If we can just inflict enough damage Thaxos won't be able to truly escape... Old man in the desert, blood pouring from his body and no water...along with critters who are basically immune to telepathy=death.

Realizing that this could be disastrous Rennoc moves to take Chumani out of the picture... He charges up to the half giant and unleashes a spell...

While he cannot strike out against Thaxos this doesn't stop Rennoc from murdering the kank, a twisty mind such as his recognizes how to defeat or at least obstruct mental commands...

By plumbing endless depths of the Core Rulebook I have found the run rule... I encourage all my fellow players to make use of this handy rule (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/additionalRules.html#table-7-6-movement -and-distance) we shall be kings (or senators..or something)!

Proceeding to run over 90 feet using the run(x3) tactical movement, square K14.

Rennoc moves and will with whatever is available move to remove any supplies from Thaxos's kank... Of course he will not "hurt' Thaxos while doing this... Or stop him from moving his kank forward.

Note would it not be against "orders" to unleash something like a Ash Storm or cloud pf Poison in the path of Thaxos? Since I am not actually "harming" him...

Rennoc will move to untie Thaxos as well, while his trapped mind might be affected by Thaxos he still has the ability to do things Thaxos didn't specify... Like take some of Thaxos's falling hair...

You forget something old man, you are old and experienced. Your younger successor is far more pliant and judging from how you out maneuvered her when she discovered your plot less experienced. Just as a mage prefers a young, pliant apprentice accepting of his will and vision so do I prefer a pliant, easily controlled head of "her" trade house.

The Halfling tribes are not an obstacle that can't be overcome, with one hand I might offer them complete annihilation. With the other I shower them with gifts, this is the way of power. To drive a kank forward a man needs both a stick and food, this lesson applies to all of us to a lesser extent.

As for challenging the Sorcerer Kings that is fairly simple, encourage them to destroy one another and they will do so. They are defilers to a King and defilers see one another as rivals exclusively, their can only be two defilers in one area at most. One to wield power and one to crave it. When they finally have weakened themselves it will be easy to convince even people used to comfort and plenty to attack them.

For all men are decidedly like vultures, when they smell blood and see the enemy's weakness they will not take much convincing to swoop in to enjoy the feast.

All wizardry may come at a price but their is one think to note Thaxos, I am neither a defiler, a being too lazy to seek out a proper source of power nor a preserver who is to craven to harness true power. Why do I need to bother with the lagging life force of this planet when I have the limitless power of the Cerulean Storm to call upon?

As Rennoc speaks of the Ceruluean Storm his eyes seem to glow like a Tyr storm as his gaze bores into Thaxos...

After he is done and hears Thaxos speaks he laughs at the idiocy he sees before him...

Old man I think you fail to see a point here, the age of kings is coming to an end. One King lies dead and another faces open rebellion, we stand upon the precipice of change and unlike you we are prepared to make the great leap forward.

It will be a glorious age, as the Kings bicker their gaze will turn inward. Besides the dangers already present the paradise beyond the mountains is open for the taking, such a dominion will be able to expand without worry nor fear safe behind the mountainous shield that defends it.

Such a dominion could in but a quarter of a century raise an army mighty enough to challenge any city state save Urik, given fifty years it will surpass even Urik in strength and unlike the city states it will have numerous magi who call upon the same power that I do.

Rennoc is more for parading him through the streets as a propaganda coup for the eventual "expedition" (and hopefully kingdom) across the mountains.

The end of this age is close at hand and you are on the wrong side, we by contrast will enjoy the fruits of victory.

While we wait for Rennoc to make it to level 7 and gain the leadership feat Duokotti can be considered to undergoing "studies" (like learning to read and write if he doesn't know how and glassblowing).

Rennoc takes the knotted string and puts it into a pocket of his blood spattered and burned robes and grabs everything else of Crakos's body.

With that Rennoc seems to put back his lens into the pouch of flesh were he generally keeps it, he subtly moves his fingers as he does so... Then he moves to leave, better for them to turn in the prize while they still could...

Rennoc stumbles out from behind his kank as he hears Thaxos and Nadar speak with the elven leader and he calmly offers the one thing which could possibly ensure their survival and success. Rennoc calls out in a voice seemingly amplified by the storm itself...

Hold elf, Thaxos has nothing to offer you but deceit and treachery. I however am a mage, the great storm that engulfed the Thri-kreen was my handiwork. The time has come for me to take an apprentice, if you ally with us and assist us in bringing back Thaxos to Tyr alive I shall make one of your tribe my apprentice.

And that is not all I can offer, for the winds are shifting across this blighted land and we have powerful friends who can help us exploit the changing times. Ally with us and you too can enjoy the fruits of change, why walk this blighted desert when you accompany us to the green paradise beyond the mountains?

HP would be 18/49 at this point, Rennoc is moving behind his kank to use it as cover. I am assuming a large chunk of flesh between you and the enemy would provide some form of cover... Moving to M5.

Rennoc moves his kank back and sideways (squares 7L, 8L, 7M, 8M) and begins to channel what must be a terrifying spell... In truth he is just making lightning encircle his fingers as he moves his hands in a vague, circular motion.

Foolish Psion you dare to engage us, yet you can still save yourself: Turn against Thaxos and you will be spared.

As Rennoc says these words the lightning that dances across his fingers seems to grow more ominous...

Rennoc isn't really expecting to turn Asher against Thaxos, he is however planting doubt in his mind so that he might fumble at the critical moment.
