I fear I can't participate in the reboot.
New project at work and participating in too many games already - as the last few weeks have taught me :-/

The enlarged dwarf looks at the speaker and its entourage, expecting one of the others to speak up. As nobody takes the word and the silence stretches, he groans audibly and answers the man.
"Cheeh, I'm Old Snowbeard a' this be the Mountain King", he indicated the unmoving crab atop his walking staff, "and we be here fer finding a good story, some fancy take-away souvenirs.
No idea what Hell's Lady be doin' 'ere, but da others look fer shinies, yaharll!

While he speaks, his white beard flies around as in a stormy wind nobody can feel.

He offers a deep, courteous bow towards Rosa - which looks both parts funny and alarming, given the fact that his beard is still strangling a leopard-thing while he is doing so.
"Yaharll, tat be a line I have to note down.
Not evry day ya get complimented by a fiend-queen, yaharll!"

He turns and looks at the limb form dangling in his beard as if he just noticed.
"Anyone good in questioning ... overgrown cats?
This lad 's still with us.
Maybe ye can get some useful bits out of it and ask it why 'ey were attacking us like crazy, although we did not have a Miceling with us."

On my part, it is likely that I am at (or slightly above) the limit of games I can run with.
I probably should not have get into this game in the first place, but giving the pure awesomeness of it, I really had to xD
I try to get in two posts a week or so but I have a big project looming in front of me at work and I fear that I will have to step back in time to not hold this cool game up.
Or maybe not, as my GM-time in a round-robin table is coming to an end soon, so I may have enough time to stay after all...

The old dwarf starts to mutter under his breath again, as if talking to someone else entirely.
"Aye, t'ere are many.
Flame'em?
Narll, 'ey are too far.
Wat? Gettin' big ya say?
Mhh, yeah, maybe.
Lets do 'at."

After a few muttered, arcane syllabyls and hand gestures, the dwarf gets large, the breads of his white beard flying as if caught in a strong wind.
Maybe your eyes are mistaken, but it seems to be glowing in a very faint, blue shimmer.

Threated-Area is 20ft now.

Still around, but taking a back-seat for a couple of days as I am currently in the process of setting up a new game, which takes much more time than actually running one as every GM probably can tell you.

Thanks for the summary GM!
Hold Fast!: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
As the floor AND ceiling gives way, the dwarf presses against the wall, old fingers burring into the stonework and the dark-wooded staff is used like a climbing hook.
As soon as the rockslide has stopped, Snowbeard cirps and the King sitting atop the staff leaves his unmoving post and starts to grow as its powerful scissors find easy hold in the shaft.
With a groan, the dwarf mounts his mount which then casually climbs down the sheer shaft without any signs of trouble.
Using my familar-mount, refluffed as a riding gecko - which has a climb speed and always-on spider-climb effect - to get down to the others in style.

Snowbeard follows Davian, babbling away, not addressing anyone specifically.

Turning round, the dwarf looks behind and around the corner.
"Narll. Yer shiny new boy-toy a' the old-not-old-maybe-giant a' the multi-dead are takin' the stairs.
How's'it goin' down 'ere?

(Assuming some kind of positive reply)
Old Snowbeards head can be seen looking down and shaking his head, sending the beard flying right and left.
"Narll, Narll!
We do not climb down that.
Wait'a'sec, will ya?"

With that, he rumours in his bag and produces a scroll.
Reading a spell from it, he soon comes gliding down the shaft slowly, carefully avoiding the hazards.

Old Snowbeard is feverishly writing down the Aukans story and Rosas reaction into his notebook.
With a grimace, he turns to Niche as he 'opens' the sarcophagus and starts rumouring around in its inside.
He watches him curiously, like someone would watch a cooking pot, interested whether it will overflow or not.
If nothing happens, he does take several of the massive gems he identified earlier up with his hands covered in cloth.
From the magic items, he collects 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2.
Will have to look into the magic item section.
Instead of one item, could I instead found a stack of scrolls / a spellbook instead?

Ahwww, this is a nice one!: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34
With only one glance, the dwarf is easily able to discern the most valuable gems from the ... others.
He takes 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 massive, green ones and stows them carefully in his back, wrapping a couple of old clothes around each one.

When the group starts discussing the door, Old Snowbeard tries the simple opening charm he knew, not expecting that door to actually open to that. Open/Close Cantrip
Once that failed, he mutters:
"Ehh, tese ruins look'a'lot like tose massive tombs te old Osirian's build in te desrt - nutters if yer asking me.
All filled wit traps, undead a' crazy magicks.

@Wolf: I was rolling to see if Snowbeard can recall anything about that name Rosa found out from his vast collection of memory.
From Historian racial trait, I get a +2 on history and nobility checks if the knowledge may have to do with dwarves, that's why I mentioned it.
But if dwarves have nothing to do with the guy buried here, I simply don't get that +2, but still have a lot of unnecessary highly-situational knowledge crammed in that skull of his :-)

The dwarf has kept a low profile in the fights, keeping enemies pinned-down until one of the others had time to finish them off easily for the most time.
At the words of Rosa he scratches his beard, rumbling on about various dwarven legends or something. Does he tries to remember facts about this Nazarac or is he just filling the eerie silence with background rumouring of words mostly lost in that long, white beard of his?

