I thought GMs and (and book 3 players) may be interested in this as a little campaign bonus. As part of a larger series in Godsrain events I made a newspaper following
It contains:
- Review of the show
- An interview
- Exemplar options
- Animist options
- thematic vintage ads
- Basilisk Varisian Run and Encarthan Lake updates
I'm curious what people may think so I'm offering it for forum users with this coupon for $0.99 on Pathfinder Infinite.

It's gonna take me months to work through this!
Now with Foundry!

One quick thought. I know you said the FCU will have no changes but be in parallel... However just to make things absolutely clear that it will be blocking nothing -and the CUP is what handles things instead- would it perhaps make sense to either strike Requirement 2? Or at least modify it to mention the Community Use Policy as another thing you would use instead of the FCU?

Paizo, thank you for listening to the community and reinstating the CUP with merely some housekeeping updates. And thank you community for responding so quickly and clearly to make it so clear this was concerning. Going to echo a few others here in saying there is nothing like a good dialogue. I can only hope for future community changes there may be a commentary period.

After reading Curtain Call player's guide I was so excited, I convinced some of my writer friends to help me... Play Around! In this title we create new class options tuned for the Curtain Call adventure path. Sign up to be the first to hear all about it in early August.
Heck, we've only written for a quarter of them, so if anyone has any requests I'm open to a little audience participation.

Very exciting to see so many new Infinite writers!

Godsrain Contingencies (7) Zon-Kuthon is out now!
The expunging of Zon-Kuthon leaves a divided Nidal, but the world feels his “death” moreso in the wake of Shelyn’s mourning. I originally thought these were a tie in to get us excited for War of Immortals, but still separate fiction.
But the further we get, like Yivali, I do wonder if these are part of the meta-event and meaning to influence peoples attitudes or events.

I love this. This is the best "Death" for Zon-Kuthon, and while these are winding down nice to see there's some flexibility in the meaning of death.
But then of course it sets off so many other things, we still get to that fall out and another kind of grief.

NGL, took a few tries to come up with something that struck just the right tone. And looking across a few thesaurusus. I was kinda afraid no one would like these, because they're all for not real events... but, if they're for a back up plan, contingencies, just maybe people may be interested in some fun extra options.

Godsrain Contingencies (6) Nethys is out now!
Nethys has ripped magic, creating hollows across the globe and wild magic beyond them. Most people struggle to adapt with either losing their magic or struggling amid a world without it, but a handful have become inundated by the backlash instead. How will you choose to adapt?

Ah heck yes!
Guessing Archive of Nethys update lining up with Nethys prophecy is gonna pay off!
Two of my new doctrines in Godsrain Contingencies assume little to no spellcasting! The overlap is real.
Now I can have all sorts of fun with magical alternatives for everyone, not just our clerics.

Meet, cutting it close this week! Was being chased by my own beasts...
Godsrain Contingencies (5) Erastil and the Unbidden Beast out now!
In the wake of Erastil’s death a beast has risen and the hunt is on. But is it for the beast, or from it? Who will join and who will leave? What gods will rise and which will fall? And as the gods linger out of reach, how will the Forsaken Cleric’s move on in life?
People who've already purchased can head back on over to Pathfinder Infinite to download your updates. For people who're interested now, purchase it here!
Week 5 is 4+ pages dedicated to new material for a world with retreating gods.
* 1 cleric class archetype, 3 new doctrines
* 1 new deity entry for the Unbidden Beast
* 3 new feats
* 3 faithful reactions
Do you think it is happening in cycles? The gods retreating and people losing theirs faiths... but then is it semi regained, and it happens again? Or is that bit at the end about repurposed or half ruined temples maybe just happens at the end/most recent, when the gods feel ready to return... though we know the monster is still lurking?

You're welcome!
Either this substantiates that the prophecies provide some hints of what is to come (which just don't know which the truths are and all the ones that aren't)...
or Mark is lower case evil for teasing us.
Whelp, I'm out of the pool.
Neat how this one shows a world with gods going on the defensive. It feels like we're getting closer to pieces of what War is the Immortals may look like. Perhaps not thai exaggerated, but where do the alliances drawn, defenses fall.

Well, that would have fit with my idea of Urgathoa coming back in or shortly before Starfinder time, having to make ends meet working in a pizza parlor while slowly working her way up to divinity . . . .

Mark Moreland wrote: The Raven Black wrote: My own theory is that Paizo decides on who the next deity will be based on the comments following the previous deity's blog post. While that would have been fun (for me especially), the art department made all the versions of the Days of Future Past poster at once, so we had to tell them who should be marked "safe" in each subsequent version. In general, we operate too far ahead of time to actually pull something like that off without putting a lot of extra work on just about everyone in the process to drop what they're doing and pick up the thread for the next installment. Makes sense. Get this fully outlined and streamlined through the teams in advance.

I like that. I was kinda debating how upset Geb would be over losing all his "quick" uhhhh, let's say workforce. But thinking about it at the more divine scale is even more spicy.
Am I over reading this... but in this scenario do people not realize Urgathoa is dead?
Prophecy wrote: Others search for patterns, narrow in on who or what is to blame, let something they don’t understand consume their baser instincts, and rain fire down on those they think have brought this new world forth. Are people too busy trying to survive the undead, they may not even realize she's gone?

Watching Asmodeus undo Ihys "damage" would be pretty fascinating actually. Would he be able to get everything back to how it was?
Would he even want it to be the same?

I'm seeing quotes both ways, but I'm team there's kernels if not a whole lot of truth here. Just not the actual dying part.
I know I am woefully remiss in my Pathfinder tales reading, but, at least on the descriptions I've skimmed I don't recall _anything_ with godly pov. Please point me to where it is if I'm missing it, cause I need more, now that I have tasted. And I am soaking this in. How can I know a character truly until I've seen through their eyes? And as these prophecies are seeming to reveal, potentially their greatest fear / anxieties.
Golarion has always been a neat varied setting but this is dragging me deeper, and I am here for it.
First of all, fantastic. Erin, I am adoring your work here.
And what a way for Cayden to go. HolyFlamingo! I really think you go something there of how it's turning around the gods innards. Maybe that's why I'm really having so much fun digging in, and I think these explorations are so relevant, and not just a neat way of saying "hey, they're saved!"
But ooohhh this timing is funny.
I was just reading a series with a more modern take on how to from belief become a god. DFZ Changeling, why are these fairies invading my urban fantasy, and what the heck you're using multimedia to capture get eyes on what now?
So you know my brain is already stewing...

The next update for Godsrain Contingencies is available!
Check out what the world is like with Asmodeus passing and the rise of Ihys, doing Hell his way. In addition to the Pharasma mterial from last week, take a look at new feats, items, the Contract Overrider archetype, and of course new worship options for former Asmodeans, including a deity entry for Ihys.
People who've already purchased can head back to your library and download your updates. For everyone else it's available here for $2.99 till the next god falls.
Pronate11 wrote: My question, is Ihys powerful enough to grant clerics? Because I would love to worship the future lord of hell. I mean, everything is always up to your GM, but spoilers, Ihys is getting a deity entry in Godsrain Contingencies. The more I looked at this, he isn't simply stepping into Asmodeus's powers, it's going to be an interesting blend.
For Pharasma her clerics needed to find new gods because she was gone. In this scenario, _some_ of Asmodeus's clerics may not be on board with new management...
