It was true that she was determined to do something about what was going on in the city, now...but the recent event were still vivid in her head, and that surely didn't foster her appetite.
Instead, the tiefling closes her eyes, trying to calm and focus herself: if they were going to have to fight again, she couldn't lose control like she did back in the alley: singing had always helped to clear her mind, and maybe it would have helped her now to focus the monstrous strength she wielded a few minutes before.

For a few moments, everything slowed down, as the tiefling could only hear the sound of a blade cleaving trough flesh, smashing the spine with a crunch. Wide-eyed, Mirais stands motionless, staring at the cleaved corpse, oblivious to what was now happening around.
When Zev and Canacha pulls her away, she opposes no resistance, but keeps staring at the dead woman even as she is led away from the scene.
