"I thought maybe you were a little touched in the head but you weren't kidding", the worg offers a bit more articulately. "The gods really do speak to you. What... How... Oh, f!%@ it we can figure out how this is all possible once we're in the clear." Hearing Kali's suggestion, the worg nods. "Come on big guy, let's help find a place to setup camp."

Kalisuel wrote: "I think if Maddok and Na'shok agree, we should go to Que-kiri. I've never been there, so hopefully I'll get to add some tales to my collection!" The worg looks to Slam. "We've got a contract with the ogre... or we're workin' on one at least. We'll go wherever he needs to be."

Kalisuel wrote: "So, do wolves bicker like that among themselves," Kali quietly asks Na'shok once the argument between Peri and Thalasi dies down. Na'shok shrugs, an oddly human expression. "Yeah, they fight over simple things. Wolves are almost as dumb as men."

The worg lopes over to Kalisuel. "The name's Na'shok actually. The big guy calls me Nash because he's not so great with longer names. What did you need a hand with? I'd help with rowing but it looks like Maddok and the ogre have it covered."

It looks like I missed a lot today. Na'shok listens carefully as Peregrine makes her pitch for several of the tavern's staff and patrons to take shelter together. It was a good plan. He shares a knowing glance with Maddok before climbing to this feet. The worg saunters away from his meal to join the conversation. "Listen Mister Slam, not that you're lacking for it but the big guy and I get the impression you could use a little extra muscle. Once the immediate danger with this Toady bastard passes, we'd be willing to accompany you wherever you're headed - for appropriate compensation of course. A couple of hob's aren't the only trouble you're gunna run into packing a bauble like that. And when you run into that trouble, maybe the next group of strangers won't be so willing to watch your back."

Slam's approach stirs the worg from his feast. He sits up on his haunches to watch as the ogre politely makes himself comfortable. "You're not dressed like any of the ogres I've ever seen", he observes aloud. "Most of 'em look like my man Maddok here - all clan in loincloths and leather. That armor's almost shiny enough to see yourself in. Wait... are you with the Knights?"
Na'shok watches the bustle of the tavern carefully, searching for a prospective employer for the duo (if not an easy mark). He's not terribly surprised when Kalisuel comes around with another hefty serving of the house special for his minotaur buddy. The bull often got gifts from other patrons (and sometimes admirers) when the pair were cavorting. He is visibly surprised when he's presented with a feast of bloody meat and bones by the golden-haired woman. The worg gives Kalisuel a toothy lupine 'smile' that is equal parts frightening and endearing. "As long as the work doesn't dry up, I say we stick around this place for a while. They know how to treat a guy."

After a long pause of confusion at the goddess's response, Nash'ok chimes in. "Evil, good, villains, and the righteous, they’re all just spokes on a wheel. Sometime later, within one of the Hobgoblin city's war rooms, Na'shok draws a magic circle and wills a distant outsider to fill it. Barda can keep him up with her marshal thing. Quote: Fight On (Su): With an order or a determined look, you spur a wounded ally to keep fighting. As an immediate action, you can expend one use of mythic power to allow a creature other than yourself that is reduced to fewer than 0 hit points to remain conscious and alive. The creature can't die from hit point damage until after the start of your next turn. You can extend this effect for 1 round at the start of your next turn by expending another use of mythic power as a free action. Though the creature can't be killed by hit point damage, any damage it takes still applies to its current hit points. When this ability's effect ends, the creature falls unconscious or dies if its current hit points or other circumstances would otherwise cause it to do so. The creature must be within 30 feet for you to start or extend this effect.
