So, I'm doing the alias thingy for my character right now, and I'd like to get it all neat and polished and such. Would anyone care to give me tips to do so? I'm used to the fillable PDFs in terms of doing character sheets. :x

Tiefling Cosmetics: 3d100 ⇒ (45, 69, 16) = 130

Starting Height/Weight: 2d10 ⇒ (4, 7) = 11

Starting Age: 8d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 3, 1, 4, 6, 6, 6) = 37

Edit: Hmm, I'm inclined to take "Horns:Other" (45 on what I rolled) and just say she's got sort of conical horns, like I typically picture an oni having, but I'm not sure what "Horns:Other" implies, if it's a DM's pick, or what.

5 ft. 4 in. for height

97 years old

Okay, I finally figured out how to make a "sheet", under Aliases.

(I did mention I was a newbie to these forums, right? ._. Making sure. >_< )

Do I still roll randomly for starting age and the tiefling cosmetic chart? Again, we usually do so on Invisible Castle, roll three times, and choose one of the three we rolled. If so, would I just roll those in here, or in the discussion thread?

Racial Zen Archer? ?_?; If you just mean the race, still probably a Tiefling, but I'll check. (I kind of like Aasimar as well.)

Though, on that note, how does the system you use for stats work? I'm used to either the DM rolling or the players rolling on Invisible Castle via a screen-sharing program for stats.

So, it occurs to me that Warpriest isn't something I can do for this, as it uses the gods of Golarion for some of its key things. Soooo, moving down the list of things I'd like to play, how do you all feel about a Zen Archer?

Yep, and it allows for DM meddling, too. Since the wish was for "something to kill the slavers with", it allows for a bunch of wish corruption. Perhaps she eventually starts to see everyone around her as a slaver, perhaps the weapon gets a will of its own and tries to dominate her once its ego is high enough, etc etc. Cursed items and wishes, deadly combination.

Oh, well he mentioned that at this point, no more "just died" people can show up, so you guys would meet this tiefling as you enter the land, I think. So you'd more than likely run into her as she's distancing herself far, far away from her previous camp.

Right, so I threw an idea at mdt (violently, I might add), and he mentioned that I should post it here for a consensus from you all.

It'd be an oni-blooded tiefling, more than likely, though that's subject to change. She would've been captured by slavers and sold or worked for an undetermined amount of time. (I'm still working out specifics.) Eventually, she would've gotten desperate enough to pray to anything that would hear her, wishing for some way out of her predicament, passing out soon after. She had a dream where she heard a female voice, one that she interpreted as some kind of a divine power, and once again, she wished for a weapon to free her from her captors. When she awoke the next morning, she found a weapon that she used to do just that, slaying her captors and fleeing the camp.

The twist is that the voice was not a holy power, and was instead a glabrezu doing exactly what glabrezu do best, corrupting wishes. That weapon that she thinks is from some otherworldly something-or-another is actually cursed in some manner, and could potentially lead to her death.

Like I said, not fully polished, but that's the jist of it. :|

Well, so far, it's still on pending, so I can't say one way or another, but I definitely appreciate the help. Crossing my fingers!

Well, I just checked and changed the shipping address to match mine, so that part's solved, hopefully. I checked my email a minute ago, and noticed there was an email telling me there was a problem with the order, specifically that "We do not have a payment method registered" for it, even though there is one, since, well, I put it there. In any case, hopefully the address thing was the problem, but I think it'd still require a moderator or someone to check it and reverse it, if necessary? I'm not sure, since this is my first time paying without Paypal.

Edit: I also forgot to say thank you, sooooo thank you.

Right, so I got a PF subscription for Mummy's Mask yesterday and checked my downloads today, and I didn't see the download link for the PDF. So I was somewhat confused and decided to check my subscriptions, where it lists the Adventure Path subscription. Lower on the page, where it gives shipping estimates for each book in the series, it said my payment method for the first book was declined, which I don't quite understand, since my card is valid. I don't think I put the information in wrong, and the only thing I might've botched up is putting in the address when I actually purchased it, since I entered the shipping address of my friend (since the physical copies are going to him. I just want the PDFs.) Is there some way to correct the issue, or am I going to have to purchase the first book by itself? Or did I just get the AP subscription too late to qualify for the first Adventure Path in the series?

