Are these allowed in a 1e SFS game as a slotless Promotional boon? With a bonus per scenarios run like in PFS? Just wondering.

The First Seeker’s meeting room is a lavish space, with several
lush couches and armchairs surrounding a wide, low table.
First Seeker Luwazi Elsebo appears uncharacteristically
extravagant, having exchanged her typical stationwear for a
sleek, fashionable suit in a shade of copper that matches the
Starfinder Society logo emblazoned on the table. Behind her
stands the towering vesk leader of the Acquisitives faction,
wearing a suit of ceremonial armor.
Luwazi smiles and gestures to the seats. “A pleasure to
see you all. I trust you’ve heard about tonight’s gala? I have a
rather important announcement to make, so we’ve decided to
use the opportunity to entertain and impress representatives
of the various interests who have helped the Starfinder Society
through our setbacks with the Scoured Stars Incident.
“That’s where you come in. As some of the shining
stars of the newest Starfinder Society agents, I’d like
to have you mingle with the guests so they can see
for themselves what we’ve been able to accomplish.
It’s nothing too fancy; I’d just like you all to be polite
and talk about some of your experiences with the
Society so far. We’re expecting some government
dignitaries, investors, corporate interests, and the
like, so be sure to stay on your best behavior. Also,
don’t be afraid to brag a bit—it’s
our goal to impress them.”

“But don’t be stupid,” the
armored vesk breaks in.
Luwazi Elsebo glances over
her shoulder and grins. “Have you
all met Radaszam? He’s certainly
someone else you should be trying
to impress.”
Radaszam scowls. “Events like
this never go as planned. Luwazi’s
contracted one of my merc outfits,
the Obsidian Spiders, to provide security
for the night. I want to make sure that if
anything goes down, you’re working with
my agents, rather than us all tripping over
one another. So stay alert, but if anything
happens, make sure you’re talking to me about
it rather than jumping in blindly.”
The First Seeker nods and picks up the
datapad. “I’ve singled out five guests

your priority tonight, so I’ve compiled basic information about each of them here. Things will start up in about an hour in the Skyreach Room. Any questions before we go?”

What is the Scoured Stars incident?

Spoiler:
Radaszam shakes his head
and Luwazi sighs. “Not even a year ago, the Starfinder Society sent
most of our agents and ships in a ground-breaking endeavor to
a region known as the Scoured Stars, but once they arrived, we
lost all communication with them. We haven’t been able to contact
them since, and the entire region has been sealed off behind some
kind of force field. It was a disaster for the Society; we lost most of
our agents and our assets, and we made it through only thanks to
support from the people who we’re entertaining at tonight’s gala.”

Do we need to dress up?

Spoiler:
“If you’d like, but it’s not necessary.
You’re Starfinders, and there’s a certain air of excitement that
comes along with the armor and gear.”

What’s the big announcement?

Spoiler:
Luwazi laughs. “It would spoil
all the fun if I told you now, wouldn’t it? Sorry, you’ll have
to wait a few hours like everyone else.”

Are you expecting trouble?

Spoiler:
“I’m always
expecting trouble,” Radaszam says, but a
moment later he shrugs. “I don’t know of any
plans specifically targeting this event, but my
team and I have our eyes and ears open.”

Liberty's Edge

Male Secret Identify of Qstor

Many adventurers have dared to explore the Mwangi Expanse.
Some die, others recover valuable treasures, but almost all
of them pass through the walled city of Kibwe. Kibwe is a
flourishing center of trade, home to tribal folk from a plethora
of races. Humans, elves, and even a few lizardfolk merchants
wave to passersby, eager to scam gold from unwary travelers.
A Mwangi Pathfinder named Tuukna waits beneath the
central pavilion just up ahead.

“Good to see you, Pathfinders! I bring dire news from the
Expanse.” Tuukna gestures to seats on benches beneath the
blossoming trees before continuing his story. “I just received
word that a band of traveling merchants was found dead after
exploring the nearby ruins of the once proud city of Dokeran.
Our agents across the Mwangi Expanse claim an eerie song
echoes from the ruins, which were previously assumed to be
abandoned. We have reason to believe this song was responsible
for the destruction of Dokeran decades ago.
“If this region is ever going to be a safe place for travelers
and explorers, I need you to find out what still lurks within the
ruins. Head northwest, toward the rivers flowing out of Lake
Ocota. I’ve arranged for you to meet a witch doctor named
Nangi along the River Bdonge. This ancient mystic knows
Dokeran well. I believe he will be willing to serve as your guide
through the ruins. Give him this copper coin and tell him
Tuukna sent you.
“Should you come across a physical copy of the song heard
from within the ruins—be it sheet music, a cursed instrument,
or anything else unusual—return it to your venture-captain
immediately. If this song is the fabled Song of Extinction, we
may have some hard times ahead of us.”

Harvesting Poisons:

Source Ultimate Wilderness pg. 142
The following section presents rules for harvesting poisons from the wild.

Unless a dose of harvested poison is preserved, it remains potent for 24 hours after it is harvested.

Harvesting from Dead Creatures: Once a venomous creature is slain, its venom sacs can be removed, allowing 1 or more doses of its venom to be harvested for later use. In order to harvest venom, the creature must have been dead for less than 24 hours. Every hour the source creature has been dead reduces the lifespan of the harvested poison by an hour. Removing venom sacs is a messy and time-consuming process, requiring 10 minutes of work, access to surgical tools, and a container to store the venom in. If proper surgical tools are not available, a dagger or other light slashing weapon can be used, although this imposes a –2 penalty on checks to harvest the venom. The harvester must succeed at a Survival check (DC = 15 + the dead creature’s CR) in order to successfully harvest poison. On a success, the harvester acquires a single dose of the creature’s venom, plus 1 additional dose for every 5 by which the result of this check exceeded the DC (to a maximum number of doses equal to the creature’s Constitution modifier, minimum 1). Failing the check causes all of the venom to be lost. Failure by 5 or more exposes the harvester to 1d3 doses of the creature’s venom unless she has the poison use class feature.

Harvesting Poison from Hazards: Some hazards, such as poison oak and spider vines, feature poisons that can be harvested by those who know how to do so. This process requires 1 hour and an alchemist’s lab or alchemy crafting kit. If the harvester succeeds at a Survival check (DC = 15 + the hazard’s CR), she collects 1 dose of poison. Harvesting poison from a hazard in this way requires getting close enough to it to touch it, which may expose the harvester to the hazard’s effects.
