Not at all. It's a lot of factors. My local scene collapsed as a result of COVID, 2E and some toxic players. Ive had some great real-time games online, but enough bad ones to make shy away from it now. I also think I'm unusual in that I don't like replays or replayable scenarios, so the trend towards having more of that (for 2E) has been off-putting.
Play by post has generally been good, I've loved many of the games I've played on these forums, but I don't get much free time and the daily post required in many games takes a toll. At the same time I've been getting into miniature painting and other games so I'm not taking on any new games now and will wind down as the remaining ones finish. Perhaps I will return for 3rd edition :)

I've thrown a template on the map for the black tentacles where I think it was intended based on the description, is that about right? I'm not sure why they wouldn't have gotten River though so perhaps his ommission was an oversight?
Shau River could cast Fly on you, (or communal air walk), but he'd get grappled as soon as he entered the tentacles. He could Fly to a position you'd like to exit the tentacles, then ready an action to cast it on you as you exited, and then you could continue your movement vertically, though that would depend on his actually not being in it so I'll await a clarification on that.

Sorry I just meant that River moved it 30 feet following along the route that Mörök took, i.e through the same open doors. He can move it once per round as a swift action (I'm sort of assuming it works even if he can't see it as it's like a mental command? But no worries if you rule not)

I'm not sure if Spiritual Allies can open doors, but it could wait for Osprey or someone to open it I suppose. I'm also not 100% where River was with respect to Shau and Peep before the bamf

The Armory is L9 on the map according to our earlier briefing. River would make a poor choice for the deliverer of a coup de grace, but he could cast Invisibility Purge before the bamf in case the thief is invisible.

I had mistakenly thought I'd been missed, thanks for that correction.
It does seem important to clarify the vital strike issue. As the quoted text says it triggers on an Attack action, which is distinct from a Full Attack. So these archers can do one big attack with vital strike and sneak, or forgoe the vital strike for multiple attacks, but not both. Unless they have some special ability that permits it of course

I think the only remaining place for a stone golem would be next to River, so I'll assume that and be cautious

He uses his newly enhanced speed to steer clear of the other worm, and concentrates. Two strange portals appear, filled with stars. One by Adril on the Balcony, and one on the ground near River. The one by Adril sweeps over him, and suddenly Adril is on the ground near River.
"There was something up there you hadn't noticed, I feared for your safety"
This is the Heaven's Leap hex. River would need to be within 30 feet of Adril, and have line of sight and effect to him. If the geometry doesn't allow it he can do something else

I've put River and Eska (his fox familiar) on there, typically I wouldn't bother because he has a familiar satchel and Eska likes to hang out there, but if there's an explosion or something before he can act Eska is currently out.

As I recall he casts spiritual weapon and spiritual ally often in combat as he has a feat to boost them, poached a few cleric spells via FCB (Invisibility Purge, Prayer, Burst of Radiance, Air Walk (Communal)), and has some neat utility hexes.
Heaven's leap lets him teleport an ally 30 feet. I remember that being hugely useful at low levels, but probably not as much nowadays. He gets his Wisdom bonus to knowledge checks via his wandering ancestors spirit so is pretty knowledgable, and he has a very high perception bonus. I almost took Skill Focus (perception) at 11 so I could take 10 and get a 50, but it felt a bit overkill :)
