Sorry for only a quick post. About Mel getting all 'nekkid' for the guys? ;) I'd actually been thinking really hard about this before...well...things. The pair of options I'd thought of/come across were 1) Borrowing one or two of Holystone's "Air-crystals" (I alwyas forget what the actual alchemical name is, sorry) and simply 'walking' in. Assuming the way was short enough. 2) Similar to 1 but, yes, stripping down to the padding and paddling into the place. Now, since things have resolved a little (Still wishing every one all the very best) Coming in through the 'roof' and fighting down definitely seems the better idea. As long as we can keep holding any/all the 'choke' points between levels we should actually do pretty well. Melthun is a moving wall... And there's nothing better for allies to hide behind than a wall, especially one made of metal. :) With the sad loss of Hollystone.... Are we seeking to bring in more Just a thought. First, get better soon and am hoping things are as good/best they can be after such an event. Middle of last year I lost control of my car on wet/oily road and punched a guard rail with the front left bumper. Thankfully, nothing worse than the damage to the car. Still, get treated for anything and I hope your vehicle/damages etc aren't too bad. Second, in relation to the game? "Relax". Perhaps you can, kind of, 'Take it slow'. About the Mule? We hobble its front legs so it can't wander too far, can still move and we come back fro it so as to have it carry all the fat loots. Um...when I say "As much as she has" is that not a proper guide? It is very effective healing source. Buying a lot, for those who are going into combat, is a good thing. Melthune has lot of money still saved. Besides the taste/sickened property is very good healing agent. Melthune sits, slowly relaxing into the proffered Half-ling's chair. She shows her enjoyment at the Half-ling's offered meal and beverages. She listens intently to the discussion of 'settling'... thinking before slowly adding. "One might think that the low lands would be the better place for a farming community." She ponders, "Though the proper, in depth, defenses of such would take a good amount of time and work to establish..." She frowns slightly as she thinks upon the problem more.

Would such a large tent be called a 'Pavilion'? Am also quite happy to 'copy paste' the to buy list. Heck, fishing line, hooks etc as well? Maybe even nets? Melthune politely awaits her turn at introduction before she steps forwards and offers her, formal, hello (Fist on chest, full name etc). She notes to the Lord that she is both relatively new to the group and still has not seen or signed anything official from the town of Beacon in regards to herself, though she does indicate that she is more than happy and willing to do so. Melthune follows every one into the 'Back room'. As she traverses the tavern, her eyes stray over its interior architecture. Once inside, she finds some where reasonably comfortable to sit/relax and listens politely as every one chats. When Hack waves his pipe in her direction and asks her thoughts she takes a moment to gather them, over the settling of her meal and the alcohol she's consumed, before answering. "When I heard about Beacon and the potentials here. I was intrigued by the possibility of establishing my own holdings. Some where that was mine...not necessarily having to be beholden directly to family and kin and all the complicated politics that entails..." Melthune sighs as some thought. "I think I told people that?" Then she looks to Jenner and smiles, "Well...now I've definitely told you all that." Her gaze travels around the group. "I must admit that now, after our encounters in the South, I have an extra reason to want to start up my on holdings. It can be some where to strain people. Work up actual troops. Start getting organized in a way that we can take the fight back to those who would raise armies of ravaged minions." Melthune's gaze goes slightly distant. "I did offer Amun-ta help in reclaiming that which has been taken from herself..." Melthune shrugs. "Well..having string arms and shields will always be welcome some place."

During the journey North Melthine spends her time between duty and training. When on duty is wears her full armor, though keeping her helmet, shield and sword close by so tat she can help haul and lift. Her practice time is divided between sword katas and thence practicing in her full armor. As the ship comes into the harbor, Melthune's gaze takes in all that she can see.
