Huh? Is that it? It was fun while it lasted but I fully expected the basilisk owner to attack at this point! The basilisks feel like a loose thread...

Even Roumatha can't stay silent and stands up, clutching his wayfinder. "I'm far from a legal expert but isn't mutual profit the main purpose of a deal? And if so, why do we feel like we are obliged to impose tariffs and taxes going against this purpose? Everything is in our hands, right here and now, to set up the rules of this trade deal in a way that enriches both of our lands, so let us not pass up on this chance!"

I think we're playing as though the shark has already appeared but takes a moment before acting? Roumatha makes another sharp heel-turn and aims at the shark. He feels unsafe so close to it but wonders how this creature will survive without water around. Hunt Prey for a +1 AC and a free Recall Knowledge check (Arcana +8, Nature +7). On a crit success everyone gets a +1 circumstance to their next attack Nevertheless there is little time to lose so the half-elf keeps shooting. Roumatha nods at Sir Reinhart. "As an old Nirmathi saying goes, a noble spirit embiggens the smallest man." He is willing to take the chances and stands on a skipping stone, drawing his shortbow to start with. Is it just one reroll per combat or per round as long as I'm on it? if we get a prebuff round, Roumatha will cast Gravity Weapon on his shortbow.

Roumatha casts a sympathetic glance on the elven druid. "I too would have preferred some actual derring-do! But with Manny here, the stories should prove quite entertaining. Roumatha tries to wrap his brain around how such a seemingly impressive establishment could thrive on processing just one document at a time.
Having blurted out possibly the most three-syllable words per minute in his life, he grows silent and just quietly stares at Narsha hoping that she will at least appreciate the effort if nothing else.

Oh I didn't realize the Gameplay thread already has posts! "I don't speak Iruxi either", a rugged looking half-elf who hasn't shaved for weeks now answers. "Maybe that's why it was so easy to avoid any arguments with them so far. Really nice people from what I can tell. Unlike the gargoyles..." He adjusts a greatsword slung behind his back, and stretches. "That said, I would really prefer to go back outdoors. Never been much of a talker. Joint physical exercise is the best bonding."

Looking at the bonuses page, Plants Cut Down seems to be useful right about now. Can I invoke it? "Urrgh..." Roumatha says through gritted teeth as the wooden man tears through his flesh, however the sap in the wounds has no adverse effects on him for now. He just nods at Oskar healing his wounds before giving chase again. Normally I would need 3 strides to catch up with the Grimstalker through the difficult terrain. However if I can invoke Plants Cut Down, then I can make it in two strides, leaving a chance to Strike: Optional Strike, Cold Iron: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 9 + 1 = 22 for: 1d12 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 12 damage.

Roumatha rushes over to follow the Grimstalker. Despite the underbrush tangling at his feet, he manages to overtake it before turning around with another powerful swing. 2 strides should get me flanking with Oskar, and Strike Cold Iron Greatsword, Courage, Gravity, Flanking: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 9 + 1 = 28 for: 1d12 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 19 Ooh finally a nice roll! Roumatha looks around and sees Phillipton cut off from the group. He circles around the wall until the little fey is in his sight again, then assesses the threat Hunt Prey vs the little fey, +1 AC vs it and a knowledge check Nature:

Roumatha doesn't get too far before the sweet tunes of the satyr are cut with discordant notes of Oskar's power lute.

Roumatha suddenly realizes just how valuable Phillipton has been to the success of this mission. His own efforts at sword-swinging pale in comparison to the spirit of friendship and camaraderie shown by this modest cleric of Halcamora. But he must have spent all of his wine supply to get their enemies drunk! That will not do... Roumatha resolves to find the best-looking grape in all of Golarion for his friend, and do it right now, satyrs and leprechauns be damned! After all, this demiplane must have plants which cannot be rivalled by anything seen on Golarion... Confident in the Pathfinders' ability to handle the present situation without his involvement, he turns around and heads for the thickets, whistling the catchy tune that's filling the air around him. 3 strides away from this pointless combat towards what REALLY matters...

Roumatha has questions but no time for answers as he rushes headlong between the satyr and his little drunk friend, trying to knock some sense back into the goatman. "Tell you what, none of us really like it here, so why don't you just let us all go back!" Strike w/cold iron greatsword, Courage, flanking: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 1 = 13 for: 1d12 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 = 11 damage

Nice, getting some Kingmaker CRPG vibes here... I, the player, would prefer to help with the ritual, even though Roumatha would probably feel more at home on the battlefield "Wait, wasn't Gregaro Voth one of the original Pathfinders? That must have been hundreds of years ago... Incredible! But Blackthane is right - Qxal's servants were annoying enough back on Golarion, they must be much more powerful here on their own turf."
