Nel takes a studied look at the woman caught in the tentacles before making the determination that she's taken care of - for now. She turns to the troglodyte near Orthrus, carefully manuevering around the desk, the cauldron, bubbling pool... really, the crowded lab in general.

She gives a quick slash to the creature and it crumbles.

Nel pushes Gibraltar forward only to run head first into the drake before them. The acidic fog broils around her as she catches the creature's shadowy form. Through the fog, she is able to wound it severely. It falters and falls through the onslaught.

"Nani, they're trying to flank," Tamiro says as he charges forward to attack. The drake lashes out at him as he gets within its snapping jaws. However, he flattens himself against Kino's body to avoid the attack. Despite his unsteadiness, Tamiro's katana slashes into the drake's thigh.

A strange whirring sound fills the air and a robot moves Chack's form.

Chack uses his shortbow to fire a shot at the thug on the catwalk. It his the man solidly in the chest.

Note: those on the catwalk have cover from those down below.

Pazacku, Takashi, Dekarin, Chack and Andoleisa - You're up!

Dekarin's slash causes some of the tiny oozes to split and undulate you're damaging it! but it continues to surge forward, moving over Dekarin. It covers the ground with sticky globules, but Dekarin is able to avoid being stuck to the ground by them.

Dekarin will get an attack of opportunity on it, but will take one point of damage. At the beginning of his turn, he will need to make a DC 13 Fortitude save or be overtaken by euphoric toxins and spend his entire turn laughing - giving him the staggered condition.

Dekarin Reflex Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

The man on the catwalk, seeing Pazacku and Takashi approach, fires a wild shot at Takashi. However, as he shakes from fear, the shot goes wildly off course.

The man who greeted you scowls at the man behind him. "Bryten, don't be useless - do something," he grumbles before slashing out with his longsword at Pazacku. However, Andoliesa ducks under the blade.

Bryten rolls his eyes and steps backwards, shouting, "Let's get them cornered in here!"

The thug standing on the catwalk looks down and says, "Should I kick the jar?"

The other thug on the floor moves up and waits for an opening.

Whir whir, moving the plot along.

The group wakes Takashi and lets Chack know what's going on. They tell everyone about the tunnel underneath, the two doors, but opt to go check out the warehouse first.

The first set of double doors opens into an office. A desk and chair sit against the east wall, with additional chairs situated nearby. Wall lamps light the room. To the north of the desk is a single door leading deeper into the warehouse.

At the desk is a man sitting, his feet up on the desk. He awkwardly swings them down and flashes a smile.

"Ah, welcome sirs and ma'ams. How can I help you this fine day?"