Old Snowbeard was already awake when Matthew comes to wake him.
As the long-fingered lizard speak up and about a leader, the dwarf grimaces at the new fellows.
At that moment, the heavy-tongued-man steps forward and advises to stick together. By chance, the holy symbol of his goddess slips out of his not-fully closed shirt and then the dwarf remembers what the man had said during their first meeting...
"I say Davian shall lead, yarll!
He be the one talking about unity a' stayin' together.
Most clever word me heard around here since we arrived.
A' he's a follower of the Lady North Star, she who takes care in the travellers.
A' we better pray for some of her luck if we wanting to come back whole, yarrl!"

As the shouting starts, Snowbeard cooks his head and watches the spectacle with unconcealed interest.
As the Varisian man comes to the really interesting parts, the dwarf actually takes out his book and takes notes.

Just imagine it my dear!
A deviless getting chewed out for real by a stocky man with heavy accent.
They spent the last night together and now they are shouting and threatening each other because of a female Tiefling in the appearance of a succubus.
What do you think? Will they marry tomorrow? Or kill each other in the next hour?

With a few more steps, the now quite large, but still old dwarf is within beard-distance of the drake which is trying to overpower the giant - beard distance is now a respectable 20ft mind you.
And then ... the long braids of white hair starts to entwine the beast all by itself!

Frighteningly quickly, the thick braids starts to creep around the neck of the drake and starts to strangle it!

As the battle in the sky gets more serious and rock starts to fall, Old Snowbeard claps shut the book with a groin and side-steps a major rock during the process of stowing it in his backpack.

Eying the not-dragons, he rumbles a series of arcane-empowered sylabylls and starts to grow to twice the size of your average dwarf.

As everyone is mounting (or rise up to flap-flap) the crab sitting atop Old Snowbeard walking cane scuttles down.
A blink of an eye later, it grows in size until it is the size of a horse - or maybe a little bit larger.

Jup. Unless you manage to make an all-trici-pony who is for all intents and purposes as (or more) powerful than everyone else, there will be times where someone else is going to shine.

Old Snowbeard is a grappler and debuffing - lots of it coming via times cold damage spells, non-lethal damage and entorcer-fuelled intimidation.
Against undead ... Tough luck for me. They are immune to frostz most mind affecting and non-lethal damage.
I imagine that our noble halfling will have a good old time against those.
I second as witch debuffer (misfortune and cackle anyone?) and walking library due to my obscene number of skill points and into modifier but I severely lack ranged capabilities.
But, you just wait until I get a Spellcaster into my beard.
He must make two (!) Concentration checks against my CMD and cannot use any spell that requires either a material or vocal component ...

@Rosa: I don't think you *must* change your char either.
While that attack came across as ... well, evil ... that is totally on the table for an evil character, eh?
And she didn't know about the poisonous glass sextoy, did she?
It would just have been an ordinary kick-to-the-nutseggs otherwise - probably painful but in no ways life threatening.

As I started reading the IC I was really intrigued by the interplay between Rosa the hellhound and our halfling paladin.
As long as everyone is aboard and no side is going too far, inter-party-twists can be a lot of fun and heavily rewarding RP experience.

At dawn, you find the white-bearded dwarf sitting leaned against a rock, smoking a seriously ornamented wooden pipe and reading in a huge tome, obviously a spellbook.
It is enveloped in green leather which origin one can only guess and is quietly murmuring to himself.
He did sleep during 3rd watch but seems to be awake since then, his eyes like two rock crystals in the darkness of night.

To the likely surprise of the elf, Old Snowbeard addresses Lidras in elven. Sure, the rough voice of the dwarf is not exactly made for the fine syllables of the elven tongue, but he is obviously well-versed in it.

Nagy's Background
As a younger child, Nagy was always very outgoing and carefree. He was well-liked by most adults and many children. Ever since the forest incident, though, Nagy has become more serious. He feels he should have been able to somehow help Taya from getting lost and frightened, but he was off with the other children. With his early growth and strength, he sees himself as a protector of his sisters, Rosylle and Taya, even though Taya is several years older. With respect to Taya, this is manifest in accompanying her to town whenever his duties with the horses permit, keeping a close eye on the men passing through, often watching them as they drink at the Stag. He also takes quick offense at any perceived slight to either sister, and ends up in many a fight with other children. While he loses as often as he wins, he has become no less assertive.

After the episode in the barn, Nagy is even more antagonistic with Jerrid and his cohorts. This occasionally escalates to violence, but more often -- as Jerrid is none too sure about the wisdom of attacking Nagy directly -- pranks, such as when some of Jerrid's friends stole Nagy's clothes while he was swimming. He was too humiliated to explain to anyone what had happened when he got home.

Later, several of his friends disappeared in the woods. Nagy and Taya were part of the search party, but Nagy got separated and lost until Running Fox found him, cold and hungry, a week later. Nagy was especially distressed that Taya had been in trouble at the same time and he had not been around.

Description
Nagy is tall for his age, with a shock of red hair that must have skipped at least one generation. He is already showing signs of being broad of shoulder as he grows. He usually wears simple work clothes.
