As you know, the launch version of our digital library suffered some challenges in the translation from (digital) paper idea to an actual feature supporting hundreds of files. What looked and worked great in the original wireframes and demos ended up being unwieldy due to limitations in library size and available product data.
Today we've deployed a number of changes and fixes to streamline the experience:
• Multi-download capability has been fixed
• “Group by name” has been renamed to “Sort by name” for clarity
• On mobile: the "Actions" and "Sort" drop-downs on mobile are no longer vacationing off the edge of the mobile screen and are now displayed properly within the viewing area so they can be easily used.
• On mobile: moved the download button up on the page so it is easily found without scrolling
• On desktop: Removed the "Apply" button from the "Sort" sub-menu. Selecting an option from the drop-down immediately executes that action.
Things that also happened without fanfare:
• We made sure all the files in your digital library were properly named with "single file" or "per-chapter"
Things that are still to come:
• Consolidating downloads so that you have a complete library of all of your purchased items in one place in the new store's library
• Filtering updates
We appreciate your patience as the team has been hard at work on these changes.

So I went and looked at store.library.whateveritis and found a page of fifty items that I'd apparently never downloaded, going back a few months to when I cancelled all my subs. So I downloaded them. Not a great experience -- I ended up with 50 new tabs in my browser. There was a link to "page 2" (of five or so) and a notation that there are 1112 items in my library. So I clicked on page 2. It's blank. Nothing there. There was a link to the "legacy" download library at the top of the page, so I went there. Familiar territory, and nothing I haven't already downloaded.
Conclusion: there are two separate libraries. Will this always be the case?

Sorting by "date-last-updated" doesn't work either.
I would expect to see all the entries that have a date at all be first in the list, and then a bunch of blanks. But my first entry has 1/5/26 and then there a bunch of blanks and a 1/16/26 which is clearly more recent than 1/5/26. And other entries with actual dates interspersed between a bunch of blanks.
I am curious why you didn't test with a User (most likely a long term employee) that had ALL the PDFs, as that could test the extremes of your new system. And then you could figure it all out before going live and frustrating customers.
