As the group moves back out into the hallway to investigate the grinding noise, Palomia makes a sound that's not quite a laugh and not quite a cry of disgust upon seeing what's left of 'Durvin' splattered on the floor. "Huh. I'll take that as my 'someone answers for this' toll, then. Serves him right."

"Well, someone sure had delusions of grandeur," Palo snorts as she studies the carvings on the floor. "That's supposed to be Akmajet leading those undead hordes against ancient Sothis. Not sure who the other figures are, but I guess they fell out of favor with Akmajet at some point. Unfortunately, I can't read what the text says. Really should start studying Osiriani next..."
She pauses to look at the rest of the group. "None of what's depicted here actually happened, though - that's what I meant by delusions of grandeur. Anyway, that seems to be everything, right? We should probably head back out and report back."
In her free time Palomia does some work for various peoples as a scrivener, having found that her knack for languages to be especially useful for such things.
"Sure, I'll take one," Palomia nods. "Never hurts to have a little backup in case magical energies run low."
Perception (DC 14):1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Palomia snickers as much at Felinzi's antics as she does at the ridiculous appearance of the statues. "Whoever crafted this had a strange sense of humor. I like it."
She obligingly steps back a few paces as the kobold goes to manipulate the skeletal arms, motioning for Relas to do the same. "Be careful, alright?"
"Argh...someone's gonna answer for this..." Palo groans as Dr. Croaker's aid brings her back to the waking world. She slowly climbs to her feet and makes a bit of a show of dusting herself off before looking around to gauge the group's general status. "Is everyone else okay? I've still got this scroll..."
Healing Stuff:
Palo will use her scroll of Heal to further patch herself up. If no one else is injured, she'll do the 2-action version but otherwise she'll do the 3-action cast.
Heal (2-Action; Self):1d8 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Once the healing is managed, she takes a moment to focus and call Relas back to her side.
Thanks to Felinzi's magic, Palomia seems to be in a stable condition, though still unconscious. Relas is nowhere to be seen, though anyone watching recalls seeing him appear to vanish from existence the moment Palo dropped.
Palomia once more tries to conjure an aura of cold around the statue...

The statue gets a DC 16 Basic Fort save against the damage; on a critical failure it also gains Weakness 1 to bludgeoning until the start of Palo's next turn.
Meanwhile, Palomia is rather dismayed that they can't seem to put any additional dents into the statue. With her own life force waning due to her connection with Relas, she has little choice but to pull out the scroll she'd picked up earlier and make use of it.
Though her nose is no longer bleeding thanks to the good Doctor, Palomia certainly doesn't need to be told twice to get clear of the statue. She stumbles back and gestures wildly at Relas.
"Get in there and help Arn!"
The eidolon is quick to comply, circling around behind the statue to flank with Arn, while Palo scowls and brings her magic to bear. She focuses on the statue and conjures an orb of coldness that coalesces around it...

While I'm admittedly missing some context, I've engaged in enough cross-table & cross-character banter myself that I definitely 'get' it and am not put out by seeing it :)
"Oh, I didn't know Eando had a son," Palomia remarks, trying to keep from smirking at the man. "Learn something new every day, don't we? And surely named after 'the' Durvin then - it makes sense, given everything he accomplished with the Society and all."
Palomia steps back from the trapped tile, giving Felinzi room to work, and glares at Relas. "Hey, that could've almost happened to anyone, okay? I'll note that you didn't spot it either!"
Palomia (and Relas as well) both peer over Auntie's shoulder to look at the permit, also curious about its implications.
Great. We'd better get in there and put a stop to whatever these shenanigans are.
"Hmph. We're here now so we may as well make the best of it and catch up. I'm sure the 'head Pathfinder' could still use help cataloging the interior."
"That's right," Palo agrees with an approving nod. "It's on us to actually get the job done but it's in their best interests to give us as much support as they can to *help* us get the job done!"
Noticing that Arn seems to be peering around, she adds, "Are you looking for something else?"
"So...that's it, then? Just go out there and investigate this dig site? That...doesn't sound too bad, actually, heat notwithstanding," Palo remarks, looking thoughtful. "And it'd be great to get to examine any writings up close."
When it comes time to visit the quartermaster, Palomia also picks up a scroll of Heal - just in case.
Haven't had a chance to really dig into my Player Core PDF yet but as Palo's a summoner I don't think there's anything I need to change or update with her anyway *except* maybe spells. Will note accordingly if that's the case.
"Auuuughhhhh, it's too hot," Palomia groans as she wanders into the freshly-steam-cleaned section of the lodge. "And it's even worse in here! It's like a sauna! Why would anyone want a sauna in this heat!?" She pauses to wipe her face with her sleeve and then looks around. As she spots the two grippli and the kobold, she looks surprised but not unpleasantly so.
"Oh! It's you three again. Didn't think I'd see any of you again so soon."
"Yep. Relas, c'mon!" Palomia hollers before hustling after Auntie and Felinzi. Relas is also happy to beat feet and hurries after his summoner.

