Pirro moves down and tries to restore Rogarch's body, which looks like it is pushing itself beyond its limit.

Pirro channels the wand's healing energy into Kenji once more and then moves slowly around the chamber.

CLW @ Kenji: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Pirro tries to skirt past the animated statue to reach the wounded on the other side of the battle. The ectoplasma streaming from him forms a shield between him and the danger as Zarisha attempts to protect her tenuous link to the world.

He activates his wand and channels the energy into Kenji.

Pirro gasps in pain as the statues battered through the ectoplasmic armor surrounding him. He channels healing energy into Rogarch once more and then tries to retreat to the other side of the doorway.

Pirro invokes the magic in his wand and touches Rogarch with a healing hand.

Yeah. . . It's a goofy ability that calls out specifically given broken at the first point of damage.

"Weapons that take any amount of damage in excess of their hardness gain the broken condition." Emphasis mine. Like he said, weapons break if the damage exceeds their hardness regardless of the usual rule.

"Not yet," Pirro says. Concentrating on the fallen ifrit, the Iorian stabilizes.

Cast stabilize.

Pirro drops his staff and draws his wand. He then concentrates and flowing tendrils of ectoplasm begin to extrude from his space.

Pirro frowns as they are beset by the enchanted statues. He makes a series of arcane gestures, following which Zarisha disappears. He then moves to stand behind Drea.

Zarisha: 20 HP (now currently inside Pirro's consciousness)

Pirro takes the opportunity to tend to his wounds and restore Zarisha's vitality.

Zarisha swings at the back of the evoker's head as he directs his force missiles across the room.

Actually, it does provoke. Force missile is a spell-like, which provoke. Supernaturals do not.

Zarisha attacked Aziz, or at least the icon on the map labeled Aziz/Evoker.

Stepping off of the grease, Pirro pins the evoker between himself, the columns, and the now manifested Zarisha. "What is so worth killing over in this ruin?" he asks rhetorically as he brings his kukri to bear against the magician.

Pirro waits a moment--until after the evoker has made his move--and then concentrates on pulling Zarisha more strongly from the ethereal realm.

Pirro looks down at the fallen sylph then at Zarisha and then down at the sylph. He reaches out to touch them, restoring some of their vitality.

He then makes his way slowly across the grease.

Pirro concentrates a moment, trying to restore some fortitude to his flesh and then strides into the doorway.

Pirro cries out as the flames burn and blister his flesh.

Pirro concentrates upon occult powers and channels the energy through Zarisha, thus arming the incorporeal phantom.

"What should we do with the keystone?" he asks.

Pirro reads the Osiriani inscription aloud. "Well, that is ominous," he says, adding, "I believe our competition has been here before us. There is a spent ward and something powerful must have rested near the effigy, but it is gone."

Pirro takes the moment to ward Ram, as the construct seems to be intent on attacking the dwarf.

"Let me see if I can assist with that," Pirro says to Drea, channeling the knowledge from ancient spirits into them.

Pirro concentrates and imbues Drea with a warding from the spiritual realm.

With the destruction of the last of the skeletal champions, Pirro concentrates on releasing Zarisha partially back into the ethereal plane.

He turns to Drea, his wand ready to invoke, but pauses at her comment regarding the spear. "Let me see," he says. He stares at the spear for several moments.

"Its true power evades me as well," he says, foiled and continues on with his original intent. "I wonder what those keys unlock."

Pirro takes step back as he feels something walk over his grave. He concentrates on drawing Zarisha out of the ethereal plane.

"A wicked blow!" Pirro cries out as the undead press their assault. "Strike them hard with hammer and stave. Their fleshless bodies will not be much affected by blades nor cold."

The usher walks forward and then releases a wave of positive energy against their foes.

"Kenji! It is good to see your burning smile," he says. "Fortunate that you made it through the ruins unmolested. We believe that there is a rival band somewhere within trying to beat us to the treasure."

Pirro pales slightly as the creature wails but holds steady. "It resists blades and weapons not blessed by magic," he warns the others. He activates his want and touches Ram's back, directing restorative energy into the Pahmet.

Pirro advances down the corridor to stand behind Ram. He draws out a wand.

"It looks like we will need to fight the guardian or convincingly fool it, lest some of us be trapped inside while Drea works to open the doors each time," he says. "Did the huecuvas above bear any symbols?"

Pirro pauses in the wake of Rogarch's mighty swing.

Pirro castigates the restless dead with words of spiritual power before drawing his cold iron blade.

Pirro takes a step toward the priests and then pauses. His lips turn down slightly.

Where are the priests? I feel like I'm already in the danger zone based on the description and matching map local.

"They are asking for our help," Pirro explains to the others.

"The pool represents a harmony of creative energies," Pirro says. "Though it is unusual for the pool to be constructed indoor."

While Roarch recovers from the fatigue of his rage, Pirro conjures Zarisha back from the place within his mind where she resides.

Pirro steps closer to Rogarch and draws a wand. With a word, he summons the divine magic within and touches it to the half-orc's arm.

Judging the construct's material, Pirro sheathes his blade and moves his hand to his quarterstaff as he moves down the stairs. "Any ideas besides hammering it into submission?"

Uncertain where the being will manifest, Pirro takes on a defensive stance.

"Well, this is problematic," he says as the div teleports across the room. "Zarisha."

He concentrates for a moment and then the phantom disappears. He then heads down the platform. He freezes a moment as he meets the creature's gaze.