(Note that I noticed upon going to the subscription page that the payment method was incorrect, and had my friend's address as opposed to mine, so that might've been an issue as well.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

@Excalibur: That was actually an accident. Originally, the class was going to have a split somewhere around level 9 or 10, with one path taking more of a focus on the physical, acrobatic aspects, while the other focused more on the arcane side of the bonded weapon. UMD shouldn't actually be on there, and is now deleted.

Hi, I'm the friend. XD

Specifically, I was going to get the Adventure Path subscription for Mummy's Mask, and I read that you basically get the downloads & the physical books. I only really want the PDFs, but I have quite a few friends who'd love the physical copies. So the question is basically: If I get the subscription, can I get the downloadable PDFs (as per the usual) and choose a different address for the physical books to go to? If I remember correctly, Paypal uses the default address information of the account owner.

Well, what I had in mind for the bonus feats is that they're in the different pools, but the player would still have to meet any level requirements for it, otherwise they could get the critical feats a few levels earlier than required. I was thinking of changing the proficiency they get with proficiency in a single group of exotic weapons. I.E. Exotic Flails, Exotic Ranged, Exotic Slashing, etc. To be honest, I hadn't thought much about how well or how poorly some of the abilities would interact with certain skills/feats. I was more interested in building it in terms of flavors. Flavor-wise, what I had in mind was an archetype that was fairly nimble, hence the Elegant Step/Acrobatic Grace-type stuff. A friend suggested that I make the AC bonus reliant on a mental stat, so it prevented stacking for the AC bonus.

Exotic Soul-Tentative Name

Okay, this one seems to work now, not sure why it wasn't before. >_< Really sorry about the 50,000,000 edits

Okay, try this link and tell me if it works, please? Had to go and get the shared link since the first one didn't want to work.

First, I'd like to stress that I'm new to PF compared to most of the people I run with. Our DM is pretty busy most of the time, so I can't say he gets time to look at all the silly things we do most of the time. (He's still awesome, though!)

Anyway, I decided with all the stuff he makes (custom races, custom racial archetypes), and how well his turn out, I wanted to try making a custom archetype, sort of like a combination of a monk and a fighter, focusing specifically on the exotic weapons, and one in particular. (Player's choice, obviously)

The problem is that the games I'm playing in don't really have a spot for this class so far, and I'm not going to jeopardize the group by doing so.

Basically, what I'm asking is if people can:

Look at the class and make suggestions to balance it out a bit, because I'm sure it's not quite balanced.

Possibly play-test it, since i have yet to get a chance to do so?

Keep in mind I'm new and I'm openly admitting that some aspects of the class will probably be a bit too good, which is why I'm asking for help here. So I'd appreciate it if people didn't completely lay into me and say "OMG this class is OP and you're bad at designing things."

Exotic Soul-Tentative Name

The name is also tentative, and if someone can come up with a better one, please make suggestions. XP

Mmmm, the two moments of awesome I can think of off the top of my head...

Both of them were on a character I made called Mira: Female dhampir monk/tetori combo. The party gets into their first dungeon and there's a female Wilder running from a young dragon. Dragon sprays acid all over the party and combat begins. I end up grappling the dragon and we get into a grapple fight, then the Wilder crit it. So it tries to fly away and I get an AoO, and manage to grapple the thing again. Afterwards, I pretty much got to attack, so I forced the damn thing out of the sky and headfirst into the floor, and it died.

The second wasn't so much a moment, as it was an entire campaign of awesome. We drew from a modified Deck of Many Things, and one of the players got a lillend as a concubine. In an early dungeon, however, he got dominated by a trap and tried to kill the party. The lillend didn't like that, so she began to rebel and eventually became a party member herself after getting tf'ed into a succubus via a Deck. Eventually, Mira had this whole subplot thing and through the course of the adventure, her and the succubus (Sharia) ended up falling in love, having babehs off-screen (half-celestial aludemons, due to another deck effect), and then getting married. The succubus (Sharia was her name, by the way.) got stronger and effectively became soul-linked to Mira, so if Mira died, Sharia would also die, but not before effectively condemning the soul who did so. So tl;dr, what was originally a simple nameless companion became a major character, and finally a wife for a PC. (And yes, those twin babies ended up getting played as PCs afterwards, since the had accelerated growths. It allowed the parents to have a honeymoon before the end of the world began.)

It should also be noted this was my very first PF campaign ever, and I now love it.
