As the gods continue to ensure her friends are healing with those great skills of Netkin, Resa is clearly dying slowly, slowly..... so slowly that one is pretty sure that is just age killing her, because she was stabilized a few moments previously. But do not fear, death still approached! Somewhere.

Resa continues the long process of bleeding out and dying while not actually bleeding out and dying.

I like the above plan, if we can get it to work out. It should work out right? Yeah? Let us hope so.

I also feel some blame here, I rushed in too quickly, which I could have drawn out some one which would have been worth more. Or at least given us some one else to help maybe.

gotta play the drama up ya know? Can't be positive about running straight IN to a blade it seems.

Resa continues the time honored tradition of rogues dying in fields alone and cold, at least to her knowledge because the stories always spoke of fearless heros, not dying in the mud to half orcs.

Resa will stabilize with whatever luck she has left, but that does not mean she is completely out of trouble yet. If her companions can't get to her, she may be a hostage it seems, because nothing more could really be done from her end.

using a hero point, but that is about all to be done here. Can't risk getting a fail on my last roll.

Honestly, I play rogues because I as a player can not do a good job of other classes. So what do you see your character as? Rogues can be heros or villains.

To not die: 1d20 ⇒ 9

Resa is trying her best to not die, but the sounds of battle are fading, and she isn't on the right side of things anymore. Perhaps she just wasn't good enough to make it anymore.

I think the idea of Netkin playing safe is best. Resa went in knowing there was an enemy but not where. It's a tough fight for anyone like that

Resa will dive down, and with only one target left, will go in. She is not sure what all is going to be there in the inside as she had not looked around for things, so when she enters and sees Ardoinel down she is a bit surprised. If she has the action left, she will strike on the hobgoblin just once.

I think I do not have but one attack action here.
to hit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
to damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Resa takes her turn fully moving towards the last archer high in the tree harassing the group, knowing she is better suited for this compared to her companions.

I've used it where you hide, attack, hide again, so your next turn is hidden attack, hide, attack.

I think I have enough to move, jump, and attack once right?

Resa follows towards the pink orc, attempting to ensure all their foes have been felled.

to hit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
to damage: 1d4 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (6) = 13

Without anything keeping her, Resa will move towards the upper enemy, running and jumping from her treetop on to the roof of the building across, and with enough movement would run and jump again towards the enemy up top. This would be all she could do though.

if I figure it right, with a running start Resa can clear the ten feet between the the out post she is in, on to the building, then on to the other out post. I think.

Searching on the same area as me, but I think I can see one. So if I can see the one near me, I will attack him. Not sure what is true.

@Resa: Can you see the map that's linked under the DM's name? The only one hidden is Pink, and it's unlikely you could reach him in time anyway if you could see him, as he's on a different platform.

For a target, might I suggest either:

1) The hobgoblin in C4 is off-guard to Resa, though you'd need to climb down first, or jump down onto him.

2) Red (next to Cerrus) is on the same platform as you.

for some reason I was under the idea I couldn't see any of them. I'm not sure why. I'd go after the Red one.

I think i have to seek, so I'll seek first, and if that works, then attack that target, but that's only one action. So after seeking I would move and attack.

Resa takes her time, trying to seek out the next op to put down, and would then move to stab them hard.

to stab once found: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
to damage them: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Resa, having caught herself before she fell, would move towards the enemy who pushed her, and attempt to stab him for his efforts.

to stab in the gut: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
damage if hit: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
snek damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

From her efforts, it seems she was able to hit very well, resulting in extra damage

Resa would attempt to grab a ledge to not fall down, but if she is able to, all she can do is get back up and not get hit again. Unless this leaves her a third action, in which she would ready to push the next opponent to rush her off the edge instead of her.

I just realized I had updated my sheet, but not the profile. All those rolls need a +1 to them, but I do not think outside the last hit will it ACTUALLY matter. But everything is now right.

to damage: 1d4 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (2) = 9
to hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Resa takes the time to strike the prone target, knowing it will be the best target to get rid of, which will hopefully even the odds against her and the other one.

My bad thought I posted

Resa follows with the same idea of going up quickly and would cut the bell down, potentially placing herself in harm's way to ensure that no one else was injured.

