Octaris tries to shoo the excited dragon back through the portal. "The wysps will follow us if they want." Octaris encourages the wysps to follow with a combination of gesticulation and friendly words in Auran and Aquan.

Octaris happily spends time looking through the books, although his attention wanders somewhat and he turns quickly from one text to another.

"Oh, what's this? 'Concerning the Respiration of Mephtis'?" Octaris leafs through the tome... "Poppycock and codswallop! We don't do that at all! What else have we got here?"

Octaris uses Create Water basic hydrokinesis to conjure water above one of the open pipes, just to see if he can work out where it goes.

Octaris still has Tongues active so will attempt to communicate. On mobile at the moment so can't move on map, but will approach communicative wyrds.

"Hey, what's going on with this place? I am Octaris the mighty Water Wizard, and my associates here from the Concordance of Elements are here to investigate and explore. I know, for I am wise and very clever, that there is a disturbance in the elements. What have you seen that is different or unusual here?"

So all objects are now secured, but there are two hostile wyrds, white and orange.

Octaris tries to help pacify the orange wyrd nearby, whilst holstering his Wand of Tongues in his belt.

"Hey, that's a rubbish game! Let's play 'chase the sky-ship' instead! That's our ship over there, come with us and play!"

With the maps secured, or at least stabilised, Octaris makes his way towards the wyrd next to the food and drink supply. Fly, one move action.

"Hello my friend! I, the great and powerful wizard Octaris, would be glad to show you the choicest morsels from amongst our store in exchange for your assistance as a guide. What is your name, friend? What do you call this place?"

Octaris is using Tongues. Not sure if skill checks are called for? I have only taken a single move action assuming that spoken interaction occupies some time and counts as an action.

Octaris spends much of his time poring over his spellbook, often whilst luxuriating in his bathtub, which he fills with conjured water.

When in the tub, he can be seen in conversation with a small blue-ringed octopus:

You're not kidding, there's not much healing resource. However, Ember has Fast Healing 1, looks like constantly. Octaris has Fast Healing 2 when in water, and limitless use of Create Water, so with a little creativity out of combat should be ok. Ember has 15 charges of CLW on a wand. We probably each have enough gold to afford a scroll or two of CLW as well, and most of the party can cast or UMD that.

GM, Octaris would like to buy 2 scrolls of Cure Light Wounds please (50gp). Then he's ready to go.
