Moktargarn drew his pistol and taclash and led the way. He takes everything that happens in his stride, rolling his shoulders to loosen the muscles in his neck.

"Whatever happens we keep moving," he utters to the group, his eyes darting around at the shadows. As soon as he sees anything remotely hostile, he will open with a shot from his pistol.

"We'll target their weapon systems. Without the ability to fight us, it is unlikely they will continue the duel," Vesk continues, "Once that's out of the way, it should be plain sailing."

"Easily done," he rumbles, "I've seen men forget who their mothers were in the midst of battle. Although you'll only do it once." Moktargarn assigns three credits to Harec.

Kludde, happy for us to handwave the three credits? We'll wind up with the same totals anyway and it removes a step of paperwork we don't really need.

Moktargarn does his usual impression of a monolith as he listens to the shirren relay their orders. However, at the mention of Sangoro's Bulwark, he suddenly becomes far more animated.

"The Bulwark," he mutters quietly as the shirren finishes their briefing. He nods slightly to Glitch as she relays a summary of the mission. As the Human speaks up, Moktargarn glances at him and shakes his head.

"We have time for introductions on the flight," he grumbles, flexing his fists, eager to be on the move, "If this mission relates to Sangoro's Bulwark, we need to get boots on the ground."

Well I have just finished 1-02 with an online group here on the forums and we managed to avoid killing anyone, albeit with some post-combat healing.

However I guess I will have another look at the boons.

I have posted from this character's profile as he's the one I'm looking to use in relation to the above boon.

My query is thus: Moktargarn is a Vesk who refuses to kill. Certainly, he will knock someone around without problem, but he draws the line at killing.

However, this boon clearly states cadaver. If I knock out and manacle a creature, can I use that as fulfilling the cadaver part of the boon?

Obviously this means I cannot use the boon for such things as oozes without some suitable form of non-lethal containment, 'cos manacles won't cut it.

Did you run the Intimidate on the miners too, or just Talbot? Also is Intimidate in combat in Starfinder a standard action?

Perhaps it's just me, but I don't see where we are supposed to be on the map, nor do I see where Garn is?

Moktargarn smiles as Leo calls down the mineshaft. He liked this android. Stepping up beside Leo, Moktargarn drew his pulsecaster pistol and taclash in readiness.

So apparently there are no two-weapon wielding penalties, I just choose which one I use. I asked in the Rules forum. It seems a little odd to me, but it gives some utility!

"And if you don't, there's a Vesk out here, pissed off at being dragged halfway round a planet for you, Talbot! Your call!" Moktargarn threw as much menace and anger into his voice as possible, hoping that his people's reputation would do the talking for him. He looked down at Leo and grinned.

Moktargarn snaps his taclash back into place on his belt, then retrieves his pulsecaster pistol. Looking down at the woman, he narrows his eyes in concern.

"Anyone able to make sure she doesn't die?" he asks roughly, while rifling through any visible pockets she might have.

Feel free to roll any necessary rolls for hidden things, etc.

"A quick break is fine, but let's not hold up any longer than we need to," he rumbles, refusing any alcohol.

Slight problem is that the character only deals non-lethal damage. I guess that it is pulsecaster pistol in one hand, taclash in the other.

Moktargarn narrows his eyes as he misses but pushes on with the attack, using the momentum of the taclash to whip it around his head and directing another blow at the woman's face.

Moktargarn takes his victory graciously, thanking the men for their generosity but he's not drinking at the moment, so they can keep their credits. He was just happy for the competition.

Moktargarn similarly remains quiet as the group discusses the finer points of their collective missions, although his interest in the Vesk bodyguard is piqued as he seems to watch Fuskee.

Unless directly questioned on something, however, he shall remain quiet.

Moktargarn looks down at the miners who ask him for a contest by arm-wrestling and shrugs.

"Your loss," he responds with a toothy smile. Gripping the edge of a nearby table, he holds his arm in the regular position and awaits his first competitor.

Go ahead and roll what you need to.

After the brief distraction, he rejoins the party as they look over at the AbadarCorp representatives. Listening to the others, he quickly chimes in.

"I suggest we make for where Talbot is holed up," he intones so that only the party can hear him, "Before our friends get too interested."

Moktargarn remains quiet through much of the proceedings, having little to add. He surveys the room in an almost disinterested fashion, although he keeps an eye out for any possible problems.

He is surprised by the generally happy attitude of the miners. From what the others had told him, he certainly expected them to be a bit more... resigned.

In the inn, he stands in the group keeping a watchful eye out for trouble.

Moktargarn looks around the motley crew and begins to wonder if they can actually complete their given task. Although he doubts he could find any tracks in the bustling port, he nonetheless keeps an eye out for anything untoward.

Moktargarn approaches the shuttle with a small backpack slung over his shoulder. Attached to his belt is a pulsecaster pistol and a taclash hangs from a small securing hook. He glances up at the band advert and grunts dismissively.

"Shall we get this over and done with?" he rumbles, as he boards the shuttle. He spends most of the journey in a restful meditative state, after adjusting the position of his pistol and taclash.

Once they land, Moktargarn listens to the others speak. His shoulders shrug as they discuss options.

"I was never really good at the... investigative stuff," he states, looking around to see if anyone has noticed their arrival, "I will leave that to you lot."
