Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 Ovid grins and swings his spear through his new opponents. Five Storms(vs Reflex) vs SI1, SI2 and SI3(I assume on of the twos was supposed to be a 1): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 241d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 271d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Crit, that's 14 + 1d6 ⇒ 14 + (1) = 15 damage to SI2, and for Flurry of Blows, 4 damage to the one I assume is SI1 and slide to M20.

"You can handle one ghost, right Corpus? I'll go deal with that fool." Ovid ducks away from the ghost and runs back to the entrance. One kick to get the ghost out of the way, then he loops the end of his spear behind the traitorous drow's knee, causing him to stumble forward. Dancing Cobra, move to K24(OA from St3) and attack Gh1(vs Reflex), on a hit 4 damage to Naubos and slide him to K25: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 251d10 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

I've lost the temp HP from Harmonious Discepline, so +2 damage to my next attack. Ovid seems to simply fall back into his own shadow, only to reappear behind Corpus and the ghost. Then, with a flick of his wrist he slashes at his foes with lashes of shadow. Minor, draw my spear. Move, Shadow Jaunt to I8(insubstantial until EOMNT). Standard, Masterful Spiral(vs Reflex, close burst 2, enemies only, force damage, Miss: Half damage, Effect: I have +1 reach until end of encounter) vs J, Gh1, E, Gh2, and G: Rolls:
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 231d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 181d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 181d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 161d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 273d8 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 1, 1) + 6 + 2 = 14 EDIT: Crit on G, 32 + 1d6 ⇒ 32 + (3) = 35 Force damage to G. EDIT EDIT: 4 damage to E from Flurry of Blows.

Meanwhile, Ovid darts forward and attacks the genasi viciously while her back is turned. Open The Gates Of Battle, move to H11 and attack(vs Reflex, extra damage if target uninjured): 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 2 = 102d10 + 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (1, 10) + (4) + 6 = 21 Or I could miss horribly. That's always an option.
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
Ovid dashes forward and throws a shuriken at the halflings. Move to H15 with the movement portion of Dancing Cobra, activate Harmonious Discipline(2 temp HP) and a ranged basic attack on J(Forgot to include the bonuses from my ki focus on my sheet, so they're here.): 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 10 - 2 = 171d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Spending one surge. I also have 18 AC, but since I'm also in melee most of the time I'll take the Robe. Amelia wrote:
I needed a multiclass that gave Stealth, and Ovid's from a sect that practices sinister shadow-based magic. It was an obvious choice. (Why did I just reference a one-off image from a webcomic? Oh, yeah, no life.)
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
Ovid darts across the room and once again halts the human's advance. Dancing Cobra, move to G20(provoking an OA, AC 20) and attack(vs Reflex, 2 more damage if target attempts an OA on me), 4 damage and slide H4 to I20 on a hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 111d10 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 2 = 16
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
Ovid simply smiles and launches himself at the guards, sweeping through their ranks. Harmonious Discipline(minor, 2 temp HP, +2 damage to next attack after temp HP removed), move to L21 and use Five Storms(vs Reflex, close burst 1), 4 damage to H2 and slide to N22 if hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 201d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 201d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 Crit, 14 + 1d6 ⇒ 14 + (6) = 20 damage to H4
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
Ovid leaps from cavern wall to the side of the ledge and back again, attempting to reach the ledge. Hopefully wall jumping counts as an Acrobatics stunt and not a plain Athletics check. If this parkour/wire-fu thing I'm attempting is Athletics, just subtract 7 from the roll. Acrobatics to move to K13: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
I only made two attack rolls. The other two were damage rolls that I only rolled out of a sense of obligation. Also, I meant to go to L11, I don't know why I put something different. Oh, and I forgot about the ranged basic attacks some of us have because they're dull. If half the party wasn't immobilized, I'd recommend that we all just run past them and search the wagons because it just isn't worth the effort killing them when we can just pass by them to reach the wagon.
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
So, twenty feet up means I can't teleport up to the ledges, meaning only two people in the party have a chance of attacking them without having to climb up. I see a lot of failed Athletics checks in our future. Anyway, sorry for my inattentiveness, on with the show. Minor, Harmonious Discipline(2 temp HP and +2 damage to the next attack after the temp HP are taken off), then move to L8, (triggering OAs, +2 to all defenses against OAs) and use Five Storms(vs Reflex, close burst 1) (4 damage from Flurry pf Blows goes to the minion I didn't attack hit, if any): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 261d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 111d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 131d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
Ovid continues to assault the tentacles. Time for Five Storms, attacking as many as possible: Spoiler:
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 191d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 191d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 161d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 71d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 You know, I'm uniquely unsuited to this skill challenge, what with the complete lack of relevant skills and with all the enemies' defenses being effectively 20 when I'm using Implement-based attacks.
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
None of my skills are that relevant, so I'm just going to beat the tentacles. Also, as a being native to the Shadowfell I would presumably know if we just got sent there, correct? "Nice place you have here. Homey." Ovid makes his way to the altar, the shadows clinging to him like black cobwebs. "Bit too many tentacles for my taste. Let's see what I can do about that." Ovid swings his arm, and the shadows scythe through the tendrils. Moving to the altar if possible and using Masterful Spiral. Burst 2, so I think I can get all of the tentacles in the burst. (vs Reflex, Force damage until the end of the encounter I have reach 2) Block of Rolls: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 241d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 141d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 161d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 131d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 141d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 181d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 141d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 141d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 81d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 121d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 241d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 61d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 181d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 101d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 213d8 + 5 ⇒ (5, 2, 4) + 5 = 16

Vernal DeWynter wrote: EDIT: Ovid, you surely can. I went for flavour and took the Cha build because it synced in nicely with drow, but I will take another look. If he's going to burn the feat on some kind of weapon proficiency, it might as well be one that keeps him alive longer. They're all Cha builds. You just focused on Wisdom while your mantle choice focuses on Constitution, which is just odd all around. What I'm saying is, get more constitution. You'll live longer.

Fortunately I have Move 8 thanks to Dancing Cobra. Move to H33, slide her to I33 if I hit. Corpus, deal with EE1. Kevaras, stabilize some people. Malize, stop EE2 before it blows something up. Or, you know what, just blow it up. I'll handle the warlock until you all get done in there. EDIT: Yeah, there's a reason Otto uses a halbred in Sleeper. Ardents give out great buffs, but they just aren't that durable. Can I recommend the Constitution build if/when you rebuild him?
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
I'm bloodied too. Specifically, 9/23 HP. Cursebite is deadly when the people your using it on have around 24 HP. Ovid pauses to catch his breath and grins. "Now where do you think you're going?" Ovid dodges around the pew and kicks the woman back towards Corpus' axes. Second Wind(14/23 HP and +2 to all defenses, no longer Bloodied), spend an AP and use Dancing Cobra, move to H27, provoking an OA from Myrissa, and attack(vs Reflex, 2 more damage if she tries to make an OA on me this turn)(Flurry of Blows, 4 damage and slide her to H26): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 161d10 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Male Shadar-Kai Monk 2
"Don't think you're getting out of this without a few bruises, lady!" Ovid ducks past the drow and stabs at the warlock. Open The Gates of Battle: Move to H24(ignore OA from Sdh) and attack(vs Reflex)(4 damage and slide her to F24 if hit): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 153d10 + 5 ⇒ (4, 1, 3) + 5 = 13
