The injury was related to stepping two inches up onto a pavement from the road at the Birmingham Hilton (we'd gone to UK Games Expo). I spent most of last week explaining this to a bunch of young offenders who were mightily impressed by the strength of my jaw. "Shoulda bust that miss, you was well lucky"
Theatre still goes on. I'm due to start a production of The Secret Garden at the end of the month - looking forward to it.

Interesting. Felt like they've outgrown the space already (only the second year there). Much better in the afternoon and on the Sunday morning when things slacked off a bit and it was possible to get to the stands. Tripped over an iron bollard and knocked out two teeth plus much bruising, so I saw most of it in a pink pain-killed blur.

I may have to go slightly incommunicado for a few days. My PGCE is coming to an end and I have to finish up a couple of essays, write a reflective diary, do one more observation and attend an induction at the local nick where I'm going to be teaching offenders the errors of their grammatical ways. It should not make too much difference, but just to warn you in case I vanish.

If you're looking at completed APs via PbP I suspect you'll have a very limited pool to draw on. There are a few exceptions, but most PbP games collapse and die within 3 months. What might be interesting from your perspective is widening the definition of your success pool and seeing how many completed games of any length you can find. If you do decide to take that route, I can offer a few :) |
