OK, those of you who want to participate in this, almost from the beginning, please come over to this campaign. You can dot and delete from gameplay, and provide the needed info in discussion. I'll try to get us going really soon, but want to make sure I thoroughly understand the rules first.

OK, guys, I've been pouring over the rules and what has already happened, and I found several significant GM errors, none in your favor. They are not the sort of thing I can simply retcon. This means that rather than continuing, we would need to go back to the beginning of the first day of combat. And I believe you were not given information you should have been when choosing your armies, so we would need to go back a little further and have you choose your armies again. Do you still want to try to do this scenario, or should we consider it to have never happened? I'm still willing to run this if you want to play, but starting from basically the beginning is different from continuing from where you are. (You don't need to all make the same decision here; I will continue with some of you if you wish)

OK, I see a consensus to finish the game. The remaining question is now or wait for GM Colin. In terms of that second decision, I see a lot of 'whatever the group decides' and one rather soft preference to finish now. If anyone has other thoughts or opinions, could you please post in the next day or so?

I think Colin's suggestion would be permissible in these circumstances. Your options are: -Colin's suggestion of putting the game on pause for about six months -seeing if we can find another GM to finish the game now (I could probably take this on if needed; I would need about a week to read up on the rules and where you are now) -ending the game, no chronicles, no credit; you'd be able to play the scenario some other time

OK, let me tell you guys about what your options are. In general, when a GM cannot finish a game, these are the options: -another GM could take over where you currently are -everyone at the table could get partial credit and chronicles based on what has happened so far An option that is not always available, but is in this case, is to just wipe away everything that has happened. No chronicle sheets, no credit, no dead characters. In this case, I think the third option is probably best, but it's up to the players.
I agree that chronicle sheets for longer adventures is something I really want. A more generic chronicle sheet is a good compromise, if the more detailed sheets are too much work. If these adventures are not sanctioned, I'm concerned that it would set off the following chain of events:
For my PF1 characters, I think at least half of their experience is from APs and modules rather than scenarios. To not have that for SF2 would be very disappointing.
Only allowing purchasers to review a product makes the reviews totally not worth paying attention to, as far as I am concerned, because player reviews are just as important as GM feedback. If you're saying that you can't deal with a few junk reviews and so only will allow purchasers to write reviews, just remove the reviews entirely.
In this case, as other people have said, Paizo has sent people emails saying that they would get the pdfs when the book ships. I just checked my order email, and right under the entry for SF2 Player Core, it says 'Will be in your downloads once shipped.' I realize this is just what subscription orders always say, but Paizo did tell us we would get the PDF when our order shipped, not 2 weeks later.

This is going to sound really weird, but I'm not able to pick a character; my brain just refuses to do so. I have a whole bunch of unplayed level 1 characters who would be fun; anyone else at the table have any input who they would like to have at the table? Any character who shows up in my alias list as level 1 with a race and class is built and ready to play.

Here is my suggested list to consider. I've removed the ones that were run recently, and one or two for other reasons. 5-S Siege of the Diamond City (RetroCon, early 2019)
6-00 Legacy of the Stonelords (RetroCon, early 2019)
7-00 The Sky Key Solution (GameDay IX, 2020)
9-00 Assault on Absalom (GameDay VII, 2018)
10-00 The Hao Jin Cataclysm (GameDay VIII, mid 2019)
Personally, I would like Hao Jin Cataclysm. I entirely missed out on that one due to a very stressful real life situation, and would like to get a chance to make that right.

In addition to checking the minimum table counts, I would encourage the specials that were run during RetroCon, because people were not able to play all of those and so had to pick which one. That would indicate there are people who were not able to play those specials who might have wanted to. Let me look up the list of minimum table counts, and I'll either link it here or provide the relevant info, depending on if it's a public resource or not.

The 2E special also had lots of Discord table. They tend to move faster and post more often. (the speed for specials is actually set based on how fast forum tables went years ago, which was a little faster than now, so I sometimes wonder if the balance is off on Discord tables). I might be interested in GMing, and definitely am willing to help on the organizer side. (also, DM Carbide, I have a few ideas from experience that I should share with you about the House GM side of things)

Taking off my player hat and putting on my VO hat: I just noticed that we are playing with only 3 players. Since the game is too high level for pregens, the rules allow that, but only if every player explicitly agrees to play in hard mode. That didn't happen here, so we need to pause for a minute to talk about what everyone wants to do.

Yep, official word that SSD is still available as scenario support That has a very low minimum table count (I forget if it's 3or 4 tables and it's hard to look it up on mobile), and will be very popular since it was only run once in PbP and many people sat it out because they were tired from the previous solstice scar specials.
