As the Copoxi tries to rebalance the shields, an error message pops up that WinRar is about to expire and he can't get rid of it.

Heroes are easily able to grab all the ingredients.

After all of that [dice=stealth]9+1d20 roll perception checks vs a creatures stealth. I didn't roll for you all, cause some of you might have situational perception checks. Dwarves get bonuses to stone doors for instance.

If Rahirez notices that the terrain up ahead looks trecherous and like he might fall, he will activate his racial copaxi ability to shift his own personal gravity to affect him as if the area was in low-gravity, halving any falling damage.

Rahirez's mask of detached scientific analysis breaks upon hearing what the elf has to say, and he shakes his head, as if trying to comprehend what the elf just said.

"I ... wait . . . what? I . . . I'm trying to take this all in. Are you-wait. So . . . so Yaraesa is responsible for keeping this planet from falling into a black hole? I . . . deific intervention? And you. . .kill-but . . . that would be genocide! Not just genocide, that would be death and destruction on an unimaginable scale! The flora, the fauna, the sentient . . . Rahirez turns to the rest of the group. ”Their name is Alvreein and they speak celestial, apparently. They have requested us to accompany them. They are also. . . very inquisitive.”

The Copaxi continues speaking in a subdued tone. ”Excellent work Taerem. Fascinating, this signal appears to be melodic in nature, but also has elements of . . . Celestial. I will translate what I can, but Someone else may be better equipped to handle the message in its entirety.”

Rahirez will pass off his +4 from knowing celestial to the next person who wants to try challenge 3. If not allowed to mechanically, he will auto-aid another (+8, additional +4 for spraining celestial.

So, a few days ago, I passed challenge 1 while giving a bit of roll playing, and passed it off to someone else (I don't have Engineering), so if someone wants to do a bit of role-playing and take a stab at challenge 2, then pass it off to someone else? Just, y'know, as kind of a soft way to introduce characters as well as take care of this challenge?

As an FYI, if anyone cares, while Copaxi are technically not sexually dimorphic (there is no biological male and female with Copaxi), Rahirez has chosen to identify as male gendered for ease of conversations.

The Heavily-armored Copaxi's hand-like-appendages quickly but meticulously tap on the controls of the ship's science station. His movements are all business with almost no flair to them whatsoever.

"Fascinating captain. The gravitational anomalies affecting this planet are not unlike those effecting my home planet, but to a much higher degree. I regret, however, that my specialty is genetics, and astrophysics is more of a secondary concern, nevertheless, I shall try to cut through the gravametric sheer."

We have two vanguards and two biohackers, now Luke and The Ragi need to come in with two witchwarpers and we'll be good to go. Well, actually we'll be terrible to go because no one will have piloting, but that's besides the point.
