Not at all! It's amazing just how quickly stuff can get the drop on you IRL and that should always come before PbP. So I don't blame you at all and I hope things will even out for you soon :) As far as the game itself goes, I'm also inclined to leave it here because my own RL is busy and it wouldn't hurt me to lose a game or two. So I think I'll be bowing out at this juncture as well but I also hope that won't stop the rest of the group from finding a new GM and finishing up if that's what they want to do.

Though it shouldn't affect my posting too much, my work schedule has been shifted to solely night shifts in the wake of our one dedicated night shift person quitting unexpectedly. This will probably be what I'm doing for the somewhat-foreseeable-future so you'll be less likely to see posts from me during daylight hours (say, anywhere from about 8-10am up to 5-7pm CST). Obviously this won't actually be relevant until we get started again but I wanted to give a heads up now :)

Pooka lifts one arm and sniffs her armpit curiously, then shrugs. "Meh. Smelleds worse but I knows people don't like stink. Bathtimes then! Maybes those new leads will be readys by the time we're done!" And so Pooka follows suit with the rest of her companions and wanders off to the baths...

"Ooh, nice hats," Pooka grins, immediately trying it on before anyone can object. "What you thinks? Is it mes?" she asks, spinning around for a moment, the floppy hat perched ridiculously on her head, her oversized goblin ears peeking out from underneath it. "Heh! Playing dress-up is funs," Pooka continues, pulling the hat back off her head and passing it over to Tessel. She peers over the woman's shoulder, curious, trying to help make sense of the journal entries they'd found. "List of slaves? That'd make it easys for someone to finds them and...and kills them," the goblin frowns, her expression now quite serious. "We shoulds report this back to the Lodge!"
Inactive
"We should goes and reports," Pooka remarks, grinning widely in satisfaction at a job well-done. "But first let's see whats shinies there are! Shinies, shinies, shinies!" With that, Pooka eagerly chases after Cain. "Waits for mes, don't takes all the good stuffs!"
Perception: Seek +1!

"Heys! You won't gets away with thats!" Pooka cries as she attempts to leap across the gap of sludge to the opposite side... Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 ...and then moves up the tunnel a bit before attempting to fire another arrow at the fleeing kobold! Attack (Shortbow): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Actually yeah, from the initial recruitment post - seems a bit sudden but maybe we've hit that 'late September' point?

With the tide of battle firmly shifted to their side, Pooka lets her singing echo and fade away as she hustles after the single kobold and her companions. As she reaches the corner she finally has sight to the creature and attempts to bring it down with her bow! Attack (Shortbow): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
"Kobolds not as smarts as dragons; dragons knows when to gives up!"
Pooka will Stride twice and then Strike with her shortbow!
Inactive
Pooka continues to cheer her companions on, even as she pulls out a shortbow and readies to fire an arrow into the fray - provided the others leave some kobold for her! ~Hey, hey, gos, fights, wins,
Pooka recasts/concentrates on Inspire Courage and spends (two?) actions to draw and ready her shortage!

Pooka nimbly hops up on the nearby ledge and races advances just around the corner to see what's happening even though she already basically knows what's happening. She just likes to see it for herself. "Hah! Stupid Baby Sharks can'ts sneak up on anyones," she cackles gleefully before starting up a little cheer to inspire them all. ~Ra ra ree,
Pooka will 'Stride' to her current map position and then cast 'Inspire Courage' which has a 1 round duration; you inspire your allies with words or tunes of encouragement. You and all allies in the aura gain a +1 conditional bonus to attack rolls, damage rolls, and saves against fear.

Pooka cringes, not only at the noise the trap makes and the damage it does to Kyra, but at Cain's subsequent yelp of alarm. "Ssssshhhhh! They'll hears us!" she hisses. Then pauses, looking thoughtful. "But maybe they'll think we's a herd of elephants stomping arounds and get scareds?" She peers at the nasty wound left by the trap and then shakes her head. "I's never been good at the 'make-not-bleedy-and-hurty' stuffs, sorry. You okays?"
Inactive
Pooka also manages to clear the exposed pit trap, though with perhaps a little more difficulty than those with longer legs have. "Oof! Thats was a bit of a stretch!" As Fazgyn bids them farewell at the sewer junction, the little gobliness grins and falls in behind Lander. "Good at beings sneaky, I is! Stinky Dragon Sharks won't know whats hits them," she whispers as she does her best to move along quietly, eyes open for trouble...
Pooka's Stealth is +2 for sneaking about...
Inactive
"Whoa," Pooka exclaims as Kyra comes rushing up with a rather long-winded explanation for her lateness. "Slows down and breathes before you pass out!" Once she's certain their new arrival is not, in fact, going to pass out, Pooka turns her attention back to Fazgyn and nods. "Gots it! Be sneakys, watch for traps. I can do thats."
Inactive
Pooka peers down into the pit as well, curious. "Wow, big pit. You keep all friends in the pits? Not a bads idea, easy to keeps tracks of them that ways...well, unless they's climbers." She looks back up at Engashez. "Anyway yeah, whats Jorgon says. Mores informations would be nice. Don't want to kill friends thinking theys a wandering monster or one of those Dragon Sharks!"
Pooka's Diplomacy modifier is also a +2.
Inactive
The little goblin laughs at Lander's little poem and grins at him. "I like you - use easy way to decide. Bonus for rhyming; that was good." She sticks her hand out. "Pooka. Some of the bosses say I'm a 'vore-a-shush' Pooka, whatever that means. I likes the sound of it though so can call me that or just Pooka. I answer to both."
Inactive
The little goblin, who'd been amazingly still and quiet until just now, starts as the scraps of papers flutter into her face. "Wasn't sleeping! Wasn't!" she exclaims guiltily, quickly snatching up the pieces of paper and squinting at them. Her eyes narrow for a moment in confusion...and then she flips the papers around, her expression shifting from confusion to satisfaction. "Better." After reading the papers, she casually flings them towards the robed Pathfinder with the big brown eyes (Jorgon). "Huh. So can go poke around in sewers, play in Puddles, or go do slappy-hands with the Palm people?" She grins, showing sharp teeth. "Sewers good place to start, says I. Lot less dumb people to get in our way down there." Then, as if remember something she'd been told, the gobliness screws up her face as she asks, "What do team think?"

Howdy-ho, here's Ladile's first playtest character peeping in! If someone else wanted to be a bard though, it'd be no problem for me to whip up another character - I'd love to try the cleric or sorcerer out as well :) Also the Herolab Online stuff for the playtest is quite handy if you have the money to spare on it! |
