After seeing the reaction of the current situation by Grey, Rickard looks at the orc and tries to get some impression from it. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 It does seem to be scared of us, but I guess anything would be if a bunch of armed men barged into a room you were hiding in. Still, its an orc. I don't see how we can trust it. But orcs are violent, aren't they? Maybe this Rohkar hired it? Can we trust what it tells us? Hope this clears up what I have Rickard thinking a little more.

No, be critical all you want, I'll take all the help I can get as Pathfinder is new to me, as are some of the mechanics of how things will work sometimes. However, this was just a statement made by a young adventurer that is not familiar with orcs, he only "knows" what he may have heard. He wasn't trying to detect if the creature was truthful, he was only saying that, as a stereotype, orcs are evil creatures and therefore lie, cheat, steal and kill. That is how I read my post in my mind when I typed it and if we were at a table and said that I'm sure it would have been taken that way. I can see in this forum how you would read that as being something different. I guess you could say it was a roleplay moment, not a skill check moment. Though, to be honest, I could have still made that check and went off of that to maybe alter his preconceived notion of orcs. I will say I was a bit surprised that, when checking the door before unlocking it, that I wouldn't notice that it was bolted. Maybe my perception roll wasn't too good or I forgot to roll it that time. I'd have to go back and look. To be honest, THAT through me off and I had to roleplay around that as well.

You can't tell which of his wounds are more severe, the ones he took from the trap or the mental ones he felt after triggering the alarm. Rickard will quickly do as he was told, helping to flank the door. I'm sorry! I didn't think they'd have such a trap set up out in the wild like this! Great job, Rickard! You've alerted the entire place that we're out here. I only hope we don't die because of it.
Male Human
What the... awww, man! Rickard exclaims as the trap goes off. I never seen anything like this out in the open before! To be honest, I thought I we had already made it to the house and I was climbing to the roof. I thought the original perception check for when we found the house was enough. Ooops. Rickard will ready his weapons after triggering whatever trap it was he triggered.

For whenever my turn is and assuming there is a bandit left. Rickard sees some of the foes fall to the efforts of his new friends as well as his own. Rickard fires again with his bow, hoping to prove his worth one more but in his effort to ensure he does not hit one of his own the arrow sails high. Bow: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 - 4 = 4
That's a lotta fours, LOL

Rickard will follow Hedrick in as he sees his new-found companion utterly destroy the first bandit with one swing. Moving to the next bandit, Rickard will find a spot to steady himself and fire an arrow at one of the bandits before they are engaged in combat. I believe I was carrying my bow so I'll attack with it. Bow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Rickard's aim is true, pegging a bandit high in the chest.

Rickard takes one last look at the body, seeing if there are any unusual markings or such on it. I am not trained in Heal so it would strictly be by my perception. Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 If nothing is detected Rickard will leave the site, taking nothing more than his share of the gold and wait for the others to leave again.
Male Human
What the... where did the halfling go? And what do you mean two? What is going on? Rickard has never seen the likes of this before. So you are going to be protecting our back like that? What kind of magic is that? Rickard will march in whatever order he is asked to. And yes, I honestly have no idea what you are or what you did, I'm still new to some PF stuff, LOL.