Resa nods grimly, sadden by the chance of lost diplomacy, and rushes to get under the tree, to prevent any arrows to get at her, and also to perhaps stay hidden to the enemies.

"If peace could be had, that would be best. Sneaking in would provoke them if noticed. Perhaps we should be more open on our intent, they may not be enemies?" Resa leaves that option open, because she does not mind either way if she sneaks in or walks in, but either would be easy it seemed. Not that many guards were standing there

Resa takes a moment to look at the area, and tries to puzzle out how she would approach this if she had to. Nothing really came to mind given the lose of the tree cover, and in wide open spaces they will be seen before they get closer.

" Perhaps a single one of us should go out? If we are not attacked good, but if we are, we know they are armed and watching. One over all is best."

Much like her full elven kin, she did not sleep long, and was up early, trying to study the small book she was able to get that would help her learn letters and words. While she would still need help, it was a start. She would do something and be better than just some tool to... well to anyone.

" I do not know the area, but if the goblins are safe, perhaps the other location is best to search? We can always come back." She says, voting for Guardian's Way.

"It may be forward, but I think being friends is what we are. We did survive together a few harrowing events, so perhaps that is the truth. Maybe in the future we can explore more? Then we are not repaying each other, but helping ensure our future success." Resa says with some hope.

Resa unsure of what should really be best, offers " I can put it on something for a rune, but I do not understand it really that well. Perhaps next time?"

I have no strong feeling one way or another, since I have darkvision, there is little more to help with rogues outside of runes. Maybe something for invisible foes, but everything else rogues are pretty good on their own.

Even Resa blinks at the mention of rest, for even she does not sleep like others do. She waits until a more private moment to inquire about learning to read, hoping the leader of the library could point her in a direction to start. She wanted to be more helpful to the group, and it seems her upbringing left some gaps in her skills.

Like knowing what to buy for her future adventure out. All she could do is make sure she had everything covered, but when it comes to what she really needs, that was a mystery. Everyone else knew more. She did get a sling for range attacks, and traded out her dagger and shortsword for a blade the owner said was for her kind. She did keep her starknife.

Resa checks out the library with her group, but due to her lack of clear reading ability, she just wanders the area, trying to look and see what she could find that would be interesting. Maybe a secret hidden door? Who knew what libraries had? She certainly didn't

Reas does not in fact know what to get, outside of some hardtack and other rather mundane supplies, ensuring that if they needed something on the way, she would be ready. " Never know when rope would be needed. And a block and tackle can move items... we may have to move heavy things." Each purchase was odd, but with her pack filled, it seems she has planned for everything and anything that could be had.

I'm not sure what is good for a rogue really.

" Can you tell me anything about this discount? What can they do? What all can this buy? Does everyone take this coins?" Her questions give away just how much she had missed not being able to be her own person growing up. She clearly was not sure how to spend her money nor what the best method of saving was, and seemed out of place when it came to even placing it on her body.

Resa keeps an eye on the ropes, but stays out of the way of the others as they talk. They knew the area better than her, and that made more sense they could focus on talking while they walked. She did keep an eye out for any other signs of problems, like if there was some one following them, but that was not that much of an issue or deal. Surely no one was.

Resa felt torn between the two groups, but wishing to learn more about elvenkind, went with Ellaeaanda. That did not mean she was exactly cheerful or really sure what she would do, but she did partake of the singing once she got hold of the goblin songs, and would take a turn ensuring that a certain criminal did not escape. Who better to watch but one who knew how to escape locks?

Resa tries her best to figure the map out, but she was not as learned as some of the others, and it takes her a few moments before she calls out to Ardoinel. " Hey, can you help me with this? I know it is a map... but I can not really make out much more? Where is it to? Is it local? Maybe it is a clue?"

Resa stays to the back, no interest in the scrolls, and certainly not because she can not read them. She just didn't understand the appeal of the wiggly lines that they claim make words, and she wasn't too much of one to learn those things, because she never did mention she was unable to read.

Taking her time before picking the right door, she tries the lock just to see what was going on with it, and if needed she would open and pick the lock, but was not sure which was needed.

"Why not see if we are on the right path?"

Resa goes to the door to check it, trying to figure out if there was anything magical on it first, and if it was truly just locked, she does a pretty okay job at her attempt to open it.