Satisfied that the folks in the immediate vicinity are sufficiently cowed, Palomia takes a step towards another section of the pub while Relas tries again to strike Blue...
...but he can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn. Meanwhile, Palo narrows her eyes at another section of the crowd. "Keep to your business if you know what's good for you."
I *think* I got the action economy for Act Together correct (first time playing a 2e summoner) but please let me know if I did not. I also had someone talking at me literally the entire time I was trying to compose that post which didn't help my concentration any :|
Palo grimaces at the thick aftertaste the drink has but otherwise doesn't seem fazed in the slightest. "That'll kick a hole in your skull for sure! Nothing like rail liquor..."
Really? That's adorable and kind of hilarious, in my opinion! That said, I appreciate you asking permission. Speaking purely for myself, I'm fine with it; Palo is going to think it's weird and probably be a bit blunt about saying so. I've got other characters, however, who would enjoy it in a strictly platonic sense if they were here :)
"This is actually kind of fancy, in its own way," Palo remarks with some surprise as the group makes their way to the Last Catch and over to join Stella at her table. "But I guess this town gets a lot of sea-worthy folks so it makes sense."
She's not really sure what Stella means about cleaner fish and sharks...
Is that a threat or a warning?
...but decides to wait and see how the meeting proceeds before making up her mind. "A toast? Sure, one can't hurt, right?" She picks up her mug and takes a drink.
"And it's stupid, acting like they've got something to prove and that pushing someone around who might not be able to fight back is gonna do the trick," Palo scowls. "That's not a show of power, it's a show of cowardice. So people like that need to be disabused of that notion right quick - with words if you can, but if a kick in the teeth is what's needed to prove the point then I can live with that. Either way, maybe they'll learn a lesson and start putting their energy to good use."
"Hi. I'm Palomia, this is Relas," Palo offers, gesturing to herself and then the panther of modest size sitting next to her. "Don't worry, he doesn't actually bite anyone that doesn't deserve it."
Though the two grippli seem to have the situation well handled, Palomia sighs and rolls her eyes. "Okay Relas, you know what to do."
She moves to stand just next to Auntie and Dr. Croaker, crossing her arms over her chest as she does. Relas sits next to her, giving the thugs a very piercing stare. "Take their advice and move along...unless you're up for being Relas' playthings for a while. I'm sure he'd appreciate that, right Relas?"
Palomia comes up spluttering after being heaved overboard like a sack of taters but at least she has little trouble treading water. Before making her way towards the sandbar she takes the opportunity to make a rude gesture back at those on the ship.
As she climbs out of the water she's quite thankful for Dr. Croaker's speed-drying abilities. "Much better, thank you! Gonna give those guys a piece of my mind if or when I see them again..."
"Oh, you found a crate? Maybe it's full of rum or something," Palo remarks hopefully. "Afraid I'm fresh out of crowbars, though."
"Pass on that one.. coffee gives me palpitations."
Palomia takes a good look at the man, noting his condition, and makes a surprisingly sympathetic face. "That's rotten luck. Next time they want you to sail somewhere, see if they'll at least pay up for something to help you with the seasickness."
"Until then, all I can recommend is ginger ale...or maybe the good doctor here has some herbal tea that'll help?" She looks to Dr. Croaker and shrugs.

Now
"Whoa whoa whoa, what? You want us to just swim over there?" Palomia repeats, astonished. "What if there's sharks or something??"
The woman, human with shoulder-length dirty blonde hair, looks up, a bit startled. Her eyes, one a brilliant green and the other an icy blue, regard the pair of gripplis as well as the panther sitting nearby. "Huh? Oh, right, coffee. Sure, why not? It's certainly early enough for it." Though rather pretty, the woman's beauty is diminished by the tired and somewhat sour expression she wears on her face. A sigil on her hand pulses with a gentle light; the panther bears the same sigil on his forehead.
She slides off the barrel and brushes herself off before giving the panther a stern look. "Relas, you get one cup. ONE. You remember what happened last time, right?"
