As noone else seems able or willing to try his luck discerning the cause and time of death of the corpse, Robilar moves towards Haska with a smile.

"I suppose -and wish- that the medical knowledge transpiring from the deceased won't be of need in our next destination." says the doctor as he reloads his crossbow and waits for the rest.

Was waiting for others to try the Heal check, but I should have at least said it. My fault at least partially.

Robilar makes his way to the corpse with effort, and once he is beside it crouches to better inspect it.

The doctor scratches his head before muttering "Why do these never resemble the book's illustrations?..." befire standing up again and concluding "I don't have the minimal idea of how much time this man has been dead... it's bloated and all kinds of, umm, gooey. I'm helping my little sister move as of now, so can't access roll20 and see the map properly. If it is impossible for Robilar to shoot straight -even through cover-, move him so he can please. In that case he would reload nd move instead of reload and fire.

I was waiting on the Frogs before posting, you know, because it seems like I was picking a bugger when the rest sprung into action.

Robilar struggles to move before the door, from where he takes a look at the scene.
"We should have gone with my plan...." says the doctor as he takes a shot at the closest frog, firing between Ehlers and Jarif "Watch out!"

Already took cover into account, it was -4 if I am not mistaken

Robilar turns to Jarif with an inquisitive look "Frogs? Mmm... I doubt they are actual frogs, at least the garden variety. More probably resurrected ones." says the doctor as he inspects the door.

"The water appears to have locked it in place, which means we either break it or force it open. If you allow me, I'd propose take advantage of our beneficial position, crack open the door and throw one or two of this bad boys." he explains as he taps with love his bombs "Best case scenario, no undead frogs. Worst case, we eat roasted frogs."

Robilar patiently observes the imbibing process from behind, taking notes on a small piece of paper.
"Ummh... amm... would any of you be so kind as to explain how do you feel? Is it invigorating? Is it healing you? Does it taste weird?" he asks, not moving his eyes from the paper.

The aspiring doctor then proceeds to take a sip to taste the water himself. After nodding convinced, Robilar puts his backpack in the ground and takes out his iron pot, as well as his sewing tools and a bunch of leather straps.

"If you don't mind waiting, I will sew together these straps to... mmmmh... um... ah! To make a lid for the pot, so we can keep some fresh healing water in hand. I don't know if the water itself is healing or its power is related to this place, but in the worst case we'll have Kassen's Certified water to cook tonight."

If nobody objects, Robilar starts to work in his majeshift lid and afterwards fills the port with water.

After Jarif speaks Robilar nods "I agree, but I am inclined to think that the basic steps of said quest still remain to be completed. If I were an ungodly abomination that controls undeads, I'd hide in Kassen's resting place... but we will probably need to go to the east and open the door first. And what is that about "to rest and reflec on Kassen's deeds"?" We could secure whatever lies south before heading east and finally entering the tomb proper.

Man, I can't wait until level 3 to pick Precise Shot. In fact, not a single day pass without regretting not having picked it. It's that, resigning to use just bombs or building my firearm. But it's funny, tho, because this way I can RP Robilar not knowing what is wrong with his weapon.

Robilar sidesteps behind Goldi, quickly reloads his crossbow and fires over Truffles, trying his best to aim the skelly's cranium.

As he reloads a bolt in his weapon, the good doctor refrains from applausing at Jarif's marvelous demonstration of lethality, but does use the opening created by the old chap to fire again his crossbow.

Targetting the skeleton's head, Robilar mutters "Mmmh... ah, if only I could build a flintlock model already... a powder powered projectile would have enough momentum to pierce bone."

I have to apologize, because you are right. Between summer, paizo problems and the repeated disappearance of my dots I've been having a hard time keeping up.

Robilar lunges forward and throws a bomb between the skelletons on his left, aiming to the space left between them.

"Mm... I don't think my bolts will work, uh."

Robilar walked around the room while the rest gathered themselves and got healed.

Observing the man known as Jarif explore the door, the doctor would walk up to him and ask.
"Uumh... ooh, may I try? I always fancied myself perceptive and I know my way around devices... not as well as you do, of course. Uumh, your work sith the pillar was marvelous to say the best... I was considering blowing it up, actually. So good for everybody, yes."

Robilar tries to detect traps in the doors, he had a sudden urge to try and establish friendship with Jarif.

"Um...ah... yes. This will work." he says before he downs it.

Drinking the Shield Extract. Also, two questions? Even with Ka'nny boy there can we enter? And... can aid another be used when disarming traps? Robilar is trained!"

Once outside the smoke-filled room, Robilar smiles and asks "Is anybody in need of medical assistance? Oh, and Ka'narg, you were part of the first expedition so, huh, ah... where should we go now?"

If I were to throw a bomb against the wall immediately in front of Haska, would I manage to hit the shadow and only it with splash damage? And it's the AC to hit the wall 5 as if targetting an empty square?

Robilar juggles with a few of his flasks while he meditates. "If you can distract it, I could get rid of the shade using my bombs. If he was a friend of yours before, we shouldn't let him suffer, I think. It is the most appropiate way of action."

Robilar who has been eerily silent during the encounter -mostly because he isn't used to these kind of emotional things and stuff- offers himself for first watch.
"As we are underground, no matter what watch I assume, as my field of vision is greatly reduced in darknes. I will prepare a campfire a bit away from where you sleep, the best so exhaust fumes don't kill you in your sleep." he says with no inflexion at all "Good night and sleep tight!"

And he starts a campfire using wooden debris before sitting by it with his crossbow loaded and his bombs ready.

Robilar answers Jarif by unloading a whole crossbow's clip on the bugs' head, then kicking it a few times before recovering said bolts and loading another clip.

"As a trained doctor I can certify its death." he says with a smile before crouching to check the tracks...

... which he can't understand in the slightest, so he remains crouched adopting a thoughtful expression, waiting for Goldi to stat anything so he can back it without making a fool of himself.

Robilar seems distracted by the necklaces hanging from the wall, and on a whim he takes them to inspect them better.

If nothing bad happens...

Seeing that the rest isn't sure about what direction they have to take, Robilar decides to check on the footprints.
