Not to burst anyone bubble but its a dead horse. Several people that post here are facebook friends of mine. We have asked politely and professionally the status of this game. Admant has removed all and every post that we have made asking the status of this game. Nothing not a word of progress or demise. Unless someone from Adamant says otherwise directly and provides a timetable with in reason. Its a dead issue in my opinion. I got burned by Rite Publishing I dont plan on getting burned by anyone else with these "kick Start" projects.
I'm not a huge fan of Gareth, nor even of Adamant. I just happen to be a HUGE fan of post-apocalyptic settings.
That said, this is absolutely untrue. None of the posts many of us, including myself have posted were removed. Even when they derailed conversations of other products. We didn't get a lot of response until fairly recently, but the current expected release date is March/April, so hopefully we will hear something more concrete in the next few weeks.Sasha Greymantle |

To
Steven D. Russell of Rite Publishing First and formost I should have explained my frustration that your company has resolved. There for Im sorry if you thought I was attacking you or Rite publishing. In my post it looks like that too for that Im sorry.
I rushed to post my fustration at what is going on with Adamant. I was using my only previous experience with a kick start project. Which was Jade Oath.
To the Game community Im sorry that I mislead or did not explain my whole problem or explaination it was a poor post to say the least.
Everything that Steven said was true. He did reply in a timely and professional mannor Thank you.
All I had prior to the emails to and from steven was nothing.
The problem that I personally had was that there was little or no update posted on the web site about the delay. The real world gets in the way of everything. My feelings was prior to my emailing Rite Publishing was that I had no clue what was going on. It was my fault that I didnt email them earlier or get more involved but my real life got in the way.
Another poster said it best "keep us in the loop" not weekly or every month but it would be nice to know whats going on.
@Wolfthulhu yes my posts on facebook have been removed or ignored. They were as polite as possible.
To all I hope this explains my fustration about Adamant in particular and Kick-starters in general

Oh, I know Sasha has seen the posts you're referencing.

I would just like to say that I appreciate the candidness and lack of attitude that both Sasha and Steve have shown in this thread. Owning up to mistakes and working to correct them is something I very much respect and I think it's a sign of character to be willing to do it.

I didn't see anything on their FB page or Adamants home site.
Ooh, and if it releases this month with Far West,m, as well as DCC RPG, I'll have a lot of reading to do. Let's hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed.

Gareth posted yesterday that it is one of the scheduled releases for April.
To throw a damper on that, when he has bothered to write anything about it at all over the past year, it's been coming "next month" or "later this month". For a solid year.
I consider it vaporware until I'm actually looking at the PDF.

Cynical, but I can't disagree with you. A number of us feels the same way.

I know it is not a pathfinder edition but there is another project for the grandfather of post apocalyptic RPGs Metamorphosis Alpha Kickstarter Project.
I have been looking for a new version of a post apocalyptic type game for awhile now and I was hoping for Warlords of the Apocalypse (and I am still hoping). I first found out about Jim Ward's new version about a year ago when they were thinking of doing a 4E version of the game, They have since decided to use their on game system instead. It is (at the time of this post ) 50% funded.

I have a friend that pledged for MA the other day and while it's probably unfounded, but when I think of 'dice pool' systems requiring only one type of dice, I imagine it being the equivalent of Exalted's d10 system. I didn't like rolling up to 30 dice simultaneously to hit a certain range of numbers and added them up to see if I successfully accomplished something. Turned me off quickly.
I would be curious if there's more explicit detail as to how their proprietary system will work, though.

So here's something interesting, the main site has been updated. I find this quote from Facebook interesting and a bit ironic:
"The redesign of the Adamant Entertainment website is complete, expanded to cover everything we're doing:
http://www.adamantentertainment.com/"
The ironic part is there is no mention anywhere I can find about WotA. Which we've been told repeatedly that it is being worked on. If I missed it please point it out to me.

And in other news related to Adamant, Rick Hershey has left the Far West project. Gareth listed that it was for personal reasons. This will of course cause a delay with that project as they move to fill the art he hadn't finished yet. So I'm sure this will set WotA back as well since Far West seems to be the new hotness that must be done first.

I’m sorry so many people wasted their time on this game and company. Hopefully everyone got a refund, if not then write it up as a loss and move on.

I think this energy should be directed to proven companies which already have PA games out there.
A few games I like - Mutant Epoch by Outland Arts is fun game (non-d20), well supported and innovative. If you want the true Gamma World successor (and influenced by the likes of Wasteland and Fallout 1/2) PA game with loads of campaign and supporting material that is compatible with 3.5 you should look into Darwin’s World (Covey/Davis) which IMO is one of the best written PA games out there.
I guess the trick would be to get the guys at RPG Objects to come out with a full Pathfinder version of the rules - but damn, these guys are good.
I know that Davis is running a DW scenario at GenCon with a Pathfinder conversion but I really wish he would go ahead make a Pathfinder rules conversion already
