Thankfully, I found a way not for them not to be to loud"

The priest gives her a crooked smile, hoping his bluff will work.

Well, that went well...no Crusade for us today hehehe

Moving around with the rest of the group, Rutilus considers what was learned and shared by both Derik and Eolowyn. Well, if she buys a lots of whiskey that would make her more than OK in my book. Based on that fact alone, I'd be more than willing to testify on her behalf

"Now really guys, I am telling you again - it would help much more if you were to allow me to personally follow the trail of that whiskey. I mean, I agree that it would be really tough to have to visit several bars and taverns at this time, especially with such an important task at hand, but who know, I might learn something really important. I really can not retrieve any valuable information by asking random passerby's and halflings."

No, don't have her speak more of the Crusade. She will bore us to death, and I do not see any brandy within reach - trying to rectify the situation, Rutilus is quick to jump in:

"As the honorable Ser Derik properly noticed, is there a specific subject or avenue of investigation you would like us to proceed? Some hints, or something more than hints maybe?" - taking a moment to gather his thoughts, Rutilus tries to determine if there is something more, something behind this unusual request coming from Ollysta.

After all, if they needed to simply deliver medicines, they could have used one of many errand boys. There must be something more than this...

"No time to waste, eh elven lass?" - green eyed priest, betrayed by his obvious holy symbol, entered the room. A hint of a smile danced at the edge of his lips. He proffered his hand first to Eolowyn, and then to Derik and Marcus, and lightly patted half-orc on the right shoulder.

"Rutilus Pont, in the service of our Lady of Graves" - the tall, blue clad man stated matter of factly. Outside of that, he did not speak much. He simply stood near the doorway, half-slumped, his gaze wandering slowly around the room. He studied his room-mates with interest, all the while managing to look somehow disconnected, like he was not really there. He was a tall man, good looking, with dark hair and piercing green eyes and yet he looked distant in a way, reserved, although it seemed that it was not his first time here.

Prior to posting in General Thread, I'd like to rework my cleric to be at least a bit more usable to the party, since he was originally built with the idea of channeling negative energy and bringing undead creatures to piece with Pharasma.

Now, I am toying with the idea of taking Versatile channel, instead of Command undead feat, and my questions are the following:

1. If I take the Versatile Channeler feat, would Improved channel feat apply to both positive and negative energy channels? Reading the forums, I would say YES, but want to check, prior to deciding.

2. If I take the Versatile Channeler feat, would I be able to Spontaneously cast (convert) my spells to Cure spells also? Again, reading the forums, the answer seem to be NO, but...

3...if I actually understood everything correctly, I can decide for my cleric to be Positive energy channeler (so I can heal when needed by converting to heal spells), take Versatile channel and still be able to (at a later stage) take Command undead and similar feats, or hurt living creatures with my Negative energy (albeit at -2 CL). Right?

Rutilus here is a badly made cleric of Pharasma. Let me remake it quickly with positive instead of negative chanelling, change faction and I should be good to go soon.

I have done First steps 1 before, but with another PFS character. I will strive to do my best not to spoil any fun for any of the involved if choosen for the game.

For the fourth consecutive turn in a row, Rutilus continues to scrape the goo off of him, but mid-turn he changes his mind. He notices that the foul substance is becoming harder each second, and soon enough, he should be able to break free of it. He exerts himself, using all his strength, trying to break off.
