Sorry I think I'm the hold up.

Runk considers the clerics words. It's clear from his face he's not too pleased with either option.

"Give this a try." he says as he doubles back towards the prisoners room. Once there he looks at the man and asks, "You're a mercenary. What's your rate?"

"Doors are closed. Went that way." Runk says indicating the doorway they entered from while wiping a bit of ink from his cheek.

"See `bout that prisoner." he says leading the way back to the bedrooms they found earlier. Along the way he keeps an eye out for any doors that were closed that are now open or other signs of passage.

Runk advances while the woman casts her spell. Hopping onto the table and back off behind her.

Acrobatics to hop on the table: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

Not sure if she had a weapon in hand but if so she'd get an AoO. Prepare an action to attack her once someone is flanking.

Prepared attack:

Pausing at the door Runk listens for a moment. Stepping back he points to his ear and then at the door. Giving everyone a moment he opens the door.

Feeling they must be close to one of their foes Runk takes extra time checking and listening at the door.

Stepping through the hall Runk opens the next door and reveals the larger room they recently left. "There and back again..." he mutters to himself. Thinking for a moment he heads north past the doors to the temple and through the northern door where he heads west.

I believe we checked this door but didn't continue much past it. If he hasn't checked it he'll give it the usual look over.

Runk looks at the gnome a bit impressed. "Might come in handy." he says before heading back out and to the room with the cells. There he opens the Eastern door.

Signaling that he hears nothing Runk opens the door to take a look.

Runk repeats his usual process of listening at the door and checking for any traps.

If all seems quiet he opens the door.

My vote is burn them. It's a bit of a resource waste but I've seen one or two hit points be the difference too many times. I'd reather burn a bit of gold rather than lose a character (plus the wand is pretty loaded still).

Runk looks at the room in disgust, unconciously shying away from the torture equipment. When his companions catch up he says, "Nothing to hear."

Stepping to the door on the North wall he opens it once the party is set.

Curious, Runk waves the rest of the group over and slips through the door.

Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

GM:
Runk moves into the room with the cells and begins checking them one by one. If they're all empty He then moves to the two doors and listens at each, looking through any cracks or gaps that might be available.

The wand would work in combat as well and I suppose at our level is as good as spells.

Not sure where the tiger though is coming from (though perhaps I missed something). As far as I recall we have a wizard/sorceress to find and the demon-lady in charge to account for.

We could look towards the cave. I'm sure it leads out but not sure if there's a way to navigate the sea. That might take care of getting back in but would still leave the bad guys to react to our attack.

Back to the tiger topic, perhaps you're thinking of what I read as the wizards familiar...I was thinking more house cat sized though.

How do we stand resource wise at this point? I kind of feel like we're fairly committed at this point to pushing forward (both due to the goblins at our back and the loss of surprise) but I know we used a lot of our magical resources on the hounds.

Out of combat healing is covered by our wand but how stands all the rest.

While those with arcane abilities consider the dais Runk takes note of the door to the south that Kesten had exited and returned through. Walking that way he looks inside.

"Found the priest" the halfling states from the dais with a gesture to the ashes on the alter.

Runk gives the hound a swift kick when it finally hits the ground and flicks his sword to clear the worst of the blood off of it. Giving the rest of the party a quick look over and finding them all to be standing he makes his way over to the dais and looks around.

This time the blade sinks in with a satisfying "slurk" and sends viscous blood flowing down the halflings blade.

It's near Ziz. But that said it's a pretty hefty negative to use (exotic weapon and not bundled). It is only a touch attack though.

It was the ransuer off the statue rather than from the sin spawn, which I believe was MW. I think we checked for magic and it wasn't but could certainly double check.

As far as energy resist goes (ooc wise) Yeth hounds don't have any resists but these might be special Lamashtu varieties.

Quite displeased about his lack of effectiveness and now with being ignored Runk tries another option. Stabbing up at the creatures face he tries to set it up for a more punishing blow.

Runk frown at the hound that now flies out of reach. Looking down he sees the net that the creature so recently escaped from and desides an old idea is better than no idea. Picking it up and attempts to reensnare the creature.
