That's why the rules specify that "A suit of armor's environmental protections last for a number of days equal to its item level (minimum 1 day)." This was an issue in the initial playtest version, so you may want to make sure you're not looking at that by mistake.

I can't speak for your search, but I can speak for what google's AI gave me when I google searched out of curiousity. And the sources it gave were info about general PF2 compatibility and them being in 1e Starfinder. The other part of it that triggered my AI BS meter is that Paizo wouldn't say "gnolls are in Galactic Ancestries", they'd say "Kholos are in Galactic Ancestries".

Obligatory don't trust AI search, yada yada yada. Your AI search is probably just sourcing that from the general PF2 combability with SF2, or both of them appearing in Starfinder Enhanced for 1e. All the ancestries that have been confirmed from PF2 are from Player Core 1 (ex. elf, goblin, leshy) so I would calibrate your expectations to the PC1 options in terms of PF2 ancestries making appearances. More support for Vlaka I think is more realistic, its just a question of if they're going to give more support to the Galaxy Guide ancestries or just the Player Core ones.

While it definitely would be neat to have more 1e APs converted to 2e, I think Paizo's experience converting Kingmaker to 2e means its not likely to happen anytime soon. There may be another possibility for your players to experience the return of Tar-Baphon in 2e. The first adventure of the Claws of the Tyrant adventure anthology features a few survivors of Lastwall emerging into the Gravelands after hiding in a crypt for years. Perhaps that adventure with some sort of action prologue could serve as an introduction to that particular change in the setting.

A fairly minor bug admittedly, but the The Enmity Cycle cover art on the store page is very low-res. This is also true of the store page for the PDF as well.

My main issue with that argument is simply that responding in English implies doing something to respond. If you do rule they can respond without stepping, bear in mind that they still can't benefit from another tactic that turn.

As I recall, Guns & Gears Remastered originally was going to be included in the subscription, but enough people complained about buying a product twice that they changed it shortly before release. If you have a PDF of the original book, you should have access to a PDF of the Remastered version in your library.

While squadmates are defined as allies of the commander, the Tactics class feature does mention that "You count as one of your squadmates for the purposes of participating in or benefiting from a tactic (though you do not count against your own maximum number of squadmates)." I always interpreted the other in "other squadmates" as modifying commander, but I can see the argument for it modifying allies.

Unlike say, fire, which you can probably improvise with a torch or something after you've beat a troll unconscious. Parties (pre-remaster) may have made sure they can do good damage because it's effective against fiends. But preparing for inevitables is not really something people normally have top of mind. Yep, and there are multiple APs that drop them or similar creatures into the adventure without giving anyone a chance to pick up a chaotic rune beforehand.

Impossible Magic, the Pathfinder Gen Con Release (Store Page)2. Lost Omens: High Seas (Store Page), not sure when this will be out but sometime later this year. 3. For the Starfinder line there's going to be a book about Absalom Station (Store Page) also releasing at Gen Con.

Hell's Destiny, Troubles in Grayce, and Tales from the Vast all don't have store pages despite being announced products. Although there is at least one third party distributor who does have store pages for them.

As I recall the playtest dropped early to let people have the playtest classes at launch. RPG books tend to have a development timeline of two years, so I wouldn't read too much into the year between the playtest and release.

The plausibility of scaling issue is why I had issues with Siege of the Dinosaurs in the middle of Extinction Curse. Being in a town at least 5 levels lower than us and having combat encounters with creatures that were our level or higher made our progress as characters feel like we were on a treadmill than a ladder. Most other APs I've played or run have managed to avoid this issue.

They're spontaneous casters. You can tell because they have signature spells and their spellcasting text doesn't refer to preparing from their list. While Paizo uses the term spontaneous casters in the general rules, I don't think I've ever actually seen a class in PF2 or SF2 actually say it is one in their class description.

I believe all the art in the AP assumes Abomination Vaults is the 1-10 AP. I don't recall the AP giving any AP specific advice beyond the advice for the nemesis in book 1, which for Gatewalkers assumes the nemesis is a shadow of Osoyo.

I don't see a section for reviews on subscription pages either. I do see them on other product pages. There have been other users who have reported that adblock causes them to be unable to see customer reviews, so if you can't see reviews for all product pages than its probably your adblock.

The $5 price for Great Toy Heist is for the print version of the adventure. Paizo's new webstore doesn't support having store pages for free stuff so now the Free RPG Day adventure PDFs are just hosted online. Some appear to be linked on the store page for the print edition (like Great Toy Heist), but that seems to be inconsistent currently. I do think the Free RPG Day adventures are pretty great. Personally I really enjoyed Little Trouble in Big Absalom and Threshold of Knowledge.

If you want to go more in depth, this is a spreadsheet someone made comparing creatures between Monster Core 1 and Bestiary 1. As you can see, Monster Core is largely reprints with tweaks of Bestiary 1 and 2, with some reprints from other sources and some new creatures. I believe Monster Core 2 is the same but with Bestiary 2 and 3 creatures. At this point the main value in the old bestiaries is OGL staples like owlbears and mimics, but those you can also just use Nethys for.

Rotfell's advice is pretty great. The one thing I'll add is don't forget you can steal stuff from PF2 when needed! I'm trying to convert Dawn of Flame to 2e and there's a lot of elementals there and only a handful of elementals in Starfinder 2e at present. But there's a whole bunch of fire elementals in PF2 that I can draw on.

Your reward tier for Paizo Plus, which gives the 15% discount, was supposed to count previous store purchases but I haven't heard from a single person where that actually worked. I contacted Paizo customer service about it for my account and was told it was a known issue they were working on fixing. (As a reminder, this forum thread is tracking Known Issues) The 15% off sitewide sale going on right now is also meant to be a stopgap while they fix the issue.

Currently the items under My Subsciptions are not hyperlinked. It would be great if the books and subs on that page linked to the store page. For instance so I could see what the next item of my Starfinder Adventure Sub was, or see the description of a book that I'm getting.

Most new weapons that come out these days seem to exist to give some sort of mechanical flair to a culture, ancestry, or organization. Your boarding pike example is from the PFS Guide, and is a way for someone to say "I'm from the Arcadia Mariner's Lodge." Those that aren't that seem to be ideas to give people character ideas, like the battlelute. While most folks don't look at the weapons list before making a character, I know I wouldn't have thought to play a halfling chef/assassin if Paizo hadn't released the frying pan as a weapon. That said, the weapon system is definitely a sacred cow that exists because its the way Paizo's always done it and to keep continuity with PF1/3.5. I've recently played and enjoyed Draw Steel's system which boils weapons down to categories like Light, Medium, Heavy, Bow, Polearm and lets you flavor how you like.

You're missing Firelion's suggestion to house rule the action tax of picking up weapons away. Our group has a similar house rule we refer to as "sticky weapons". Being knocked prone and having the wounded condition is something our group finds punishing enough without the extra action tax to retrieve dropped weapons.
