Clever Feint: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 Unless it is a CR1 with a Sense Motive modifier of 7 or less, that fails. It is flat-footed to me only until the end of my next turn.

Sorry, work went late yesterday, getting me home basically in time to leave for my Boy Scout Troop meeting, and then when I got home my wife had passed out and I had to be on formal grandchild watching duty until Mom got back from work, and by that time it was 2 hours after my bed time . . ..

Today I'm just tired. Glad to see you got past that fight without more form me.

Envoy Inspiring Boost to restore 6 SP to Ghiv. Again, assuming 4 of 14 isn't a typo.

The Lashunta pulls a grenade and tosses it near the feet of whomever represents the center of their line.

Rules say TN 5 to target a grid intersection. 20' range increment, so, right on it, and 15' explosion radius.

Throw Grenade: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Explosion, piercing physical damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

And I think the low damage is the trade-off for the ease of placement.

Ghiv's distraction bonus would make that an 11. Still probably not enough, but I'l roll damage anyway.

After double-checking the arrangement of his stuff in his pack and making sure the closures are all sealed, Oettel checks the battery charge on his suit and weapon while he tries to remember what special spices or delicacies can be found on Nakonois. Oh, and idly considering that big building, too.

As Vetch continues to claim to be so much more important than he really could be, Oettel just covers his face with his left hand as he turns to return to the bridge. "Well, for now we're supposed to be delivering some cargo, yes? Let's see if we can't get back to that while these two take the drones apart."

In Starfinder, Flat-footed is simpler than that. While Flat-footed you can take no reactions, and you suffer a flat -2 to your ACs.

The daydream of spending more time in a pastry shop with Cedona broken by the sudden invasion of the ship, Oettel pulls his girth out of the captain's chair and heads back with the others, pulling his Arc Pistol as he goes.

The hostile intent of the drones made clear, Oettel decides to try to make things easier for his companions, and feints at the drone which fired first.
