Hey guys, I'm building a blind swordsman that utilizes the blind master feats (I know it's a big disadvantage, but I like the characters personality better than having the best build so I think I'll be fine!). And he starts out at level 5. I didnt want this character to have alot of dex because most of the benefits of dex is negated because if any ranger is attacking him outside his blindsight range, hes flat footed. So I wanted a high flat footed. But I thought it would be cool doing a twf build.... haha I know, contradicting character concepts. But I decided that I could try the Slayer class, allowing me to get TWF ignoring the prerequisites (using the ranger's combat styles). But to help with getting my sneak attack I was thinking about picking up the fient feats (because he is blind he actually gets a bonus to fients). But feats like improved two-weapon fient would be perfect but it says it requires 15 dex... (probably because you need TWF to get it.. but I got TWF without an 15 dex...) so after this long explanation, I was wondering if you guys know about any way to bypass the dex requirement for things like the two-weapon fient feats? (Also if you have any other suggestions that you think my character could go, I would take any suggestions, I love hearing about builds and ideas!) Thanks,
Hey guys, I am currently making a character that Is going to utilize two weapon fighting. I think I may make the character also a two weapon warrior fighter archetype. I was trying to figure out what I should use as my weapons? I was thinking of using the Elven Thorn Blade and Elven Leaf Blade combo. And then I could also grab the crit feats. I was also tempted to grab 2 Thorn Blades and have one welded to an Effortless Lace so I could get a higher damage die. And to add onto that I was gonna get the critical feats to make that even better. My other option is to do the same thing with the effortless laces but instead of the elven blades, I use two Bastard Swords . So I would alot less crit range, but I would have a lot larger damage die... so yeah, what do you guys think I should use? And I can add more about the build if you ask (trying my best not to write a book..) and if you have any sort of suggestions with this build I would love to hear some feedback Thanks,
Hey guys I just bought the Deluxe Harrow Deck and I was wondering what people have done with it. At the moment I am about to start the Harrowing module so I can use the deck to have the players more involved with the cards. But I was wondering what you guys used the deck for and if the $20 is worth it. I might return it because they came bent and I was wondering if I should buy it again. Thanks
Hello all, I wanted to play the Harrowing Module as a one shot for my group. It says that it is for 9th level characters, but i noticed that some of the fights go up the CR11. Do you think it will be too difficult? Do you guys have any suggestion for me when I DM this module? Should I start the party at lvl 10, or maybe level them up as they play? This is my first time DMing so if there are any suggestions that seem obvious it may still be helpful to a first time DM. Sincerely,
I posted this in general and someone said this was more of an advice, so I added to advice. :) I want to become a goblin that utilizes the roll with it feat. I was thinking maybe going monk and monkey style but what do you guys think would make this viable/useful. Also would I be able to equip spiked armor and roll into enemies hurting them? I also was thinking about going firebomber/winged marauder alchemist.Do you think this is a viable goblin build? Is there a better class that would use this feat better? The campaign I will be playing is reign of winter if that helps :) Thanks

I have made a Lvl 15 wizard. I have already got both spell focus and greater spell focus. I have a 34 int(so +12) so if I cast a Lvl 5 spell it would be a spell save dc of 29(10+12+5+2). Is that good? Is there any other way to increase my dc? I know about demoralize through intimidate, and I need to beat the target's dc of (10+hitdice+wis mod). Is there any other way to lower someone's spell save dc?
There is an ability wizards get when picking the Conjuration Arcane School and going down the path of Creation, that allows the wizard to create an object that weighs one pound or less. The object must be made of simple materials, such as wood, stone, glass, or metal, and cannot contain any moving parts. What are some cool/unique/helpful things a conjuration wizard could make using the using this ability?
I was looking around pathfinder forums because I building a wizard. I came across what someone said to be the strongest wizard. It was Ravingdork's Gilgeam Grayhem. I was wondering what makes this character so good? I understand that his spells are cool. Also why is he a divination school wizard that casts pretty much only transmutation spells. I'm new to casters so I could just be totally missing it but idk. Here's the link to Ravingdork's characters it is in alphabetical order
So I was just having fun building characters for pathfinder when I thought of something. Can a person use gargantuan of colossal weapons? With the penalty of course.
So I'm making a paladin and I need your help. My stats are 18,17,17,16,14,14 and I want to play a character that's is fun but can also be a decent front line fighter. My dm doesn't mind 3rd party things(as long as its balanced) and I don't care what the archetype is(if any), or if it's multiclassed or prestige. Try to enjoy yourselves if you want to help me(don't want to seem like I'm forcing you guys :D ). Good Luck! |
