I'm not sure about the PFS in Maine. I do know there is a game store in Gardiner that holds different games. They also had a player's board and carried Pathfinder stuff. I live in Connecticut but I get up there to see family. So, I do not know how big the gaming community is there. There was something going on at the store just about every time I visited.

Most certainly, Sandpoint and the Runelords is what sold me on the system.

I'm looking to find a great place to get all my gear and meet some gamers. Thanks for the suggestions! Hiya Rain, There is the Compleat Strategist on 33rd street around the corner from the Empire State Building. It's been a year or two since I've been there but they always had something for just about every game around.

that was a later edition to the rules. There were 2 reasons Raistlin could not cast fireball. One according to the rules (I still have all the 1st edition DL books)a Wizard took the test at Level 4. Second, however is that Raistlin took the test at Level 3 because of the deal he made with Fistandantalus (I think I spelled that right) which helped him pass the test but caused his health to break leaving him in the weakened state he was in. Raistin was Red Robes until near the end of the story.
Well I always like the 3.5 Expanded Psionic Handbook and jumped on this when the book came out. I really like what they did with it. I currently have one of my players running a Psion in my current game. I am waiting for some extra funds to pick up the expanded pdfs hopefully this weekend. Keep up the good work.

Is that when we shall receive the PDF as well?
The WOT Has always been a facorite series for me. I have all the WOT books, the netboots and even the dragon mag articles. So I am all for helping out. Wouldn't the warder work out better as Prestige Class with one of the pre-reqs being the bond? You would just need to add the powers granted through the bond as some of the abilities of the warder.

Awesome, I have been waiting, not so,patiently for a game like this one for awhile now.
My group has done this before. It started out with very straight forward character build requirements. Where everyone had a pretty standard baseline so they ended up a little more than was probably realistic. They could start with just about any equipment that they really owned. We were using GURPS at the time and it was a modern game. So, those that owned a gun, knife, or sword could start with one. Those without couldn't. Skills were the same thing and usually had to come to a census between the player and DM. We did something close to what Sebastion mentioned earlier where we gave a bit of leeway for skills and advantages to let them play how they wanted.
They had/have a few products they "converted" to D20 to try and get in on the D20 market. A there were several conversions out there. The conversions were mostly their standard harnmaster fare with stats for both harnmaster and D20 and I believe it was 3.0 and not 3.5 but I may be wrong. I used a modified template based on the shek pvar where they different specilizations where tied to the different convocations of the wheel. I had Divination and universal spells as the center of the wheel and necromancy as the basis for the void spells. I love the Harn world it is done very well and the cartography and castle design is what drew me in.
First this is a very nice conversion. I've been working with one of my own as well. The one thing I noticed to think about is that Warmage's get only 4 cantrips and that's fine but the spell progression shows them getting 6 per day by 4th level. So, the question is do we add 2 more to thier list or reduce the chart to 4?
In my version I just added the two universal spells to their list: Arcane Mark and Prestidigitation.
In most games I've played in we try everything we can to get the member raised back up. Up to and including selling his stuff if we have too. If we don't each one tends to be different but we do a bit of shared looting for the needed stuff to survive but his main gear usually gets sent back to his family (if possible) or buried with him.
